Illegal immigration has been a top problem for the US for decades, but there are times when the spike in border crossings is so explosive that the public needs to take extra consideration of the causes.  In the past couple of years the US has seen an uptick in migrant numbers and in arrests at the southern border, but the past three months in particular have eclipsed all previous stats.

In October, the Border Patrol posted over 2.4 million migrant arrests for the year, the highest rate on record.

Keep in mind that these are only the people that were caught.  With the Biden Admin's consistent interference in Border Patrol operations it is likely many millions more were able to sneak through without being cataloged.  Of course, being arrested at the border no longer means a migrant will have to leave, and in many cases the arrest is merely a stepping stone to illegal but officially overlooked residency in America.
