Better than expected PMI data for the UK is a reminder not to completely write off the UK economy - or sterling and its assets – quite yet.

It’s been well-telegraphed the UK is in a bit of a funk, with anaemic growth, flat-lining productivity, and a new government with little vision about how to address the country’s managed decline.
