UN Says Blacks In America Deserve Reparations, Ignores Entire History Of Slavery

Content originally published at iBankCoin.com

A recent report published by a U.N. commissioned organization concludes that America’s history of slavery justifies reparations for African Americans. The submission by the 'Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent' - which one might assume would study all 'People of African Descent' around the world, notably fails to opine on other nations which have engaged in the practice – considering that less than 10% of African slaves were brought to North America. Also absent from the report is the fact that arabs operated the slave trade for over 1300 years – a practice which continues to this day, primarily in India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Gulf states such as Saudi Arabia.

The group presented its findings on Monday, pointing to what they say is a “continuing link between present injustices and the dark chapters of American history, and recommended "Past injustices and crimes against African Americans need to be addressed with reparatory justice."

The report cites last year’s spate of blacks killed by police officers around the United States, which the panel says has created a “human rights crisis” that “must be addressed as a matter of urgency.”

“In particular, the legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality in the United States remains a serious challenge, as there has been no real commitment to reparations and to truth and reconciliation for people of African descent,” the report stated. “Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching.”

“Despite substantial changes since the end of the enforcement of Jim Crow and the fight for civil rights, ideology ensuring the domination of one group over another, continues to negatively impact the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of African Americans today,” it said in a statement. “The dangerous ideology of white supremacy inhibits social cohesion amongst the US population.”

What about the rest of the story?

Conspicuously absent from the U.N. report is the fact that the slavery in the United States was facilitated by 1300 years of Arab slave trade. According to Wikipedia:

Some historians assert that as many as 17 million people were sold into slavery on the coast of the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, and North Africa, and approximately 5 million African slaves were bought by Muslim slave traders and taken from Africa across the Red SeaIndian Ocean, and Sahara desert between 1500 and 1900.[5]

The captives were sold throughout the Middle East. This trade accelerated as superior ships led to more trade and greater demand for labour on plantations in the region. Eventually, tens of thousands of captives were being taken every year.[4][6][7]

Will this report pave the way for universal basic income for low income blacks in America?

Ignoring modern slave trade

Meanwhile, the U.N. has been quiet on the topic of countries which haven’t cracked down on the slave trade, including UN Human Rights Council member Saudi Arabia. There are an estimated 21 – 46 million slaves around the world today, with India dominating the top of the list.

Perhaps we can look forward to a followup report from the U.N. on reparations owed by the other 90% of the world which participated in the slave trade, as well as their thoughts on what’s owed to the 48 million modern slaves worldwide.

Every American who owned a slave should pay reparations to the slaves they owned. Decendants of slave owners and of slaves themselves need not apply.PS. Trump: exit the UN now!

Quit the worthless UN of grandstanders and kick them out of New York. Tell them to go set up shop in Riyadh, Mogadishu or maybe Harare, Zimbabwe.

4 of my grandfather's grandfathers fought on the Union side to free the damn slaves. Two of them took bullets during the war. They put it all on the line. What the fuck have niggers today ever done to deserve reparations? Nothing!Any pot of money for reparations needs to first go to the descendents of the men who actually fought to free the slaves. Not sure how much of the kitty will be left for the niggers by the time we get done paying descendents of Union Civil War vets though. But its all about making reparations to those who suffered most. And that would be the men who actually fought. And of course their descendents.

Anyone else ever notice its never Spain or Britain or Portugal or the Dutch (or yes, Arabs) that are scorned and ridiculed for slavery? What King Leopold II alone did to the blacks of the Congo on "his rubber plantations" merits Belgium ceasing to exist as a nation by bankrupting itself with reparations.

nobody should ever bring up reparations. Its far too tempting to turn around and demand of other racial groups their reparations for their criminal legacy and activities in civil society. Which by the way, is EXACTLY the argument
being provoked.

"Reparations" is simply a tool of failing, 20th century Bolshevik "identity politics" which is an attempt to subordinate the individual to the state, and to create hostile "blocks" that can manipulated into a civil war...think Russia 1914

The U.N. is nothing but a socialistic NWO endeavor, always has been operating under the guise of "fairness".There is nothing "fair" about imposing penalties on present populations for crimes committed by government's.And the U.N. is one of the worst present day offenders, the hypocrisy is staggering.

This is a perfect opportunity for the Ruskies to ask for reparation from the Federal Parasite Reserve. After all, the Fed parasites of those days funded the filthy Bolsheviks who sealed off the borders of Russia and murdered 100 million with impunity over a period of 70 years. The Federal Parasite Reserve should reimburse every living resident of Russia proper and its former SSR states with $1 million each. That's just for starters. They should then pay the same to surviving American military servicemen along with their grieving and anguished families, as well as foreign target families for all the wars they instigated for loot and plunder. That's where the Fed parasites get all their fancy clothes and flashy cars.Nest time you see them on TV all dolled up at some swanky shindig just remember they scammed it off taxpayers. We can all ask for reparations for that matter, and the Fed parasites have enough to pay out.And still keep their fancy clothes and flashy cars.

And I forgot to mention the French, all one has to do is look at the history of Haiti. They only gained their independence by basically slaughtering every Frenchman and/or "white man" they could find. I only single out euro-peons because of their constant America bashing but the friggin Hindi are no better in my eyes.

Talk of reparations or justice STOPS at US borders....the only recognition of US borders they will ever make. As you point out slavery and enumerable injustices go back as far as one dare look....and they won't because we all know why.....it will go back to some determination of original sin. Of course this does play into the progressive theme that all humans ARE the virus on the planet, but it helps to be able to FOCUS the hate. We make a damned good target.

The UN is globalism and globalism is anti-American, so we should not be shocked. They line up these progressive pins and then allow their elitist stooges to knock them down as some sort of proof of validity, The NFL is another....rich black athletes standing up for their oppressed peeps. Again and again they do this, all to build their false consensus, fake evidence that is validated by public opinion that THEY create. We can ignore it and pretend it will go away, or at the very least lag along until we are past it....but we know better, We can all sense the acceleration now occurring.

Yep they may be standing up, or kneeling, for their brothers but not a single one of them or their white apologists will set foot in the hood. Not a one of these idiots says a word about the thousands of black on black killings that happen every year. Plenty of black athletes and successful blacks who came from the hood claim they won't go back because they try to suck them back into the bullshit. Don't want to piss off the homies who will show up at their door and shoot their ass like the rappers do so go after white cops. Whites aren't the only ones kicking the can down the road. What they never tell you is plenty of those blacks being shot were shot by BLACK policemen. Juries add fuel to the fire when they aquit a cop who they have dead to rights murdering an unarmed person. The cop getting away with it pisses them off more than killing the guy.BLM is another one marching to address the black oppression thing. Amazing how they always march in white areas and never go near the hood. All they do is piss off the whites to their cause and collect millions from Soros. BLM collects millions which makes them an organization but a judge tossed out a lawsuit against them claiming they are a social movement.

All warnings are prescient. Timing is always the problem, and I think we can ALL see the future and spend most of our time trying to ignore it.It's called RISK, the thing our government spends all of its time reminding us of while simultaneously trying to convince us that because of them, is nothing to concern ourselves with....if we only give them more power, give them more of our independence and liberty.

While there is no doubt that slavery has been a dark stain on humanity in all recorded histories, and is perhaps the most 'inhuman' act of all, it has been recognised but not yet eliminated from the world.Reparations can only benefit the living who have been released from bondage and if is the case their immediate children and partner. From the charts above it appears that India is the priority in eliminating and reparing the damage done by slavery. But a free for all will ensue if any number of far distant relatives or even those of allied race or colour claim repartions.Consider that from ancient times through to the modern day it is probable that every living person can claim a link to enslaved peoples of the past and demand compensation. The Irish were enslaved by the English. Does it matter the manner of the bondage or that they were 'white' Celtic? Does it make them any less worthy of compensation than the peoples of the modern day Middle East or Africa? There were native North and South American peoples that enslaved other cultures. To whom and how do they make reparations? What of the Mexican attempts to enslave the North American peoples?Humanity requires as its highest priority that all countries abolish slavery where ever it still exists and make repartions to those living people and their immediate dependants. This does not automatically extend entitlement to those who may be 5, 10, 20 or 50 generations on who have no rightful or honest claim on the current generations.Beggar the present to repair the many, many injustices of the past can only lead to a much diminished future and compounds the error. To the UN, you no doubt mean well but a blanket directive to reparate all without question, benefit to the living, or good reason may salve your conscience and perhaps justify your actions and very existence but it is not at all helpful, weakens your standing and will be roundly ignored by most countries who at this time have some of the worst records of human trafficking and suffering. J. Bad shit happens, always has. We can try to do better but if we are going to dig up every skeleton and discover the original sin that perpetuated this mess, those instigators should think TWICE as it may well lead places they are not prepared to go. We know this is fraudulent because only a fool who believes they can control the narrative would ever instigate such a thing. Yes they have been working for decades writing their back story, rewriting history to their prescriptions, but this is a very dangerous route.

Whites enslaving blacks for the most part ended a long time ago. Blacks enslaving blacks has been going on for a long time and is still going strong. They may not be picking cotton or down on the plantation but black leaders like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and their ilk keep the people under their thumb by blaming everything that happens to them on whitey. When the black crooks come up for election the freebees they gave their constituants, after they skimmed a considerable portion for themselves, made sure the votes were there. Somehow Jessie's kids were awarded the most lucrative beer distributership on the east coast. When blacks like Bill Cosby and Charles Barkley stand up and tell the truth about the blacks causing their own problems they get stomped on.What many fail to realize is where there are large numbers of blacks there is also a black power structure. When Martin Luther King went to LA to help quell the riots there the local black leaders litteraly ran him out of town. They didn't want their meal tickets, I mean blacks, freed. You can bet the current black leaders in Chicago, LA, Baltimore, and elsewhere don't give a crap if the blacks are killing each other. It gives the local leaders more power when the blacks riot and kill as whitey kisses their ass and throws money and perks at them hoping they will get a lid on the problem which they won't unless it threatens to bring their gravy train to an end. In Milwaukee a few years ago the local paper had a black bitch who was on the county board dead to rights stealing money appropriated for programs for black people in her area. The story was swept under the rug and the bitch was PROMOTED to head the county board.
