Al Gore's Climate Film Flops - Earth Temps Cooler Now Than When He Won Nobel Prize

Climate alarmist Al Gore's second film, ‘An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power’ failed to resonate with Americans.

The documentary dropped to 18th over the August 11-13 weekend grossing under $2.3 million since its August 04 release.

Media corporation Viacom pushed the film onto its 700 million subscribers with “An Inconvenient Week” starting July 31, with many of its networks promoting the film. Its support for Gore’s film included an MTV town hall event with the former politician. Two days before the week-long promotion began, Viacom’s blog posted “Four Reasons to Go See Al Gore’s Hopeful, Compelling” film in which it called Gore a “climate change folk hero.”

Earlier this week, President Trump signed an executive order that would streamline the approval process for American infrastructure projects by eliminating the climate change bureaucracy enacted by the Obama administration.

Back in 2012, President Trump spoke his mind about global warming:

President Trump’s view on global warming is a climate skeptic which has enraged the believers.

In our view, climate change is just big business just ask Al Gore, whose net worth in 2000 was $700k, and now it’s almost $200 million.

Back to Gore’s movie flop: ‘An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power’...

The chart below could be the key in understanding why the documentary has utterly failed even with a Viacom pump.

According to @BigJoeBastardi at earth’s temps are cooler now than when Al Gore won the noble prize.

So, why is the global rise in temperatures so worrisome?

For one thing, as temperatures rise good farmland will become desert (e.g., dust-bowl conditions will probably return to the American Midwest).

Another major problem is sea-level rise.

Have a look at

The U.S. Geological Survey people claim that;

The Greenland ice sheet melting will raise sea-level 6.55 meters (21.5 feet),
the West Antarctica ice sheet melting will raise sea-level 8.06 meters (26.4 feet),
the East Antarctica ice sheet melting will raise sea-level 64.8 meters (212.6 feet),
and all other ice melting will raise sea-level 0.91 meters (3 feet).

For a grand total of about 80 meters (263 feet).

So, what does an 80 meter (263 feet) rise in sea-level mean. Have a look at the following map of the world after an 80 meter rise. It means that over one billion people will have to be resettled to higher ground and that much of the most productive agricultural land will be under water. Fortunately, at current rates, the Greenland ice sheet will take over a thousand years to melt and the Antarctica ice sheet, much longer. However, the greater the temperature rise the faster the ice sheets will melt, bringing the problem much closer. Remember, the huge ice sheet that recently covered much of North America, almost completely melted in only 15,000 years (today, only the Greenland ice sheet, and some other small patches of it, remain). Since then (15,000 years ago), sea-levels have risen about 125 meters (410 feet), only 80 meters to go.

The ice sheets have been continuously melting for thousands of years. What is left of them today, is still melting, and will continue to melt. Human caused global warning will cause this remnant to melt significantly faster. This is a big, big, problem.

For HUGE detailed maps of the "World after the Melt" go to:

Global temperatures are increasing. And by quite a lot each year.

2016 is the hottest year on record for global temperatures.

This is 0.0380 degrees centigrade hotter than the previous record year which was 2015.

0.0380 is a large increase in just one year.

2015 was the hottest year (at that time) for global temperatures.

This was 0.1601 degrees hotter than the previous record year which was 2014.

0.1601 is an absolutely huge increase in just one year (at this rate temperatures would increase by 16 degrees in a century).

2014 was the hottest year (at that time) for global temperatures.

This was 0.0402 degrees hotter than the previous record year which was 2010.

The conspiracy to hide global warming data.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is given tax money to make global temperature records available to the public. However, certain people at NOAA continually sabotage this aspect of NOAA's mandate. For example, these people have (deliberately) sabotaged the web-page that delivers the temperature records.

Look for yourself:

Go to the page: scroll down to the The Global Anomalies and Index Data section and click the download button and see what happens. Well, you get the message:

"Not Found. The requested URL /monitoring-references/faq/anomalies-download was not found on this server."

I guess that the 2017 data must be truly horrible if they have to hide it away.

That pose is appropriate. I imagine that's what the farmers looked like in their tractor convoy before we hit them from above Billy's 10,000 ft hard deck. I shouldn't be too critical though. Look at how much the Muslim world loves us since we took sides with them in their 700 year fued and pounded those Serbian Christians that got sick of being murdered/assassinated and tried to fight back, you know, like we do but on a much smaller scale.

Al Gore's Climate Film Flops - Earth Temps Cooler Now Than When He Won Nobel PrizeMy response: ROFL!!!! On a more serious note, the Solar Hibernation cycle has begun. The earth is about to enter a sustained period of cooling for the next 25 years or so.Look it up for yourself under the search tag 'solar hibernation'. A lot of very valid, tursted scientific data now available.BOTTUM LINE: BUY AGRICULTURE because FOOD PRICES are about to go UP a LOT!!!

Nice try Joe B. Good luck considering Joe Bastardi your data source for anything climate related, he's the biggest hack out there.  July 2017 was the second warmest July ON RECORD.… more digestable format…

So.... after Trump's landslide win in both the electoral and popular vote... Americans are not flocking to Al Gore's propaganda flick. What WILL the illumi-nutty do when they realize the majority KNOWS it's the majority and they're not buying the Globalist "news" .... the rubes are not being effectively manipulated? The horror...I've received several "questionaires" from the RINOs lately. I write across them in Magic Marker, "If you want my money, respect our president and support him. PS John McShame needs to retire so you can REPEAL the ACA w/no 'replacement' ", then send 'em back to the CONgress critters. I even use my own stamp.

Why aren't they paying protestors to go see Manbearpig? Too busy erasing history to care about our future? Someone, please, think of the children! /sarc

I don't take people like him seriously. He's like MDB, who miraculously happens to be on the other side of every single argument.I find myself never fully agreeing or disagreeing with anyone, or quite often agreeing on observations, but drawing different conclusions. People who are on ZH and are anti-ZH are too "anti" to be real. Think they're just bored, using internet anonymity to entertain themselves. Those people, somehow, exist on every forum in every thread. They nest in a community and for them rejection is a form of acceptance. Like pets, who bite their owners, to get yelled at, perceiving it merely as "attention". That is all they want - attention, to compensate for the real life full of neglect and inability to attact people through positive exchange of ideas.

There are two issues here - pollution and climate change - and they may have little to do with each other.  No one denies that pollution is driven by human activity and is harmful to both health, property and the environment in general and should be curtailed.  We can all agree that polluters are trespassers.

Climate change comprised of warming and cooling has been around as long as the earth has had a climate and is driven by solar activity and the molten matter beneath the earth's crust.  To now attribute climate change to human carbon dioxide generating activity is to introduce dangerous speculation based on computer model projections decades into the future.  This will lead to the "science is settled" calls for global taxation and central planning powers to curb CO2 emissions.

Ernst Georg Beck cataloged REAL-time CO2 measurements going back 200 years and PROVED with those measurements that "global warming" is a LIE.  He PROVED that in periods of increased industrial output (and hence more CO2 output), the weather got colder, not warmer.  The FACT that CO2 levels are driven by temperature changes and do not CAUSE temperature changes is an accepted scientific fact.  The planet warms first, and 800 to 1000 years later, CO2 levels rise.

Scientific studies conducted 100 years ago proved CO2 was ineffectual as a greenhouse gas. The AVERAGE climate for the planet is MUCH warmer and MUCH wetter than it is now. The climate we are experiencing in this era is COLDER and DRIER than Earth's average climate. The AVERAGE CO2 level for about the last 500 MILLION years has been 1600 ppm, FOUR TIMES the present level. NOT by coincidence, 1600 PPM is OPTIMUM for plant life and hence ANIMAL life and OUR life.

We have too long allowed ourselves to be manipulated by fear into allowing the state's self-serving "experts" into frightening us into the never ending wars on drugs and terrorism for the benefit of the industries profiting from these unwinnable wars.  The war on climate change - a war on what the earth has been doing for eons - will be a forever war justifying the micro management by a vast, bureaucracy of all human activity.  Welcome to the Soviet Union on steroids!  If the "science is settled" crowd is wrong and the earth's climate keeps changing, will they voluntarily give up their unlimited taxing and planning powers?  Nope.  As always central planning failures lead to demands for more money and power.  Is this what we want?

Now that I agree with: anytime anything happens there will be a line-up of charlatans and Mountebanks waiting to try and make a buck arguing whether or not it is happening...Speaking of which: Chup, would it be too much to ask for credible confirmation of Mr.Beck's sure 'nough PROOF, or is the irrefutable evidence disproving the accuracy of the generally accepted Mauna-Lao record secretly contained in your use of all-caps?

At some point in the last couple of decades 1st world nations began to run out of oil as well as depleting other finite fossil fuel sources. They went into a gradual decline, as reflected in the overall economy - manufacturing, salaries, standard of living etc. At the same time, 3rd world, which often produced enough to meet its own needs, or had sufficient manufacturing exports to meet energy import demands leapt forward. The 1st world (the West) realized that progression of such imbalance would eventually put them into dependence. They would loose the economic battle to the 3rd world. I believe that's when the whole carbon emissions hysteria began. They don't care if carbon warms the planet up or cools it down. Warming sounded scarier, so the pitched it first, before renaming it to "climate change" (as if it ever stays static). The attempt to tax carbon is a move to control developing nations or anyone who has energy superiority. In an industrial world, everything still runs on carbon based fuel. Tax carbon and automatically, you're taxing the winners to satisfy the losers (us). It's a Western attempt to get a grip on Asia, Russia and every other place not yet collapsing under the weight of its own deficits. It is a way to control producers, consumers of oil and industrialists. A carefully crafted and gradually implemented control agenda and a narrative. Something to put into kids heads, so that they don't raise their voice decades later when the ICBM's start flying in the name of world peace, justice and apple pie.

People are tired of hearing about climate change, when in fact, no climate change exists.  Academics are going to have to think up some other scare tactic to get their massive grants.
