FBI Seized Crushed Hard Drives From Home Of Wasserman-Schultz' IT Aide

Over the past few months, the story of the Awan brothers has been largely ignored by mainstream media. However, the Pakistani-born brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan are at the center of a criminal investigation by U.S. Capital Hill Police and the FBI.  While official charges have not yet been filed, allegations of wrong doing vary from simply overcharging taxpayers for congressional IT equipment to blackmailing members of Congress with secrets captured from emails.

The Awan brothers were Pakistani IT specialists, whom worked for more than 30 house and senate democrats, as well as Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The substantial scandal has raised questions about who may have been passed data which the Awans had access to, given Pakistan's history of collaborating with a number of foreign countries who have demonstrated past willingness to influence U.S. politics.

Now, per an exclusive report from the Daily Caller, we learn that the twisted plot surrounding the Awan brothers has grown even more interesting as FBI agents have reportedly seized a number of "smashed hard drives" and other computer equipment from their former residence in Virginia.

FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to an individual who was interviewed by Bureau investigators in the case and a high level congressional source.

Pakistani-born Imran Awan, long-time right-hand IT aide to the former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman, has since desperately tried to get the hard drives back, the individual told The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group.

The congressional source, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, confirmed that the FBI has joined what Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into “serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network” by Imran and three of his relatives, who had access to the emails and files of the more than two dozen House Democrats who employed them on a part-time basis.

Capitol Police have also seized computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.

Makes you wonder whether they used the official BleachBit hammer to destroy the hard drives.

Apparently the hard drives were first discovered by a Marine Corps veteran after he rented a house in Lorton, Va. that belonged to the Awans.  Upon moving in, the Marine found a trove of abandoned computer equipment in the garage, much of which had been destroyed, and called the FBI to take a look.

One of the new tenants — a Marine Corps veteran married to a female Navy Officer — said he found “wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner.”

The tenants called the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and, not long after, FBI agents arrived together with the Capitol Police to interview them and confiscate the equipment. The Marine spoke on condition of anonymity because of concerns for his wife’s naval career, saying she doesn’t want to be associated with a national security incident.

“It was in the garage. They recycled cabinets and lined them along the walls. They left in a huge hurry,” the Marine said. “It looks like government-issued equipment. We turned that stuff over.”

For those who have managed to avoid this story, Imran was first employed in 2004 by former Democrat Rep. Robert Wexler (FL) as an “information technology director”, before he began working in Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s office in 2005.

The family was paid extremely well, with Imran Awan being paid nearly $2 million working as an IT support staffer for House Democrats since 2004. Abid Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, were each paid more than $1 million working for House Democrats. In total, since 2003, the family has collected nearly $5 million.

The staffer’s services were so important to congressional members, that on March 22, 2016, eight democrat members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence issued a letter, requesting that their staffers be granted access to Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). Of those that signed the letter were representatives Jackie Speier (CA) and Andre Carson (IN), the second Muslim in Congress, both of whom employed the Awan brothers.

The brothers were also employed by members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, such as: Jackie Speier (D-CA), Andre Carson (D-IN), Joaquín Castro (D-TX), Lois Frankel (D-FL), Robin Kelly (D-IL), and Ted Lieu (D-CA). Lieu has since openly called for leaks by members of President Trump's administration despite the fact that he may until recently have been under surveillance by a foreign entity.

One bombshell that has been all but ignored by the main stream media is that Imran Awan had access to Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s iPad password, meaning that the brothers also had direct access to the notorious DNC emails.

The brothers are accused of removing hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment from congressional offices, including computers and servers, while also running a procurement scheme in which they bought equipment, then overcharged the House administrative office that assigns such contractors to members.

Some congressional technology aides believe that the Awan’s are blackmailing representatives based on the contents of their emails and files, due to the fact that these representatives have displayed unwavering and intense loyalty towards the former aides.

Of course, if Republicans and/or members of the Trump administration hired foreign-born IT specialists who were suspected of committing a laundry list of federal crimes and then smashed a bunch of hard drives just before skipping town...we're sure the media would still gloss right over it in much the same way they're doing for the the Democrats in this instance.

So the head of the DNC had a Muslim Brotherhood IT group from Pakistan, who Dems requested be given access to top secret data, then payed them $millions$who shortly after Hillary lost, destroyed government hard drives, and who are now on the run, in hiding, refusing to cooperate, all after the DNCs email server was "hacked by Russians" colluding with Trump? I'm convinced, we're all characters in a bad Sci Fi novel, nothing is true....

Right.  The fact they just left the stuff sitting there tells me this is a story about billing fraud rather than any spy stuff.I and the people in my circle of acquaintances all tend to use the same professionals, because we recommend them to each other.  My roofer has gotten a lot of work through me, as have my accountant, tax lawyer, chiropractor, auto mechanic, and general repair guy.  I use other services on recommendation from people I know. However, we're not dealing with sensitive information, nor is there opportunity for fraudulent billing.I don't mean to minimize this.  It's bad enough on the surface, without indulging in making stuff up.  Just as what we learned from the Podesta e-mails is bad enough without making up stories of satanic pedophilia.  And the fact that Hillary hasn't been indicted and won't be because what she did is perfectly lawful is far worse and far more dangerous to America than all the made-up horror stories being passed around the way 6th grade girls scare each other at sleepovers.Reality is tawdry enough.  We don't need to put garbage on top of poop (or whatever would be the opposite of the expression, "to gild the lily.")

I've only ever gambled that which I was willing to lose.I don't say these things to be popular, or to attract downvotes.  I say them because I believe the facts of our situation are cause enough for grave concern.  To add clickbait melodrama to the mess helps nothing, distracts from the real issues, and makes things worse overall. What's killing America isn't unpunished criminality in high places nearly so much as it is the unethical, immoral, amoral and evil activity that has been explicity made perfectly lawful.

Moar H1-B visas american bitches! Bring into your house more 3rd-world habits, customs, practices, morals and social stereotypes, guess where this multicultural *professional* enrichment process is going to lead, huh, ..., huh, I guess Jung's scientific work which was good for decades has become suddenly invalid due to the advent of the 'Frankfurt School' and left fascist driven political correctness, read Jung's work and you'll understand why multiculturalism is doomed to never, ever, work ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungian_archetypes

I'd be more convinced about the pedophilia if there were even the slightest bit of evidence that led anywhere.  Everything I've seen came out of 4chan or Reddit groups.  And the crazy guy with the gun discovered there's nothing untoward in the basement of Comet Ping Pong.I can utterly loathe what the Bushes and Clintons brought us to, continued by Obama (Clinton's 3rd and 4th terms) and now being carried forward as parody by the Current Occupant, based on evil behavior that's right out in the open and uncontested.Like, for instance, the fact that Congress is tearing itself apart arguing over how best to bail out the healthcare finance system yet again, but not blinking an eye at spending over $1 Trillion per year on the War Machine (including all the different Departments that comprise such spending, and the Wars of Empire themselves, which are special appropriations above and beyond budgeting). If pedophiles really are running the world, you'd think somebody other than Marc Dutroux would have spilled the beans by now, and some of Dutroux's assertions might have panned out.But what we can all see happening all around us, without even needing to look for evidence, is the real problem we face.

Almost all of campaign finance as done today had to be specifically legalized.  All the NSA surveillance is unlawful in spirit, but now allowed by law.  The various techniques of using private corporations to carry out actions specifically forbidden to government agencies.  For instance, Snowden didn't work for the NSA; he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton.  Therefore what he was doing wasn't unlawful, because only the government is specifically banned from doing what he was paid to do all day every day.  The use of Blackwater and Dyncorp employees to carry out torture and kidnapping for the CIA and other.  Legislative insider trading.  Myriad forms of tax evasion.  Everything that happened on Wall Street bringing on the 2008 collapse. The list goes on and on.  It's been found to be lawful over and over and over again.  That's the real problem.  Now that what used to be considered corruption is perfectly acceptable by law, the disconnect between moral behavior and lawful behavior nears completion.

And hell, let's face it, that is just the short list ...Yeah, they make legal as they do with the debt money system, by fiat ..Lot's of "Orwellian" laws, with lofty names, to codify into law what was , in the not so distant past, unconscionable, so utterly far removed from founding principles, theory, economy, the nation is barely recognizable from a mere short time ago ..Of course all the "razzle dazzle" , the technocratic fog, frog in the pot, blatant corruption, theft, usurpations, replaced and headlined with fake news, a.k.a. .gov / corporate media sponsored propaganda, so utterly bereft of fact, rationality, logic, not to mention anything close to and or resembling true wisdom, principled statesmanship ..Now put that together with Clapper and Brennan recent remarks ..The standard today is a double standard, that which is codified into law, the "system" as it is presently configured ..An obvious case in point, a failure to prosecute the likes of Corzine, Clinton Inc, Many others, a failure of "Just Us) dept, to prosecute individuals under Sarbanes Oxley, RICCO statutes, a preference towards non prosecution agreements for big players, no admissions of guilt, NO individual or personal responsibility nor accountability ... at a certain, how shall we say, systemically important level ...

My reason for thinking this story sounds odd is how this house was rented to this person without it being cleaned out first. What kind of property owner doesnt do a walkthrough with their new tenant? And what kind of property manager leaves a pile of seemingly broken shit sitting around in the house for the new tenant to deal with? Having been on both sides of that equation in my life, I don't see how this happened. No one else thinks it odd that an owner or property manager left all this shit in the house for the new tenant to deal with? Not like this is some kind of slumlord type place either, I'm sure it was pricey.

There is another story that the drives were seized INTACT...THEN SMASHED after the fact.

Reports of the FBI seizing computer hard drives form the home of the congressional IT director and aide of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz are accurate, according to FBI sources: with the exception of one major detail. The computer hard drives were not damaged when they were confiscated, FBI sources said.

The FBI, who is working in some capacity to assist with the Capitol Police on the Awan investigation, confirm the hard drives and other computer equipment have been damaged but are pointing the finger at the Capitol Police’s chain of custody with the evidence. The FBI, they said, would not damage evidence and stressed if someone went to the trouble of destroying evidence before a seizure they normally would discard of it as well, federal sources said.

Capitol Police officials would not respond to requests for comment.

Ain't it funny how these "ubermenschen" with their magic muppet up in the sky always get caught in the biggest taqqiya scams? Well actually, no... ;) But you get my point. They don't even do their crimes properly. She should make some statement. Like, with a hammer? Illery already used cloth ;)And yes, As European. That is getting on my nerves too. Mueller... Is this guppy muppet going to take years searching for irrelevant skeletons in closets? Junior did fine. The American taxpayers will pay, Mueller must think. Trump can't fire him because of public opinion. A powerful tool, I admit. Who needs facts and law when you have public opinion. But I see it for what it is. A witch hunt. What's next? Trump needs to bag his pee? It might contain sensitive information the Russians can obtain? Even can prove collusion? The fact they are widening their scope says it all. They don't have much on Trump. So they try to discredit the ones around him. I enjoy your input.  It's why I know you agree with me when I say these idiots need to get over themselves. How many times can a person shoot itself in the foot?

And if nothing turns up after 9 months of digging for pure worthless shit on the Donald, just keep looking, dig up Mar A Lago with bulldozers, then see about his sons, son in laws, daughters, daughters in law, other extended family members, then go back 15 or 20 years, then his wife, ex wives, ex wives husbands, close friends, close frineds wives,.........dig up the foundation of Trump Tower. Congress and the powers that be, have nothing better to do evidently.   Pass more restrictions on the EU, Russia, China, et al. EIGHT years to dig for some nonsense on Donald and unlimited resources. But never examine the known DIM criminal behaviors.
