Pat Buchanan Asks "In This Second American Civil War - Whose Side Are You On?"

Authored by Patrick Buchanan via Townhall.com,

"They had found a leader, Robert E. Lee -- and what a leader! ... No military leader since Napoleon has aroused such enthusiastic devotion among troops as did Lee when he reviewed them on his horse Traveller."

So wrote Samuel Eliot Morison in his magisterial "The Oxford History of the American People" in 1965.

First in his class at West Point, hero of the Mexican War, Lee was the man to whom President Lincoln turned to lead his army. But when Virginia seceded, Lee would not lift up his sword against his own people, and chose to defend his home state rather than wage war upon her.

This veneration of Lee, wrote Richard Weaver, "appears in the saying attributed to a Confederate soldier, 'The rest of us may have ... descended from monkeys, but it took a God to make Marse Robert.'"

Growing up after World War II, this was accepted history.

Yet, on the militant left today, the name Lee evokes raw hatred and howls of "racist and traitor." A clamor has arisen to have all statues of him and all Confederate soldiers and statesmen pulled down from their pedestals and put in museums or tossed onto trash piles.

What has changed since 1965?

It is not history. There have been no great new discoveries about Lee.

What has changed is America herself. She is not the same country. We have passed through a great social, cultural and moral revolution that has left us irretrievably divided on separate shores.

And the politicians are in panic.

Two years ago, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe called the giant statues of Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson on Richmond's Monument Avenue "parts of our heritage."

After Charlottesville, New York-born-and-bred McAuliffe, entertaining higher ambitions, went full scalawag, demanding the statues be pulled down as "flashpoints for hatred, division, and violence."

Who hates the statues, Terry? Who's going to cause the violence?

Answer: The Democratic left whom Terry must now appease.

McAuliffe is echoed by Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam, the Democratic candidate in November to succeed McAuliffe. GOP nominee Ed Gillespie wants Monument Avenue left alone.

The election is the place to decide this, but the left will not wait.

In Durham, North Carolina, our Taliban smashed the statue of a Confederate soldier. Near the entrance of Duke University Chapel, a statue of Lee has been defaced, the nose broken off.

Wednesday at dawn, Baltimore carried out a cultural cleansing by taking down statues of Lee and Maryland Chief Justice Roger Taney who wrote the Dred Scott decision and opposed Lincoln's suspension of the right of habeas corpus.

Like ISIS, which smashed the storied ruins of Palmyra, and the al-Qaida rebels who ravaged the fabled Saharan city of Timbuktu, the new barbarism has come to America. This is going to become a blazing issue, not only between but within the parties.

For there are 10 Confederates in Statuary Hall in the Capitol, among them Lee, Georgia's Alexander Stephens, vice president to Jefferson Davis, and Davis himself. The Black Caucus wants them gone.

Mount Rushmore-sized carvings of Lee, Jackson and Davis are on Stone Mountain, Georgia. Are they to be blasted off?

There are countless universities, colleges and high schools like Washington & Lee named for Confederate statesmen and soldiers. Across the Potomac from D.C. are Jefferson Davis Highway and Leesburg Pike to Leesburg itself, 25 miles north. Are all highways, streets, towns and counties named for Confederates to be renamed? What about Fort Bragg?

On every Civil War battlefield, there are monuments to the Southern fallen. Gettysburg has hundreds of memorials, statues and markers. But if, as the left insists we accept, the Confederates were traitors trying to tear America apart to preserve an evil system, upon what ground do Democrats stand to resist the radical left's demands?

What do we do with those battlefields where Confederates were victorious: Bull Run, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville?

"Where does this all end?" President Trump asked.

It doesn't.

Not until America's histories and biographies are burned and new texts written to Nazify Lee, Jackson, Davis and all the rest, will a newly indoctrinated generation of Americans accede to this demand to tear down and destroy what their fathers cherished.

And once all the Confederates are gone, one must begin with the explorers, and then the slave owners like Presidents Washington, Jefferson and Madison, who seceded from slave-free Britain. White supremacists all.

Andrew Jackson, Henry Clay of Kentucky and John Calhoun must swiftly follow.

Then there are all those segregationists. From 1865 to 1965, virtually all of the great Southern senators were white supremacists.

In the first half of the 20th century, Woodrow Wilson and FDR carried all 11 states of a rigidly segregationist South all six times they ran, and FDR rewarded Dixie by putting a Klansman on the Supreme Court.

While easy for Republicans to wash their hands of such odious elements as Nazis in Charlottesville, will they take up the defense of the monuments and statues that have defined our history, or capitulate to the icon-smashers?

In this Second American Civil War, whose side are you on?

Civil War pits brother against brother.

Ordo Ab Chao.

Exactly what the Criminal Deep State Hq in Israel via Operation TALPIOT & The Yinon Plan expect & desire.

What they'll receive is a Revolution.

Which will wipe the World of the Pure Evil Flith, Agents & Operatives that have usurped our Electoral System.

It truly is amateur night at the Criminal Deep State.

This is merely a feeble attempt at taking Trumps response out of conrptext then formulate a False Narrative Script around a Psychological Operation to Gas Light the masses into illiciting a response of Anger, Divide & Hate.

Who's on tolerant liberal Rosie's side? Longtime Trump nemesis Rosie O’Donnell was one of the first to tweet about the news, telling Bannon: “Shove a tiki torch up your ass.”

They are even sneakier than that. Trump is obviously also NWO. He was their plan B. The American people made Hillary too much of a liability for them to be able to maintain the illusion of legitimacy. If they lose the illusion of legitimacy they lose it all.Instead of volutarily giving the NWO everything they want, Americans basically said to the NWO, "Let's do this the hard way." Whereas, the French basically said to the NWO, "We Surrender."

As a middle aged Duke Alum, I have always been amused at the 'new Duke'....post circa 1990.  For those of you who are not familiar, the new Duke began when a certain feminist President who decided that the old names of the dormitories were way too 'anglosaxon'.  In my Day, we had had dorm names as Hampton, Wannamaker, York, Buchanan, Braughton, Quadrangles like Few and Kilgo.  I am not sure what these same dorms are called today, but the last time I was there in 2011, all had been renamed.  Naturally, the fraternities that populated the west campus had to go.  We certainly don't want white male priviledge showing up.  Today the university is a hot bed of liberal 'snowflake' culture.  The only thing that has survived the 1970's is a still successful athletic culture with many teams such as the basketball and lacrosse teams winning national championships in recent years.  I am sure as hell happy that I went there in the 1970's. The funny thing is that Duke was built with old 'tabbaco money.'  The university is certainly doing its best to rid itself of its history.  Folks, it's really just Marxism.  History is just rewritten to convince the young and naive that they live in the perfect society.  Children, do not look under the covers and pop the hood!  You just may find the truth you are looking for in your quest for perfection.

In all honesty, this country was founded on racism. The Constitution originally counted a black man as 3/5 of a person. It was unconstitutional for blacks, along with half the U.S. population (women) to vote. Under the U.S. Constitution, European Americans were allowed to murder Native Americans in order to take their land. This was backed, and, in many cases, paid for by the Federal Government. Indigenous Americans had far few Constitutional rights than the white Europeans. The Federal Government, owned by the military-industrial-complex, is continually using taxpayer money to slaughter and/or exploit, along racial and religious lines, Asians (gooks), mestizo Latin Americans and Arabs (sand niggers). Many of the same white leftists that decry racism are at the forefront of those who wish to blow up brown Middle Easterners. So destroying statues will not change America's institutionalized racist history and ongoing racist policies, it will only serve to hide them behind a veil of hypocrisy. In the end, all of us, regardless of race, are little more than human livestock to the plutocrats who own and rule this divided, conquered and occupied country.

Ominous choices, us versus them, like a log split nicely down the middle. Emotions high and reason low, we follow into a dark tunnel and refuse to see light.

Why are we so willing to play along with their game? There is much of America free from these confrontations and divisions. Where the neighbors are friendly and the living is peaceful.

If a few million people want to slug it out, out of over 300 million, why should we care? Why would you vote in such a corrupt system? Is not our time better spent in our own communities? Creating our own black market economies? Using our own currency? Has complaining about politicians ever changed their quality?

When did love and compassion go out of style? Where has tolerance fled?

The cities have always been cesspools of greed and crime, there has just been a froth of imbecility and social justice whipped up on top. If you lay down with filth you will get fleas or worse.

Buchanan is working up a group, this is all. Are any of the elites worth the blood of your family or friends?

You cannot conduct a war without soldiers and the elites never play the soldier. It is the rejection of their game, in all its' forms, where the road to light provides a path.

Because the winner of this fight is going to start making laws and policies that will eventually show up in your peaceful community. Wait until your son can't get a job because he is the wrong gender or skin color. I just heard (unconfirmed) that Rex Tillerson stated that the DOJ should just declare race quotas and be done with it. This means that jobs are now assigned not on merit but on skin color. Does anyone think this is a superior way to determine who should get a job?

Do you really think there is a winner in a civil war?

As Rex Tillerson has zero influence in this area, the concern is meaningless. Further, why do you think jobs will be determined by law and regulation? I can hire anyone for cash (or equivalent). As can your community.

You cannot "win" against a power structure which has been command for millenia and sees us as mere slave stock. Now there are no places to "escape" to, as the world has filled up, so we can stand and stay loyal to our beliefs or attempt another governing structure- which will fail.

Never take what your enemy gives you...we have the power to say no...at a cost, perhaps great cost, but what is the price of liberty in a slave society? It's all fun and games until we are forced to sacrifice...

The reason is that they are Christians. The Christian religion teaches everyone to be Jesus' little sheep. Sheep are docile creatures. They do what they are told and when they are led to the slaughter they follow obediently. It's not because white people are white that they are being led silently to extinction. It is because all these white nations in Europe consist largely of populations in which significant numbers are Christian believers.

Yes, Mexico is by and large poor (that why they come here, right) and the US and other western countries still have some capital and technology that can be raped and stolen.  America is just an easy target.  The strategy was to slowly remove the wealth through taxation and regulation, not through violence.  White Americans naively 'bought the dream', and now they are confused as to why things are not working out.  Of course, they still want to mortgage their homes and borrow tens of thousands to 'go to an expensive college (see my post on Duke University above) because they still believe that the American dream exists!  Mexicans are by and large still street smart.  'Street smarts' have been bred out of whites.  They think their MBAs mean something.

Criticality I ask, how probable that major religion has taken this form? From the Nazorians ...and Sabians which fled Judea believers in Yeshua as a profit but not as the Saviour... Settling in Iraq bending under the night of the next major religion iteration... Isla m...and the history of how the former mentioned religion (t) was originally seated in Judea under the original followers such as Mary Magdalene and the apostles themselves...later highjacked by Rome and the power..and tidings... Shifted to bishops and their high archy ...actually fighting a war..and the war i...the schism...look it up... and the following Great Schism after Constantine.. where church was parted East orthodox and West.....and Inquisitions.. You all cant see the forest through the trees! The big picture is that Satan the Devil is the ruler of this world and his time is running out. We are very close to his and all his seed, followers end.. The earth's rulership has been given to Jesus Christ and has been ruling in the heavens since 1914 the start of WW1. There have been a great preaching campaign of God's Kingdom as a witness to all the nations as a warning, then the end of this wicked system will come Matt 24:14.There is a Creater and Supreme God, Jehovah, and all the nations will see his power one last time. 1.  Political self determination is a right. 2.  You have no rights you are not willing to assert, backing up that assertion with force if necessary.3.  The only system of government which allows the most people the most self-determination is a small republic.  IOW, this radical thing called "individual liberty". 4.  Wonderfully, this condition of maximized individual liberty is also the economic environment wherein humans are most productive and creative.5.  Collectivists of all stripes can't stand liberty, environmentalists can't stand productivity, and oligarchs can't stand the political independence of a large and prosperous middle class.6.  We are being forced towards a deadly confrontation with the collectivists who do not respect our rights, wherein it will be necessary to purge them.  See #2 above.

I am too lazy to edit this post, but since it is relevant...

Kikebart is about protecting the interests of Greater Israel, and has almost no concern for America First.

When they seem they are on your side, you have to examine whether they are just another factions with a different opinion on "what is best for the Jews".

When Bannon left, they went full Hasbara on the editorial direction and policing of the comments section. As a Jesuit, I assume Bannon was merely a moderating influence, not opposition to Israeli Propaganda. A lot of hard core Neocohens left BB over Trump, because he is alligned with Eastern Jews, instead of Western Jews. That was right after the Neocohen NRO piece and the faux scandal of Trump giving a beat down to a shabbos goy journalist, if you remember the story.
