"What The F*ck!": Rescued Woman Blasts CNN For Exploiting Hurricane Harvey Victims

Earlier today, CNN anchor Rosa Flores apparently chose the wrong mom to exploit in her futile effort to boost CNN ratings.

While it's unclear exactly what happened off-air in the moments leading up to this interview, it became clear very quickly that this "shivering cold" mother of two exhausted children had no appetite for Flores shoving a "microphone in her face" to get a couple of sound bites for Jim Acosta's show.

"We walked through four feet of water to get food on the first day.  Yeah, that’s a lot of shit.”

“But y’all sit here, y’all trying to interview people during their worst times — like that’s not the smartest thing to do. Like people are really breaking down and y’all sitting here with cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the fuck is wrong with us."

"And you really trying to understand with the microphone still in my face? With me shivering cold, with my kids wet, and you still putting the microphone in my face."

Not surprisingly, Kellyanne Conway immediately took to twitter to shame CNN for the failed interview.

Of course, even though Conway's tweet will be dismissed as a cheap shot, it does seem somewhat obvious from the jump that this mom is exhausted beyond belief and probably slightly more interested in finding some dry clothes for herself and her children than sharing her feelings with CNN.  That said, maybe we're just really good at picking up on subtle social cues...

Meanwhile, the whole episode left Jim Acosta noticeably 'triggered'...

It looked to me like she was standing there volunteering to be interviewed. So either she planned to get hysterical or she could not help herself. The reporter should have asked where the babies daddy was and why he did not come to rescue them. Instead it was all about the police and how they did not just magically show up???Kids are more resilliant than the adults. In a couple years she will be bragging about how she survived the flood and mom will still be bitter about the whole thing. I think people should not be suprised at what is going on. That area gets totally flattened by a hurricaine q 100 years.

Funny, even an indoctrinated mind can speak truth once in a while. USA is not a democracy – you’re right. It is country owned and ruled by capitalist (owners of capital – the original meaning of the term). The government of US is owned (by legal corruption/bribes of both parties), the MSM-media are privately owned, the monetary system is privately owned (by the private institution the FED), the MIC is comprised of privately owned intelligence, mercenary/security and weapons companies – well, everything is privately owned (=capitalist). If you had democracy (not just a theatre passing as one) you would also have “free independent media”, “independent education” and “independent elections” (no money involved and equal amount of “airtime” to all candidates). A prerequisite for a democracy is a well-informed and educated population. US has the opposite. I don’t think “communism” is the automatic result of democracy. But the ability to define communism – and other ideologies – is. The ignorance regarding ideologies is designed and very apparent on this site (it is always easy to guess who’s a US-indoctrinated plebs – just look at the corporate created empty language they use [created during the last 50 years of US fascism]). You are from US.

Media= Licensed by GOVT to operate.

Schools= run by GOVT propaganda commissars.

Federal reserve =operates under GOVT as a quasi govt entity enforced by the Legal Tender Act and Federal Reserve Acts.

The problem is not private ownership of anything. It's the notion of GOVT owning everything.

Right symptoms. Wrong disease vector.

Only in the false two-dimensional political "reality" force-fed the US plebs.

https://www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2016

US "elections" are a farce. Only the far right is represented. And the propaganda methods used in prior facsist regimes works the same way for this one. George Orwell was right. Newspeech is dominant on this site - corporate created vocabulary of nonsense, misnomers, half-truths and full lies...

I would not expect a US pleb to know anything about democracy. One more case to strengthen that expectation.

Yes, I can choose which definition I believe relates best to reality - or serves best at describing it. I can offer the one I currently see as the most relevant: an economic system based on the common, social and/or public ownership of the means of production - and an ideology that see a classless society as the goal of political change. Some communists argue for the need to take over the capitalist state through revolution and use it to transform society towards a communist society. Others (libertarian communists - yes, look it up) argues for the total dismantling of the capitalist state.

What is your definition of communism? In a democracy the best argument wins...
