Pressure Mounts On FBI Director To Resign After Florida Tragedy

The White House is probably regretting its decision not to show FBI Director Christopher Wray the door when he reportedly threatened to resign last year over the administration's push to oust now-former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe...

In what the bureau has called a "failure of protocol," the Wray admitted that the bureau had failed to follow up on an anonymous tip delivered to one of its hotlines by somebody who knew Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old gunman who killed 17 people and wounded more than a dozen more at his former high school in Parkland, Fla. on Wednesday. Instead of being forwarded to the FBI's Miami field office, the tip was essentially ignored...and now nearly 20 people, most of them teenagers, are dead.

On Jan. 5, a person close to Cruz called an FBI tip line warning them about the 19 year old's behavior, and warning them that he might try to carry out a school shooting. They also discussed his expressed desire to kill people, his erratic behavior and disturbing social media posts. And the FBI was also notified about a comment on a YouTube video posted by a "Nikolas Cruz" last year.

Wray said in a statement that he is "committed to getting to the bottom of what happened in this particular matter, as well as reviewing our processes for responding to information that we receive from the public."

"We have determined that these protocols were not followed for the information received by the PAL on January 5. The information was not provided to the Miami field office, and no further investigation was conducted at that time," the FBI said in a statement released Friday.

Yesterday, Florida Gov. Rick Scott called on Wray to resign, saying the bureau's failure to act was "unacceptable" and that "an apology isn't going to cut it."

"The FBI’s failure to take action against this killer is unacceptable....The FBI Director needs to resign," said Scott in a statement.

"We constantly promote ‘see something, say something,’ and a courageous person did just that to the FBI. And the FBI failed to act. ‘See something, say something’ is an incredibly important tool and people must have confidence in the follow through from law enforcement. The FBI director needs to resign," Scott added.

"Seventeen innocent people are dead and acknowledging a mistake isn't going to cut it. An apology will never bring these 17 Floridians back to life or comfort the families who are in pain. The families will spend a lifetime wondering how this could happen, and an apology will never give them the answers they desperately need."

Florida officials, including Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Ted Deutch, criticized the FBI's inaction.

And already, conservatives are pointing to the irony that Special Counsel Robert Muelller indicted 13 Russians yesterday - allegations that the Russian government has called "absurd" and will almost certainly not result in the imprisonment or prosecution of a single individual - while the bureau appears to be ignoring potentially life saving tips...

...conservatives including Anne Coulter...

Even Attorney General Jeff Session, in what the New York Times described as an "unusually harsh" rebuke of a sitting FBI director, said the bureau technically Wray's boss - who, in a rare move, criticized the director, saying "the FBI in conjunction with our state and local partners must act flawlessly to prevent all attacks. This is imperative, and we must do better."

Per Reuters, Sessions said he has ordered a review of FBI procedures following the shooting - which was carried out with an AR-15 assault rifle purchased legally by the shooter, despite his long history of violent threats and mental instability.

And as the Times also pointed out, the bureau was criticized by Congress in 2009 for not preventing the shooting at Fort Hood Texas. The bureau also was aware of one of the two brothers who carried out the Boston Marathon bombing, and Omar Mateen, the shooter in the Pulse Nightclub attack in Orlando.

The bureau's defenders say, asking that they anticipate every attack is unreasonable, and that the public will never be aware of the attacks that are foiled because of the bureau's diligence...

But in this case, the warning signs were so obvious, and so plentiful, that it's not just remarkable that law enforcement didn't take them seriously - it's downright disturbing...

Wray needs to go.

His comments last week, the ball drop on this shooting which, obviously with the most mundane of police work, could have been stopped....inexcusable. The FBI needs a total overhaul. Reward the “rank and file” with promotions to those who’ve proven themselves and hire a new field officer group. Train them and flesh out the political hacks. Justice must be blind and equal.

Actually I think FBI was well aware that this would happen but they leave it on purpose to slip so that they can create outrage and cause against white people and gun ownership - everything falls in place so well that the probability of randomness for my gut approaches 0.

This was just a too good opportunity to let it pass. See the CNN propaganda accordingly

America should care and be enraged at FBI because the blood od these unfortunate children is of the FBI's hands. America should go to the streets and demand the resignation of the FBI top command layers and the institution to be revamped as obviously the institution top priorities are the ones serving the political oligarchy and not protecting the main street citizen.

Students report that they were told that there would be a shooter drill the same day as the massacre, and they didn't realize that it was real for a lot longer than otherwise would have been the case.  The Deep State always turns announced drills live.  It is built into their false flags boilerplate.  9/11 had about 20 drills the same day.  Why isn't this in the NY Slimes?

Of course that is what happened, but who is responsible? Wray? One of his underlings? I never was a big Wray fan, but there is a trail to follow here. I would not be surprised if it was the Miami office, and the secretary died from shark attack while swimming at night. Everyone knows that sharks feed from dusk till dawn. I suspect more than one person deserves to be fired.

He may be right and that is very sad because about ten years ago I stepped by accident into not one but two separate situations that needed someone to check them out.  I used the FBI web page to write both situations up and I mean they took care of both issues beyond quickly.

So something happened to change those really efficient and also easy to check out potential real threats.  And neither from what I saw anyway involved the killing of school kids.

They did switch over though from letting one contact the appropriate Region or office whereas today they have something like 150 "trained" operators who take those calls and distribute them out.  Doubt if the operators have the backgrounds really needed for many situations.

Let us all allow:

- Powerful people to run amuck, Anti-Trust to take over, Robber Barron's to Lord over us, Monopoly State Capitalism to control communities, counties, states, regions

- Powerful Sentiment to make Criminals of 50% of the population, private intel agencies to manipulate people, free wheeling background data to empower capitalism while criminalizing citizen... immigrants are cheaper... and we need lower class... so capitalism loves criminalizing your kids and all others

- English Tradition is to suppress people like you, me, ZH, & create under class much like the East India Company learned in 1600 AC... no Magna Carta for the Elites!

- Elites love Cheap Labor, Slave Labor, it is Capital after all! ... Revolt, hell no we don't want guns

That’s not what happened you fucking dumb shit liar. You remind me of Alex Jones making up shit. Dunblane massacre in the UK was the school shooting that made them restrict arms there. Here in Australia it was political interference from your agenda 21 planners, yeah dickhead your .gov meddling in our affairs (and elections). What they also helped to do is orchestrate a special forces soldier kill a bunch of people (Port Arthur Massacre - look it up dumb shit) then blame it on a mentally retarded patsy who couldn’t shoot straight.

Not everyone turned in their guns either.

That book was a hot topic in one of the Qanon livestreams a night or two ago (in the rabbit hole all the nights and streams are running together for me now).  The FBI was SO flagrantly inept and seemingly dismissive of the many red flags Cruz was leaving for years that it's very easy to believe this was one of those MKUltra False Flags planned by the FBI or CIA (yes, on home soil).  Not one of our institutions or agencies can be trusted.  Q has said over and over that there will be constant FFs as the Deep State digs in against PDJT.  We've already seen quite a few just in the last few weeks.

Me personally? Naw. The criminals, career sociopaths, and incompetent syncopants are firmly in charge. Maybe it was always just so, perhaps yes, exponentially greater over these many, many years, like an out of control virus, blight, parasites killing the host. Yeah, 17 intelligence agencies agree. Well see, there's the fucking problem right there .. Who exactly is it that run bartertown?

Well, as we know, the nameless, faceless people, and their magic money machine, run Bartertown. Shit in ----> all manner of evil fuckery out ..

Look out upon the world and behold, the "worlds brilliant leaders." Skull fucking the masses into silent oblivion. Take your soma like a good little lad now, it'll be ok. But, but, I wanna be famous !

The talking heads talk, and talk, and talk.

This must not stand!! Whyyyyy there oughta be a law! And there is, many laws.

And these fucking imbeciles drone on and on and on. Why it's the guns! Why it's the video games! Why it's the Godless society!

Well, priests, and other's fucking children, there's a clue. Sexual perversion and deviancy to the point of being made normal in the lawless, amoral society.

Look out upon the world. Life has never been sold cheaper, nor more vacuous. Empty souless fucks, with nothin left to lose ..

Never minding a society that consistently churns out these sick fucks, born of sick fucks, breeding exponentially greater numbers of sick fucks in a society that cranks em out, initiates them, indoctrinates them in the me me me, it's all about me, amoral cesspool of nothingness, devoid of all reason, sanity let alone rational discussion.

A leviathan beast, consuming all through it's peculiar appetites, making more grist for satans mill, that is to say, breeding ever greater still and sicker fucks.

The beast is let loose upon the land, and he's runnin this shitshow.

Could be; a high possibility.  Just review the circumstances of the Boston Marathon and the OKC bombing.  In those two cases facts have come to light that suggest that the 2 brothers and McVeigh were MKUltra patsies.  As to Adam Lanza of Sandy Hook fame, there is no school, birth or death record on this obviously manufactured person.

And what makes you think that the FBI wanted to stop the shooting?  All the evidence since Columbine indicates that they wish to promote these school shootings.  I read that 25% of all public school children are on these Big Pharma psycho drugs, SSRI;s, Ritalin, etc.  How come when I was a high school kid 55 years ago, kids would leave their squirrel guns in their cars in the school lot.  The only mass shooting I can remember was that guy at the U of Texas in the bell tower, and an autopsy indicated that he had a massive brain tumor.
