Trump Threatens To Cut Off US Aid To Palestinian Authority

Shortly after the US announced it would withhold some $255 million in planned aid for Pakistan, president Trump once again threatened to cut off aid, this time to the Palestine Authority, saying they were no longer willing to negotiate, and acknowledging that his push to broker peace in the Middle East has stalled.

In a pair of tweets on Tuesday afternoon, Trump said the U.S. pays “the Palestinians HUNDRED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS a year and get no appreciation or respect. They don’t even want to negotiate a long overdue ... peace treaty with Israel."

“We have taken Jerusalem, the toughest part of the negotiation, off the table, but Israel, for that, would have had to pay more. But with the Palestinians no longer willing to talk peace, why should we make any of these massive future payments to them?” he wrote.

According to Bloomberg, the U.S. disbursed about $616 million in foreign aid for the Palestinian Authority in 2016, according to the U.S. Agency for International Development’s website. That funding included support for debt payments, water supply and sanitation and health projects, according to the agency.

As AP notes, Trump infuriated many in the Middle East when he announced late last year that the U.S. would consider Jerusalem the capital of Israel and move its embassy there. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said the announcement destroyed Trump’s credibility as a Mideast peace broker, calling the decision “a declaration of withdrawal from the role it has played in the peace process."

To some, Tuesday’s tweets mark an admission by Trump that his decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem has thrown a wrench into his administration’s plans to restart the peace process between Israelis and Palestinians. Trump tasked son-in-law Jared Kushner to restart the effort, and brought his former attorney, Jason Greenblatt, into the White House to lead the negotiations — which he had dubbed “the ultimate deal.”

On Twitter, Trump also issued a threat to cut off foreign aid dollars to an unspecified list of countries that don’t reciprocate.

“It’s not only Pakistan that we pay billions of dollars to for nothing, but also many other countries, and others,” Trump tweeted, appearing to reference a Jan. 1 tweet lambasting Pakistan for failing to do enough to combat terror groups while taking U.S. aid. “No more!” Trump had tweeted Monday.

Earlier in the day, Trump’s envoy to the United Nations, Ambassador Nikki Haley, foreshadowed Trump’s warning at the U.N. Security Council when she said the president doesn’t want to give any more funds “until the Palestinians are willing to come back to the negotiation table.”

“We still very much want to have a peace process. Nothing changes with that. The Palestinians now have to show they want to come to the table,” Haley said. “As of now, they’re not coming to the table, but they ask for aid. We’re not giving the aid. We’re going to make sure that they come to the table.”

While Trump’s "Mideast peace team" held meetings with Israeli, Palestinian and Arab leaders for nearly a year ahead of an expected peace proposal, by recognizing Israel’s claim to Jerusalem, Trump was seen by the Palestinians as siding with Israel on the most sensitive issue in the conflict. The Palestinians seek east Jerusalem, which was captured by Israel in 1967, for their capital.

In December the international community condemned Trump’s decision, with the United Nations General Assembly voting 128-9 to back a resolution critical of the move. Palestinians consider East Jerusalem to be their capital and any final decision about the city has long been considered something to be worked out in joint peace talks.

The new Agent Orange is just as toxic as the old.

Never mind that $6,000,000,000 (that's Billion) gift we give every year to our gallant little (((blackmailing terrorist ally))) in the Middle East, which has, since its inception caused nothing but anguish, pain and despair for all surrounding inhabitants.  No, never mind all that, Donald.  Take away that miserable little stipend of $250,000,000 (that's Million) that's paid to the bullys' whipping boy so as not to appear biased.

You're paving a mighty golden road to hell with your new-found powers, Mr. Cuckisent.

You nailed it. Israhell and it's Zionist thugs are no different than ISIS and assorted Wahhabist religious barbarians. Neither belong in the 21st Century. Maybe we can get Kim Jung Un to change the targeting of his missiles to the House of Saud and Nuttyyahoo?

A democratic and secular Palestine is the way to peace and the future!

Also, don't confuse you Jewish neighbors and friends with these nut jobs.

If Islam were a religion of peace, if Muslims were the generous and caring people that they and the left claim to be the case, there would be an area of "Palestine" - mostly Israel - and there would be no " 'Palestinian' refugee" problem, because all those who chose to fight against and then depart from Israel after her founding would have been welcomed by those surrounding nations who encouraged that initial attempt to destroy the nascent nation.

But, of course, caring, generous, welcoming, Muslim nations never take in refugees, hoping the stupid Westerners would either welcome in the seeds of their own destruction, or pay never-ending jizyah to support these malcontents in place.

Let's take three or four almost equal pieces of semi-barren real estate on the Eastern Mediterranean shore (I'll ignore Syria due to decades of oppressive misrule): Lebanon - a melting pot of peoples and religions which was mostly prosperous until Hezbollah moved in as part of the war on Israel. (Trans) Jordan - a stable monarchy, neither exceptionally prosperous, nor a place of huge deprivation or malcontent. Israel - a small and inconveniently shaped piece of land, hard to defend and with no great natural resources - built into an economic and military powerhouse, and not just with our money - the desert made to bloom, the economy constantly producing innovations and thus exports. The 'Palestinian' refugee territories, populated as much with imported troublemakers as with descendants of the original uprising against Israel - still a barren hellhole with no functioning economy, existing only to lob rockets into Israel, and to pad the pockets of those who claim to be leaders. There is no discernible economic progress because the "leadership" doesn't care.

Why doesn't aid flow in from all over the region? Syria Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, all the assorted little Oil "theifdoms".... Why should the West prop up these "leaders" who won't build an economy for their people (or simply help the people build their economy)?

Multiple US presidents have rightly declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel, but wimped out at the opportunity to "make it so." Trump doesn't wimp out.  He recognizes that Jerusalem is not the deal breaker in a peace accord, but simply another excuse by people who do not want peace. Trump doesn't care to get peace at any price - like Carter, Clinton, or Obama (or Neville Chamberlain). Either a win-win deal is concocted, or he walks away.

As for these claims upon Jerusalem, it was a civilized city for centuries, becoming first the center of Judaism and then the cradle of Christianity for centuries more before Mohammed dreamed he had been there overnight on a winged horse. There was never any "furthest mosque," until marauding hordes swept through yet more centuries later. So, who exactly, has any claim upon the temple mount and the city as a whole? Not Mohammed, and certainly not these troublemakers who cannot even make their own piece of desert bloom.

Does Mahmoud Abbas know how to make a deal, or does he only know extortion? His bluff has been called.

Treaty of Peace and Friendship, Signed at Tripoli November 4, 1796

ARTICLE 11.

As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

Flowery BS meant to assuage the pompous Ottoman empire sub douche who signed it.  Of course they broke the treaty repeatedly.  Islam directs Muslims how to treat infidels.   Anyway the problems the very young republic had with the Barbary states enslaving US citizens and stealing U.S. Property, as well as their dishonorable behavior, convinced Congress and many of the founders of the necessity, for carrying on foreign commerce with decent respect paid to U.S. citizens and property on the high seas, to maintain a formidable navy.

1) this foreign aid is illegal and unconstitutional;not that it matters, the constitution is dead

2) this is not foreign aid at all,it's bribe money to keep the vassal states in the US sphere of influence,to keep assorted tyrants installed by the US ,in place,to allow blind robbing of countries for the US big corporations

3)the money given to the parasite suffocating the US,is money given to prop up them(in the amount of 3Trillions 'til 2005). It's 12 000 $ for every woman, man, child in the criminal entity

US aid to its masters greatly exceeds the official multi-billion dollar figure.  Count in the trillions of dollars in costs, and the thousands of lives ended or destroyed, from the wars the US fights for its ((masters)); the goodwill it squanders supporting the world's leading terrorist, Apartheid state at the UN; transfers of technology; etc.; etc.

The US is a pathetic, evil lap-Cerberus of the ((learned elders)).

'They Accept Us as We Are;' Christians Join Forces With Muslim Group Hezbollah to Fight ISIS in Lebanon

Rifit Nasrallah, a Catholic businessman who is part of the militias fighting ISIS in Ras Baalbek, discussed the alliance with Hezbollah in an International Business Times report last month.

"We're in a very dangerous situation," he said. "The only people who are protecting us are the resistance of Hezbollah. The only one standing with the army is Hezbollah. Let's not hide it anymore."

Nasrallah said Hezbollah does not expect its allies to convert to Islam or create an allegiance to the group's ideals.

"They accept us as we are," he said. "They do not impose on us anything. When there's an occasion, they come to our children's birthdays. The people here accept that Hezbollah comes and helps."

It's all been in the election campaign. No more money to be sent to foreign countries while America needs it. Trump has just waited for the opportunities so it doesn't look all that unilateral.

The money saved should go into a worthwhile cause and be mentioned on a plaque. E.g.: "This school was renovated with money that President Trump rejected to send to Pakistan". Or: "This bridge was repaired with money that President Trump refused to send to the UN".

Time that all these countries, people, and organizations grew up and learned to take care of their own matters.

No more money to be sent to foreign countries while America needs it.

So no more money to Israel?  No more troops in S. Korea, Germany, Syria or Afghanistan?  No more money for NATO?  No more corporate welfare for the MIC, the banks, the insurance companies or big Pharma?

Oh, right, no more money to those people his ((ZioMasters)) tell him to cut off and endless largesse for his ((ZioMasters)).  He'll spend those $255 million marked for water treatment for Palestinians (necessary since his ((ZioMasters)) regularly blow up the water treatment plants) to illegally move the US embassy to occupied territory in Jerusalem.  While he has his ((ZioMasters)) ((Kushner)) and ((Greenblatt)) "negotiate peace" with the victims of ethnic cleansing, state terrorism, Apartheid and terrorism.  Does it get any more disgusting than that?  Kind of like appointing Baghdadi to negotiate peace between ISIS and the Yazidis.

Trump:  a total and absolute cowardly puppet of the Joomanji.  Sadly, the corrupt and cowardly Orangutan  is making Obama look like a principled, great leader.

If you haven't figured out Trump is there to advance the Bolshevik World Order you are simply not paying attention.
