Dead. Cat. Bounce?
Tl;dr: After yesterday's post-Warsh-walloping, everything is awesome today (stocks up, yields down (curve flatter), gold up) as oil prices slipped lower on signs that supply disruptions in the Middle East are set to ease (but oil did bounce back during the US session). Rate-hike odds did not shift much and the dollar drifted modestly lower, bitcoin rallied back to $77k. Solid early breadth faded - and activity was only a '4/10' according to Goldman - prompting many to reduce expectations of follow-thru into OpEx. Hopes for a 'short' hiking cycle have historically led to disappointment.
