Goldman Sees 2027 Hyperscaler Capex Rising As High As $1.4 Trillion

A few weeks ago, when Q1 earnings landed and we got the latest capex forecasts from various hyperscaler companies, we were stunned to find that the combined total in estimated 2027 spending had ballooned by over 30% from the previous estimate indicated as of Q4 2025 to just over $1.1 trillion from $950 billion previously, according to Morgan Stanley.
