Jackson Hole Roadmap: What To Look For In The Biggest Central Bank Event Of The Year

Later this week, economists from around the world will gather in Jackson Hole for the Federal Reserve’s annual symposium. Ahead of the most closely watched central bank event of the fall, Goldman's FX trading desk has addressed some of the most common questions around the logistics of the conference, things to watch, and some specific topics of interest this year.

Chairman Warsh will deliver the keynote address at 10:00am EDT on Friday (August 28). The text of his speech will be released at that time. ECB Governing Council member Schnabel will be participating in a panel discussion at 11:55am EDT on Friday. Rosanna Costa, President of the Central Bank of Chile, will be participating. RBNZ Governor Anna Breman will be in attendance but not speaking publicly.
