FISA Fireworks: Pelosi Demands "Removal" Of Nunes From Intel Committee

Update: Minutes after Pelosi's tantrum, Bloomberg reports that The White House plans to sign off on the memo's release today and send it back to Congress.

*  *  *

Hours after Democrat Adam Schiff attempted to distract from the imminent release of what is likely over-hyped to be a very damaging memo , by claiming "material" changes were made to the memo (which consisted of "grammatical fixes,") Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi has written a sternly-worded letter to Speaker Ryan demanding Nunes be removed from his position as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee...

Democratic Leader Pelosi's full letter to Speaker Paul Ryan:

Dear Mr. Speaker:

The decision of Chairman Nunes and House Republicans to release a bogus memo has taken the GOP's cover-up campaign to a new, completely unacceptable extreme.

Both the DOJ and FBI oppose releasing the Nunes memo. As the Department of Justice warned, the public release of the memo would be an "unprecedented action" and "extraordinarily reckless." The FBI also expressed that the agency has "grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy.-

It has now come to our attention that Congressman Nunes deliberately and materially altered the contents of the memo since it was voted on by the House Republicans. This action is not only dangerous, it is illegitimate, and violates House rules.

From the start, Congressman Nunes has disgraced the House Intelligence Committee. Since pledging to recuse himself from the Trump-Russia investigation, Congressman Nunes has abused his position to launch a highly unethical and dangerous cover-up campaign for the White House.

Congressman Nunes' deliberately dishonest actions make him unfit to serve as Chairman, and he must be removed immediately from this position.

House Republicans' pattern of obstruction and cover-up to hide the truth about the Trump-Russia scandal represents a threat to our intelligence and our national security. The GOP has led a partisan effort to distort intelligence and discredit the U.S. law enforcement and intelligence communities.

It is long overdue that you, as Speaker, put an end to this charade and hold Congressman Nunes and all Congressional Republicans accountable to the oath they have taken to support and defend the Constitution, and protect the American people.

The integrity of the House is at stake. We look forward to your immediate action on this subject.

All of this comes after Pelosi's grandstanding at Trump's SOTU attempting to bring the narrative back to Russia-collusion narrative that has so clearly imploded...

Pelosi asked during a press conference on Wednesday…

“President Trump is completely silent about Russia’s ongoing assault on our democracy and his administration’s outrageous refusal to impose sanctions. What’s that about? What is that about?”

“What do the Russians have on him politically, personally, financially that he would ignore his responsibility in that regard?”

At least she is persistent? Or is this Einstein's definition of madness?

It’s a bogus, cover-up, and extreme unprecedented action, extraordinarily reckless.  The Democrats altered the contents, a dangerous and illegitimate action, that disgraced the House, and abused their position.   A highly unethical and dangerous cover-up campaign, with deliberately dishonest actions is under way.   They are unfit to serve, and must be removed immediately for their pattern of obstruction and cover-up to hide the truth.  They are  a threat to our intelligence and our national security for leading a partisan effort to distort intelligence. They are not accountable to the oath they have taken to support and defend the Constitution, and protect the American people.

The integrity of the House is at stake!

Fixed it for her....

The camera was just awful on her during the SOTU my spouse looked at me and said: she looks like a goat.  I mean we sort of make comments all through the show, but it was awful, and the Kenedy kid was freaking drooling, in the rebuttal it was like Bobby Knight and you were like how do fuck do people get that shit on their lips in the first damn place?

It was horrible I watch CBS 13 out of Baltimore and can tell you the Dems looked bad.. really pathetic.

There was Trump saying Dreamers Ok.. no problema, and the "Demon"crats scowling and contorting now that the Dreamers were taken care of.. I bet the Hispanics who were watching were like WTF?  Take the deal.. take the deal..

And Beautiful Clean Coal.. I want some BEAUTIFUL CLEAN COAL!!!

Pelosi looked unhappy

Carbon DIOXIDE, which is the same shit coming out of your nose and mouth right now, is not captured.  SO2 is what people used to care about, you know, before the hysterics about carbon DIOXIDE, that is now, disingenuously referred to as just "carbon".  Sulfur Dioxide is indeed scrubbed in the smoke stacks of western coal fired power plants, to address acid rain concerns.  Particulates are also captured, to prevent the whole London smog thing from the early 1900's.  With these scrubber technologies, coal is indeed clean, but luckily for Al Gore worshipers,  they can still demonize it because of that dreaded carbon dioxide that they refer to as "carbon".

Mercury, a metal element, exists naturally throughout the world--most notably in the oceans, which are estimated to contain hundreds of thousands of tons of mercury, as well as in the air, soil and consequently in most forms of plant and animal life in various concentrations and chemical forms. Mercury is released in the air in substantial, though by no means toxic, quantities by volcanoes and wildfires. It is released in far smaller quantities by coal plants--an estimated 2,000 tons of manmade sources vs. tens of thousands of tons from natural sources. The most relevant form of human exposure is methylmercury from marine life, which is substantially influenced by biological processes but not by human emissions. Coal plants are not a dangerous source of mercury. They are, however, an essential source of electricity, which is an essential of every aspect of modern food production and health care.

Mercury in gaseous form is far more toxic than in solid form.

The industry fought tooth & nail against scrubbers for many years & we would be Bladerunner 2049 right now if it werent 4 environmental wackos.Lets breed another 7.5 billion mestizo slave food-units  so we can sell them electricity, health insurance & prison cells.

Another big fukkin myth, from reliable sources of Power Plant Operators (The guys that they never let speak at hearings)

True Story:

When EPA came to several old coal plants that had been renovated to the newest tech, their testing revealed at the end that the air coming out of the stack was cleaner than the air going in ....

Think about that for a second.

What did Alliant do?  they gave up/sacrificed those plants in negotiations with the EPA during Oblamea admin ....

Yea, there are a few locations in this country OBlamea would not want to go near ... protection or not, there would be trouble for the kenyan butt-pirate.

Similar true story:  I helped design and operate a lead processing facility in SE Asia during the Asian Crisis and time of horrible particulate smog (coal, forest fires, 2-strokes, etc.)  Our factory, designed to US standards, could hardly keep the emission filters (for Pb) clean enough to operate we were filtering so much smog out of the air.  Huge air handling equipment, we wanted to bill the SE Asian Gov. for air purification services.  Our emissions were way cleaner than outside air, we tested it often.

I take what she says seriously enough to try her for treason along with the rest.

I'd just as soon back an Asplundh truck up to the door and start tossing everyone in the House and Senate into it, just to save some tax dollars. God will sort the wheat from the chaff. Or not. Either way...
