Salma Hayek Says Harvey Weinstein Threatened Her Life: "I Will Kill You, Don't Think I Can't"

Actress Salma Hayek has penned a chilling essay in the New York Times claiming Harvey Weinstein threatened to kill her in a terrifying "attack of fury."

"...with every refusal came Harvey’s Machiavellian rage.

I don’t think he hated anything more than the word “no.” The absurdity of his demands went from getting a furious call in the middle of the night asking me to fire my agent for a fight he was having with him about a different movie with a different client to physically dragging me out of the opening gala of the Venice Film Festival, which was in honor of “Frida,” so I could hang out at his private party with him and some women I thought were models but I was told later were high-priced prostitutes.

The range of his persuasion tactics went from sweet-talking me to that one time when, in an attack of fury, he said the terrifying words, “I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.”

Hayek, 51, details the repeated advances she says Weinstein made while working with him on the film Frida, in which she played Mexican artist Frida Kahlo:

"No to opening the door to him at all hours of the night, hotel after hotel, location after location, where he would show up unexpectedly, including one location where I was doing a movie he wasn’t even involved with.

No to me taking a shower with him.

No to letting him watch me take a shower.

No to letting him give me a massage.

No to letting a naked friend of his give me a massage.

No to letting him give me oral sex.

No to my getting naked with another woman.

No, no, no, no, no …"

Weinstein allegedly threatened to shut down the filming of Frida unless Hayek filmed a nude sex scene with another actress.

"I had to take a tranquilizer, which eventually stopped the crying but made the vomiting worse," she wrote of her emotional turmoil at filming a scene she thought unnecessary, adding "As you can imagine, this was not sexy, but it was the only way I could get through the scene."

Mr. Weinstein's spokeswoman, Holly Baird, has disputed Hayek's account, saying in a statement: "Mr. Weinstein does not recall pressuring Salma to do a gratuitous sex scene with a female costar and he was not there for the filming."

Hayek joins a list of 84 women who have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment or assault, including Rose McGowen, Ashley Judd, Gwyneth Paltrow and Daryl Hannah. Weinstein has denied any criminal behavior, suggesting in a statement through an attorney "it is wrong and irresponsible to conflate claims of impolitic behavior or consensual sexual contact later regretted, with an untrue claim of criminal conduct.

Because blocking a doorway to force a woman watch you masturbate into a soup pot is simply impolitic.

Salma has had "Fuck you Weinstein" money for quite awhile now, it's taken a long time for her to come forward...... Sad to think that a guy who looks like a chewed-up piece of gum rolled in pickle hair had access to this fine piece,  however we weren't buying tickets to her movies because of her acting chops-  swimming with the sharks until you marry a billionaire,  that's your life hon.   We all do our time.

well, let's see.  first there was the king david hotel bombing, then there was the lavon affair, then the u.s.s. liberty, then the 1983 bombing of US Marines in Beiruit, an Israeli mossad false flag… worst single day for the marines since iwo, then there was the '93 truck bombing of the wtc (not likely to bring down the building, which it didn't) to assist a 9-11 enabling upgrade of wtc "security" ( there was 9-11.  out of the blue.  done by nineteen arabs with box cutters.  had their names and photos two days later.  and the passport of one of the hijackers on the plane.  had to fight six wars in the next fifteen years, kill two million people, make six million homeless, spend six trillion dollars.  now we know why.Shame there was no-one there to sort this shit out sooner...But everywhere else has all sorts of anti-murder and treason laws and so on.What went wrong?

As if women who spend their lives making movies, watching movies, talking and thinking about movies, or aspiring to make movies that are much nastier and graphic than anything they have accused harvey of, were really offended by his behavior. As if they did not all regularly attended drug fueled parties, or aspire to, where much more bizarre behavior was common place, praised, and desired.

"Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will give donations her political campaigns received from Harvey Weinstein to charity, she told CNN in an interview Wednesday."Now there is a low quality attempt at misdirection if I ever read one. "Clinton has known Weinstein for years, and received at least $17,400 directly from him. Federal Election Commission records show. But that doesn't include ways Weinstein has indirectly contributed to her political ambitions. During the 2016 election cycle, Weinstein hosted a fundraiser at his New York home for Clinton's joint fundraising committee, the Hillary Victory Fund. About 60 people attended, contributing at least $33,400 per person."Thats over $2,000,000. In just 2016. Alone. For just that single...Harvey Weinstein catered event...Hillary.It appears that you may have to dip into your Uranium One Fund much sooner than you anticipated Hillary. I mean, this is all about you cleansing your soul of all monetary sin associated with Harvey Weinstein.Isn't it? ;-)

When you have to kill a humanoid cockroach just get it done Salma, it can't serve your purposes to talk about it or send warnings.Incidentally Salma has the best breasts in the business and the rest of her is not too shabby either.

She really must have wanted to play that commie bitch to get it on with Weinstein, they hate him because he reveals what attention whores they are.

"he used his power over me"

These broads put out because they wanted to be famous, nobody forced anybody, notice all the complainers are well past their prime and marketability for trading poon for parts.

So what.  These skanks had the kind of money that could have paid for services of other specialists that would have fed those Mossad agents to some pigs. Do you seriously think that Mossad is the tops? If you do, it is because that opinion is shaped by propaganda posing as entertainment, created in Hollywood.

Is this woman an adult?  Was she incapable of walking off the set?  Was she incapable of calling the police and/or her agent?  It appears she choose to put up with Weinstein for the money.

"consensual sexual contact later regretted"Oooooooh, that's good...really good !Gonna use that line..."...hey darling, come over for my place for some consensual contact not later regretted.""At which point the defense attorney asked "are you sure that was rape, Ms. McGowan, or could it have been consensual sexual contact leter regretted ?"I wonder if there is an opposite to that ? Non-consensual contact later approved ? These fucking lawyers are some characters. Can't much blame Harvey for pulling out the stops n tgrying to get Salma in the sack, she is absolutely gorgeoso ! Like, who wouldn't ? She'd cure the gay out of a gay guy !

They all had sex with him, don't let them say they didn't.  And the ones that say they did say the timidly had it and regretted it, yea right.  They know damn well that they knew if they didn't go along with Harvey they would be black balled.  I bet anything that all those times she said no where really yes and the reason why she was so frustrated and needed to take tranquilizers was the demands of having to be up there with Harvey doing all sorts of acts and she hated but needed to do it.Everyone knew that Harvey was the man that could make you and break you.  And you mean to tell me that almost every womans story is where they didn't do anything and if they did it was tepid or whatever?  No everyone of them put out including that reporter who said he masturbated in that restaurant and he demanded she watch.  Because she knew like all the rest that he could make or break anyone in the media.

Sure seems to be that way, or why have none of the prosecutors looking at the case been able to charge him  Probably because these women were as you say, willing to make the trade that they would regret later but needed then. Its amazing how many come out of the woodwork now. And many of them are very wealthy because harvey took care of them in his movies. How ungrateful these women are. If a fat and ugly female producer told guy actors she would make them wealthy by putting them in her films. on the condition they had to service her first, mostg guys would take one for the team, do the deed and smile all the way to the bank. Some of them may even like it. But none of them would complain that this woman made them wealthy by makng them do her. Its crazy how men think so much differently than women. Itgs time for more women producers in Hollywood.

This whole #METOO fad is metastasizing into an out of control comical juggernaut. It's amazing how these women suddenly find the courage to 'do the right thing and speak out' when there are legions of flashbulbs, cameras, and free media attention being avalanched onto the scene. Oh, and for the not-quite-so-famous amongst these noble creatures.....the scent of major settlement $$$$$ being flung around. But no....that's sexist of me. Women are paragons of pure innocent virtue....because vagina.

Now that Trump is Prez, they all finally feel safe enuff to come out and say what happened to them ... all within Trump's first year.  That's how safe they feel with Prez Trump.  Thank goodness Trump got in, otherwise they'd all still be silently shivering with fear in a dark corner.Yeah, sorry for repeating myself so often.  I guess I'll get sick of saying it soon enough.Lol.
