Ron Paul Explains What The FBI/FISA Memo Really Tells Us About Our Government

Authored by Ron Paul via The Ron Paul Institute for Peace & Prosperity,

The release of the House Intelligence Committee’s memo on the FBI’s abuse of the FISA process set off a partisan firestorm.

The Democrats warned us beforehand that declassifying the memo would be the end the world as we know it. It was reckless to allow Americans to see this classified material, they said. Agents in the field could be harmed, sources and methods would be compromised, they claimed.

Republicans who had seen the memo claimed that it was far worse than Watergate. They said that mass firings would begin immediately after it became public. They said that the criminality of US government agencies exposed by the memo would shock Americans.

Then it was released and the world did not end. FBI agents have thus far not been fired. Seeing “classified” material did not terrify us, but rather it demonstrated clearly that information is kept from us by claiming it is “classified.”

In the end, both sides got it wrong. Here’s what the memo really shows us:

First, the memo demonstrates that there is a “deep state” that does not want things like elections to threaten its existence. Candidate Trump’s repeated promises to get along with Russia and to re-assess NATO so many years after the end of the Cold War were threatening to a Washington that depends on creating enemies to sustain the fear needed to justify a trillion dollar yearly military budget.

Imagine if candidate Trump had kept his campaign promises when he became President. Without the “Russia threat” and without the “China threat” and without the need to dump billions into NATO, we might actually have reaped a “peace dividend” more than a quarter century after the end of the Cold War. That would have starved the war-promoting military-industrial complex and its network of pro-war “think tanks” that populate the Washington Beltway area.

Second, the memo shows us that neither Republicans nor Democrats really care that much about surveillance abuse when average Americans are the victims. It is clear that the FISA abuse detailed in the memo was well known to Republicans like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes before the memo was actually released. It was likely also well known by Democrats in the House. But both parties suppressed this evidence of FBI abuse of the FISA process until after the FISA Amendments Act could be re-authorized. They didn’t want Americans to know how corrupt the surveillance system really is and how the US has become far too much like East Germany. That might cause more Americans to call up their Representatives and demand that the FISA mass surveillance amendment be allowed to sunset.

Ironically, Chairman Nunes was the biggest cheerleader for the extension of the FISA Amendments even as he knew how terribly the FISA process had been abused!

Finally, hawks on both sides of the aisle in Congress used “Russia-gate” as an excuse to build animosity toward Russia among average Americans. They knew from the classified information that there was no basis for their claims that the Trump Administration was put into office with Moscow’s assistance, but they played along because it served their real goal of keeping the US on war footing and keeping the gravy train rolling.

But don’t worry: the neocons in both parties will soon find another excuse to keep us terrified and ready to flush away a trillion dollars a year on military spending and continue our arguments and new “Cold War” with Russia.

In the meantime, be skeptical of both parties. With few exceptions they are not protecting liberty but promoting its opposite.

Let's also remember how Israhell came to be.  And I believe this is important as well:

" In 2015, Nunes argued with the Pentagon over a U.S. base in the Azores, Portugal.[92] He proposed relocating Africa Command and European Command intelligence centers to the Azores, contrary to plans by Pentagon and NATO to create a larger intelligence "fusion" facility in the United Kingdom, maintaining that this would save money because of the Azores' lower living and construction costs.[93] The Pentagon responded by stating "Moving to Lajes Field is very expensive and living is expensive as well."[94] "

I think plenty of people realize what's happening. What can we do about it? Call a corrupt congress critter and ask him to change his stripes? Vote him out and replace him with someone just like him?

We aren't represented, except with empty words. The parties make sure they get the people they want.

No.. you know the craziest fucking thing?  You don't know what you don't know.  You don't know what other people do or don't know?  We make assumptions imagining and speculating what people know or don't know.. but we don't know.

Sometimes people do almost damn inexplicable shit.. and we can't grasp it.. we can't wrap around their not knowing.

But no.. serious up.. I get a call and it's I have the shit on Hillary and I'm like let me coordinate a call with such and such attorney and a group of reporters and then I record the shit on top of it all.

But meet in a private room? After all the #metoo??

Nope

Sadly the ones who understand what is at stake are not millennials... The ones who see this for what it is and know a society before, are older now, not the type to risk being jailed/away from family and work, and not "willing to risk there jobs" or there Families well being!

The millennials were raised in a era where they have been on video, surveilled and in a police state from the time they were in middle school.. They hate it but have never lived
"free" and never have been allowed to follow there own path.

To some, Trump is the 1st white president we ever had!

They never knew life before the internet or life w/o a phone inhand 24/7

Somehow they have lost touch with the fact we employ the govt, they are suppose to fear us(the people) not the other way around..

This group of young people are going to pay for these mistakes of not resisting the status quo, its there debt burden and there college debt they were manipulated into, its time for them to put the plan in action.

They seem to distracted by social media and celeb BS to step up and force change (tools of the 1%)!

This isnt protesting the war like the 60s or fighting for rights, we have been attacked by the powers that be for 20+ years with the direct plan at divide and conquer.

They trained school students to accept/fear -law officers (metal detectors to chained doors) under the fear of  school shootings due to drugs they feed us.

they've basically stripped them of creative thinking with pharmaceutical drugs under the guise of ADD/Adhd(to fall inline) never march to your own beat or be disciplined

They have kept all races/sexes/religions divided to keep them from standing together. Police violence is not a BLM issue, its a direct attack on the working class, the worst off in the white community are being assaulted by cops daily.

These same groups running this country are funding the BLM movement, the transgender rights movement, the celebrity sex assault issue.. And of course the attack on muslim  (extremism) AND THE DRUG WAR

It is all by design to keep us the working class 99%, divided so they can destroy any type of protest that would be effective.

When you see BLM fighting over police abuse, you feel for the BLM Movement but think its not me.. When you see the attacks on Muslim community, well its not me, transgender issue, females being abused, not me.... But when it is you, who will be left to stand up in protest! ( i stole that from somewhere)

Even something as bad as the opiate issue is by design, the group being literally eliminated is 40-55 yr old people that are about to cost the Gov the most in healthcare/SS and so on, they have been pushed out of the workforce due to deindustrialisation (job offshoring beginning in 90s under Clinton) and the Gov is letting them exterminate themselves to cut future costs to the system, same as the VA is doing to soldiers, all by design to cull the population.

There jobs have been getting eliminated for over 20 years, they are broke, homeless and in pain from the physical toll the job took on them and the mental toll losing it all has done to there hope.. so there doctors  drug them to distract them, just as they do to the kids in schools to keep them inline... all by design

But maybe i am just another middle aged drug free conspiracy theorist who needs a tinfoil hat and a prozac,

Or maybe I am one of those free thinkers who marches to there own beat and never conforms to what Im told!

Maybe I can see though the curtain and the illusion has been ruined for me, hopefully you readers as well!

Anyone who doubts the above should consider the source of the Vegas shootings, 9-11, Sandy Hoax, the Murray Bldg., Orlando, Boston Marathon, Operation Gladio, etc.  The Deep State, with the aid of the MSM, explains these events with the flimsiest of stories.  It doesn't have to make any sense - the moon is made of blue cheese if CNN or the NYT says it is. It's amazing that Ron Paul and Paul Craig Roberts can keep going in the face of such stupidity. GLTA

The sad truth.....Ron speaks the truth....bread and circuses for the plebs...nothing will change.  Thomas Jefferson was correct when he said that the ignorant can never perceive the depth of their own ignorance...

865,000 people in government have Top Secret clearance.

Over 50% of the documentation produced by .gov is now classified as Top Secret.

$50TRILLION is MISSING due to clandestine MIC and MIIC Unacknowledged Projects that even Presidents are not "read into", including $21T of "undocumentable adjustments" that have been identified in Fed's balance sheets https://www.forbes.com/sites/kotlikoff/2017/12/08/has-our-government-sp…

And another $27T of our country's wealth transferred in bailouts a decade ago -  not including TARP or FDIC financing of US institutions ($100k for every person), all done by Fed Reserve w/out any act in Congress authorizing it.

In final 18 mos. of Bush administration, US lost $12T on its net worth - 20% of accumulated wealth over two centuries.

Trillions extended by the FR in the form of corporate welfare - they took US dollar, they control the currency and have control over money supply - and for first time in history they played favorites and lent out money at 0.01% interest to these special banks.

no one in .gov, Wall Street held responsible.

Yet after the theft, the liabilities remain:
Military pensions
Government pensions
Corporate pension insurance
Social security
Social Security Disability
Deposit insurance
Flood insurance
Mortgage insurance
Food stamps
Housing subsidies
Up to 50% or more in US counties

The NSA, CIA and the IRS need to be abolished.  The FBI and DoJ need a complete overhaul.  Anyone with ties to Obama and/or Hillary need to be shown the door, and those that have committed crimes need to be prosecuted.

Should see a “huge plot by terrorist foiled due to our brave men and women in the cia” soon. They are no doubt giving fake C4 to a couple retarded mooslims as we speak.

When you think about America’s 20 trillion debt, which will only expand with the tax cut / child-tax-credit welfare piñata for citizens, legal and illegal immigrants with high womb productivity whose refundable child tax credits already maxed out at $6,444 before being doubled by The Swamp, we cannot afford more military spending.

Most citizens have paychecks that are not boosted up by monthly welfare that covers their rent and groceries, unlike many parents who also receive refundable child-tax-credit welfare whose paychecks are higher, as long as they work part time, staying below the cut off for refundable child tax credits, and whose monthly expenses are MUCH lower as long as they do not work hard. They must work part time to stay below the earned-income limit for monthly welfare.

The hard workers get $24-per-paycheck on average from this “tax cut” and are punished, as usual, as they will pay for this tax cut / tax-welfare plan to reward 1) the wealthy and 2) the sex-and-reproduction crowd who either have 1) spousal income, 2) child support or 3) multiple streams of monthly welfare and now-doubled child tax credits to help with rent that soaks up more than half of earned-only income for citizens who lack the pay-per-birth freebies.

We have to pay all of these citizens and noncitizens, working part time to stay below the earned-income limit for welfare or to add keeping-up-with-the-Jones’ money to a spousal income to have sexual intercourse and reproduce. We do not have the money for more military expenditures, regardless of the theories concocted by six-figure think tankers.

We wouldn’t need FISA if our government didn’t permit such easy access of our country to people that hate us and want to kill us.

It is one thing to need layers of security. It is quite another when the need is deliberately created.

That is the plan.  Victim card will be re-issued after 7 million Jews die in a nuclear war.  See those settlements all around Dimona?  Those are the martyrs.  Dig deep and you will find an article stating the Hebrew Israelites from USA are unable to leave Israel (forced to live there).  But this story will be the one needed to divert our attention away from the real story which I assume will be a stock market crash, a war and/or assassination of one of our heroes.

Elimination the middle class globally is the issue.  Mexico is the only country which gains in population on www.deagel.com (up 1 million)...and China's population changes just a little 0.8%.  Israel's population drops from 8.2 to 3.4 million, about 58% to  http://www.deagel.com/country/Israel_c0100.aspx

Famine is at the end of this crazy war plan which was required due to largest army on earth, armed and ready.  Moment to make a move is not going to happen twice.
