"Look At That Thing!" - The NYT Reveals The Pentagon's Mysterious UFO Program

When tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy theories cross paths with massive 'defense' budgets and excited politicians, "stranger things" happen.

Welcome to The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

As The New York Times exposes, within the $600 billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 million spent on the program was almost impossible to find.

Which was how the Pentagon wanted it.

For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze.

The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012. But its backers say that, while the Pentagon ended funding for the effort at that time, the program remains in existence. For the past five years, they say, officials with the program have continued to investigate episodes brought to them by service members, while also carrying out their other Defense Department duties.

The shadowy program — parts of it remain classified — began in 2007, and initially it was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate majority leader at the time and who has long had an interest in space phenomena.

Most of the money went to an aerospace research company run by a billionaire entrepreneur and longtime friend of Mr. Reid’s, Robert Bigelow, who is currently working with NASA to produce expandable craft for humans to use in space.

And while the clapping of crony capitalism screams alod from those two last sentences, one watch of the following video (just one of many), suggests the boondoggle may be based in some kind of reality after all... (the footage from a Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet showing an aircraft surrounded by some kind of glowing aura traveling at high speed and rotating as it moves. The Navy pilots can be heard trying to understand what they are seeing. “There’s a whole fleet of them,” one exclaims. Defense officials declined to release the location and date of the incident.)

Mr. Reid, who retired from Congress this year, said he was proud of the program.

“I’m not embarrassed or ashamed or sorry I got this thing going,” Mr. Reid said in a recent interview in Nevada.

“I think it’s one of the good things I did in my congressional service. I’ve done something that no one has done before.”

While not addressing the merits of the program, Sara Seager, an astrophysicist at M.I.T., cautioned that not knowing the origin of an object does not mean that it is from another planet or galaxy.

“When people claim to observe truly unusual phenomena, sometimes it’s worth investigating seriously,” she said.

But, she added, “what people sometimes don’t get about science is that we often have phenomena that remain unexplained.”

I saw and watched and witnessed a black triangle ship one night in Florida in 2003.  Saw it perfectly.  At first I thought it was an alien ufo, but once I was able to see it more clearly at the time and then after I found that others had seen the same thing I realized that it wasn't an alien ufo, but it was most likely one of ours that has either been reversed engineered from alien technology or just something "we" created and haven't told the world about yet. but I saw one flying one night and it was amazing and out of this world...so I still don't know what it really was.  But it was fucking crazy big and crazy fast.  Like light speed fast. It was a black triangle ship...probably 80 feet or more on each side.  And most likely some kind of anti-gravity propulsion system because it moved from hovering a few miles away to shooting light speed towards my location to then a slow landing trajectory in a split second while I was watching it that night. Nothing normal that we know about can move at the speed I saw that thing do that night.  It was incredible like movie effects but it was real.

Back in the eighties I used to read a publication called International Defense Update. I loved the magazine as it basically offered no nonsense articles pertaining to military systems and capabilities.  I remember seeing pics of the SU27 Flanker for the first time in that magazine. Also read about other Soviet weapon systems as well as NATO systems I knew to be classified. It was cool to be reading about stuff like that and I often wondered about their sources.  One of the last issues I remembered reading had a short column claiming that the US airforce was experimenting with technology they obtained from a crashed UFO.  Talk about creating cognitive dissonance.  That was before I was up on the JQ or even heard of Jonathon Pollard.  The magazine was an Israeli publication. Might still be in print. I don't care to look.

Also in the 80s, certain skunk works engineers went public in an avaition magazine/journal, they said the leading edge of the B-2's wings are electrostatically charged with a high current, and this significantly reduced drag - they were upset that their work wasn't being released to benefit society. What a great technology, not only for airliners, but also for semi-trucks and personal cars alike..

>> I saw and watched and witnessed a black triangle shipDo you use hallucinogenic drugs? Genuine question. We live in a time where nearly every person carries a high quality high resolution auto focusing camera. Surveillance and vehicle dash cameras are ubiquitous constantly recording and yet there are not credible focused recordings of anything remotely credibly alien. I would so love if we made contact with alien life that had technology to travel to this tiny back-water planet orbiting an unremarkable star in one of a billion galaxies dotted about the unimaginable vastness of space. An alien able to advance to such a level would have no concern about making itself known, even if it found the taste of human flesh the most delicious thing that entered their alimentary canal. UFO's and alien contact etc. are just trick of our vivid imagination, drug induced delusion or human psychosis. "Alien" lifeforms have undoubtedly evolved throughout space-time and the massive universe. But will have undoubtedly hit the many evolutionary, psychological and physical brick-wall's we have. Oh how, so much, humans need to find a higher level of conciousness and leadership, but our idiocy dooms us to an inevitable fate of self extinction.

You are definitely part of the problem. It's the absolute and sheer arogance of your type of thinking & denial of plain facts that has stalled humans from breaking free from the insanity hamster wheel we've been on for over 10,000 years.People like you really are the problem. What makes it worse, is that the power structures are thoroughly infested with cowardly, arrogant, ego-maniacal psychopaths like yourself Yet, you will stupidly and arrogantly try to deny that fact.

Yes, Im in Georgia, north of you, see em twice a week here. The Anti-grav 4 years ago had a low rumble, alerts my dog so I go outside and look up... they make better ones now..Lately they have been testing smaller ones, and they have red plasma balls that come around occassionaly but havent seen that since last Christmas. There is one huge triangle that has some kind of 3d projector to make em look like whatever,...The little ones were out last couple of nights around 7:30 and again at 9  (Now they will change the schedule,  again after mentioning this online like they did last time I mentioned it)Cost of shipping heavy stuff and visiting the moon will be going way down shortly,  glad I lived long enough to witness it, wish it wasnt secret and I had one floating out front...

Glad you confirmed Georgia is still North of Florida. Funny how all these aliens photographed are ALWAYS poor quality.  Funny also, all the moon landings were filmed the same way, low quality pixelated shots.  It's not as though we don't ALL carry high rez cameras in our pockets these days.....Makes me wonder if hedgeless_horseman and my Great Grandmother, who refused to watch the moon landings claiming them to be Hollywood, are right.  Isn't it at least a little odd that NASA had high quality cameras, a didn't use them on the moon, or that Seataka watches alien craft every week and can't get a quality pic of it?There are over a $Trillion$ missing from the DOD budget.  My guess is at least a portion of that money went to building aircraft the public only gets glimpses of.We're told in the last days there will be signs and wonders in the heavens above that will fool the world.  I'm thinking the DOD will be the wizard behind that trickery, and that the US Gov is the evil we're warned of - that great whore who turns on God, the unfaithful women who torments the world, who the Lord himself will destroy!

So you admit, your opinion is that it was designed by "Reverse Engineering" revealing your opinion that the tech is "other woldly" but fir some damn reason, this particular viewing couldnt be of an "other", but MUST BE the U.S. who somehow hasnt revealed this tech fir the past 30-50 years, nor used it to crush its enemies? With more neocons running the show in the past 16 years than in modern history, they never used it, but are simply content with zipping over U.S. cities fir 2-3 decades (just to get a feel for the handling)?Listen bro, had we claimed a wreck-tech, E.T.s would have come for it and taken it back in a hot minute just as if a ship wrecked with nukes off the shores of Africa due to an accident into some tribal jungle, we would reclaim the tech from those barbarians, and could do it easily.

Now I will say that TR3B footage is easily done.I'm a VFX artist, and I tell you I can do that shot here in my offce, no problem. I've been doing SciFi stuff for deacdes. A lot of you have likely seen it.However, fake or real, information about that black triangle thing has been slowly squeezed out. Now it's accelerating. Perhaps it's a distraction, letting more "official"  info about this out now, while deep state satanist pedos run for cover, as illustrated in thye Galactic Red Pill tweet feed listed above. The real reason they want to stop DJ Trump: he has no patience for Satanic Degenerates.Even the Mars rover footage you see can be done it today's terrain generation software. Amazing how much that place seems to resemble Iceland.

One of the comments on the page (via the link provided):Jim Griffiths2 years ago (edited)+japex1100 I've seen it too (Middlewich, Cheshire), but also know that this video is fake and misinformation. The original creator of this CGI piece even openly stated it on his channel, claiming he made it as a simulation of what he saw. Since then, many people have downloaded his video in 240p format and re-uploaded it with varying descriptions. The original higher resolution video can't be found now and so it's more difficult to prove that it is CGI due to the low quality.Show lessREPLY

About the missing money: It is not visible, as it was just printed and the USD is the reserve currency of the world. Once the petro-euro-dollar is no longer the reserve currency, fasten your seat belts. Two things can happen. Dollar collapse/hyperinflation or wwiii or both. Well maybe then are three things.Keep stacking on PM's

Dollar collapse/hyperinflation or wwiii. Mass starvation / zombie apocalypse / chaos. Seven billion hungry mouths to feed - an organizational structure to produce, package and distribute. Should the ship start leaking, it will be horrific. We no longer have common cultural ties / community spirit. The world is now one enormous cesspool of hatred ready to turn in on itself as reflected by the political sideshows being played out in every aspect of life.

Thank you.In the extremely unlikely event that other intelligent life exists 'out there', we are seperated by inconceivable distances that are too vast to ever overcome considering that there are hard limits on speed that fundamentally can never be overcome.

"In the extremely unlikely event that other intelligent life exists 'out there'"I look at it this way:For life to exist on Earth, the planet had to form in a stable orbit with enough mass that water and atmosphere would not boil off or permanently freeze.  It had to rotate at a fast enough rate that water didn't freeze on the night side.  It had to be hit by a planetoid that deposited enough iron in the core to effect a magnetic field capable of shielding the surface from hard radiation.  The remains of that collision, the moon, would be necessary to create the tides which allowed life to eventually emerge from the sea. That's an awful lot of stuff that had to go just right to get to where we are now.  Now look at Mars and Venus.  There's probably lots of terrestrial type planets in our galaxy, but I'll bet most of them look like Mars or Venus: a bit too far or too close, not enough mass, no iron core, incorrect rotation. It may actually take an entire galaxy of random collisions and chemical reactions to produce a single planet like Earth.  We may in fact be the only ones here.

Looking at the surrent situation to then look at how "uniqe" the cirumstances must have been to make a conclusion 'no other life exists' is moronic. You have, at best, shown the extreme rarity of how this planet and the lifeforms there one came to be. You conclusion is entirely irrelevant to the creation and existance of  other types of life.

Even if there's only one "Genisis Moment" per galaxy, that still means millions of life-events in just the visible universe. Now, getting to know them is basically impossible because of the distance problem - so while I am certain that "we are not alone," we might as well be.

Alcubierre drive ... the math has been worked out .... the physicists need to work out the dark matter interactions, and the engineers have to work out the containment schemes.

A true long shot, but if you think 'anti-gravity' drive exists now, space-time displacement may bejustaround the corner.

My money is on a advanced drone program in GA.
