"We Are Forced To Strike Back": Russia Set To Expel 30 US Diplomats, Seize US Assets

When Obama announced the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats and the seizure of Russian diplomatic compounds in Maryland last December, in response to alleged Russian interference in the election, Putin just smiled and said Russia would not retaliate, expecting that relations between Russia and the US would normalize under president Trump. Six months later, relations have not only not normalized but have deteriorated further following the latest round of sanctions against Russia despite daily allegations that Trump colluded with the Kremlin to convince several million Americans to vote against Hillary.

And, as a result, Putin's patience appears to have run out, and according to Russian newspaper Izvestiya, the Kremlin is set to expel around 30 US diplomats and freeze some US assets in a retaliatory move against Washington.

Quoting a Foreign Ministry source, the Izvestiya newspaper says the move is due to the failure to reach an agreement on two Russian diplomatic compounds in the US seized by the outgoing Obama administration in December last year.

“There is a preliminary agreement on holding a meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Ryabkov and US Under Secretary of State Thomas Shannon in St. Petersburg. If the compromise is not found there, we will have to take such measures,” a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told the Izvestiya newspaper.

Izvestiya also cited Andrey Klimov, a senator in the upper house of Russia's parliament, who said that "Russia had already waited more than six months for the Trump administration to improve the relationship between the two countries" and was now forced to strike back.

"We are forced to draw a line and answer in a similar way," Klimov told Izvestiya. "These moves are not meant as our attempts to show our negative attitudes toward the Trump administration but rather as evidence of the fact that Russia is a strong nation that deserves respectable treatment."

The Russian newspaper adds that the decision came after Trump and Putin's first meeting at the G20 Summit in Germany failed to produce an agreement on the lightening of US sanctions against Russia. The issue of the Russian diplomatic compounds was also raised at the Putin-Trump meeting in Hamburg, according to the Russian press reports.

And, as Trump and his family face fresh claims of collusion with the Kremlin, Putin’s patience over the non-return of the Russian compounds has run out.

According to the newspaper, while the administration plans to seize the American summer house in a forest region outside of Moscow and a warehouse in the center of the city, it will not touch the residence of the American ambassador and the American international school in St. Petersburg.

@ Looney,

I posted the following this morning & received one answer from a poster.

In April 2013, GOP Senator McCain at an Idlib, Syria Terrorist Gathering Pledged US Money and Weapons to Ex-US POW Ibrahim Al-Badri of the “Free Syrian Army,”an Al Qaeda Leader Then Already Among Washington’s Five Most Wanted Terrorists with a $10 Million Reward on His Head; McCain’s Moderate Democratic Protege Badri Was Simultaneously Emir of ISIS, Styling Himself Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, and Now Claims to Rule the World as Caliph Ibrahim of the Restored Caliphate — So Why Hasn’t McCain Been Indicted?

>>So Why Hasn’t McCain Been Indicted?<<

That's easy... McCain serves the interests of the Debt-Money Monopolist class that is financing and arming al Qaeda / ISIS in order to overthrow non BIS debt-money central bank countries so that the the Debt-Money Monopolists can set up a BIS debt-money central in Syria. This is basically a sign of ownership... a sign that the Debt-Money Monopolist coup of a country is complete.

The Money Power is **conbtrol**.

The Money Power is "the one ring to rule them all."

"The true equation is 'democracy' = government by world financiers...The main mark of modern governments is that we do not know who governs, de facto any more than de jure. We see the politician and not his backer; still less the backer of the backer; or what is most important of all, the banker of the backer. Enthroned above all, in a manner without parallel in all past, is the veiled prophet of finance, swaying all men living by a sort of magic, and delivering oracles in a language not understanded [sic] of the people."

You under estimate Trump. Fact is that most people that win the lotto are broke within 10 years, its like 90+% of them. The fact that Trump took 10million and turned it into over a billion shows he isn't a fool and well aware that neither is Putin. I know its fashionable to rip on Trump and say he is an idiot but all the evidence shows the exact opposite. But I guess when you are trying to repeat Bull shit that is targeted at idiots you are using the correct stratagem just doing it on the wrong website.

No one "infiltrated" his family. And why would they need to if they were his life long handlers, they would always have been in control.

Trump sold out his family, he prostituted them, he trained them to be whores AND to be smart enough to see what was to their advantage in the future and their children's advantage. THAT is why all of Trumps offspring who have married, have married jews.

When you consider the areas in which Trump is very, very smart - or perhaps great expertise in operating/maneuvering - then what he has done and how he has positioned his offspring is downright frightening.

Trump has sold his soul. He is now completely controlled, but he is not only willing, he asked to be their puppet and agent.

Ninety percent of all businesses fail in their first three years. Four bankruptcies out of Trump's 500 start up businesses is a phenomenal track record of success. Only an ignoramus or a shill would claim otherwise. If you're on this site you should have at least some knowledge of how businesses get started and their success rates.Maybe you should run back to your Democrat friends and ask them for some more fake news to post.

Sorry but I don't see any news I posted, fake or otherwise, but I must admire the vehemence of your support for Trump. Remember though that as he wrote “I play to people’s fantasies,” (1987 book “The Art of the Deal.”) For your sake, I hope he doesn't pop your bubble.

"But, is it not just a question of getting the confidence of others and then dropping them in the shit for your own benefit, be that money or sociopathic self-delusional ego?"It's not like that.  Trump made a lot of investments with others in which he did not offer his personal guarantee.  Unlike many other oligarchs he does not have a single company that he works out of, he puts together deals, takes a piece (or a fee), and sells the rest.  The buyers take the risks they take and reap the rewards they get.To make this more down-to-earth, I was involved in one of Trump's "bankruptcies", some of his casinos in Jersey.  Trump, the Trump Organization Inc., Trump Taj Mahal Inc., Taj Mahal Funding Inc. and Trump Taj Mahal Associates Limited Partnership, among others, were sued by the investors in the deal (because ultimately the casinos failed).Judge Becker (who was a brilliant judge), writing for the Third Circuit, summarized the case like this (a "prospectus" is the offering document which asks others to invest in the business):  "The prospectus here took considerable care to convey to potential investors the extreme risks inherent in the venture while simultaneously carefully alerting the investors to a variety of obstacles the Taj Mahal would face, all of which were relevant to a potential investor's decision concerning purchase of the bonds."Do you really think Trump should be the guarantor of all investments made in any business with which he is associated?  That's just plain ludicriuos, nobody, and I mean NOBODY, does that.  And you wouldn't either.I actually despise the Dump, but I despise him for being a puppet for the global oligarchs, lieing his arse off during the campaign, and continuing to drive our country to ruin.  I don't despise him for fake news reasons (which the media uses as it is owned/run by those very same global oligarchs who want to divert your attention from the fact that they are busy as a bee destroying our country and our world).

It's one thing to be good in the real estate business (where usually crooks thrive), it's another to understand economics, geopolitics... Trump is like those crazy artists that people call genius because nothing of what they do make sense and can be understood. Trump is not an idiot, he lacks the knowledge and the vision the POTUS would need now. Make America great again in the midst of automation, he is just 40 years too late...

Despite the down votes on the above, which somehow I cannot disagree with in view of Trump's actual performance as a negotiator, be it with Russia, China, Japan, Germany, UK, Korea, Taiwan, or N. Korea, let alone the plethora of alphabet soup organizations in his own federal security state. I cannot but think how perfect the effectiveness and timing of this move is to both help him, and help Russia.

Say what you will about Trump, but he knows how to raise kids.  If you doubt that, check out Born Rich (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0342143/), a documentary made in 2003 by Jamie Johnson (heir to Johnson & Johnson money) about his rich friends, one of whom was Ivanka. (Spoiler alert:  Ivanka seemed to be one of only two or three with her head on straight; the other subjects' own words make it clear that they're execrable human beings.)

I wouldn't call any of the recent presidents of this century geniuses and especially the last few decades. The level of corruption at this level is off the charts and every one of them are aware of it.

What ever it is they've been selected for by TPTB is not because of an IQ rating. I'd say most of them are very shallow men who are easily persuaded to save their own necks as they viciously slaughter millions of innocent people as a mere lying puppet. They're empty souls with nothing behind the eyes.
