Trump Endorses Mitt Romney, Who Called Him A Fraud

President Trump cast his support for Mitt Romney's run to fill Orrin Hatch's soon-to-be vacated Senate seat in a Monday night tweet.

“He will make a great Senator and worthy successor to @OrrinHatch, and has my full support and endorsement!” tweeted Trump (or whoever had his phone) on Monday evening.

Romney replied:

Romney and Trump have a hate-hate relationship, notably trading barbs during the 2016 election, with Romney calling Trump a "phony" and a "fraud" to a crowed of nearly 700 at the University of Utah, and Trump calling Romney a disloyal "choke artist" and "failed candidate" who was eager for Trump's endorsement during his unsuccessful 2012 Presidential bid.

"You can see how loyal he is," Trump said. "He was begging for my endorsement. I could’ve said, 'Mitt, drop to your knees,' and he would’ve dropped to his knees. He was begging. True. True. He was begging me." -WaPo

After Trump won the election, he trolled Romney with the possibility of the Utah politician becoming Secretary of State - only to give the job to Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson.

Trump actively trolling Romney for SoS position

More recently, Romney criticized Trump for his comments regarding the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA, as well as the President's endorsement of Alabama Senate candidate Roy More. Romney also spoke out against Trump's alleged comment referring to Haiti and other African nations as "shithole countries."

Romney's connection to the original Trump-Russia dossier

Before Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid Fusion GPS to assemble the infamous Trump-Russia dossier, Billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Singer - who donated $1 million to Romney's Restore Our Future Super PAC, and manages a portion of Romney's more than $200 million fortune - initially hired Fusion GPS for anti-Trump opposition research through his news organization, the Washington Free Beacon.

Paul Singer, 2014 (NYT)

Of note, Singer's Free Beacon was originally part of a 504(c)(4) tax-exempt organization called the Center for American Freedom - whose original board of directors included never-Trump neocon Bill Kristol. Kristol's father, Irving, is known as the "godfather of neoconservatism," and was a self-described "member in good standing of the Young People's Socialist League," which was, according to the Senior Kristol, "commonly; and correctly, designated as Trotskyist" (Excerpt from Memoires of a Trotskyist by Irving Kristol). For what it's worth, Bernie Sanders was also a member of the YPSL.

Bill Kristol, Neocon

From a November, 2017 interview with Deseret NewsKristol said the following of Trump and Romney:

Deseret News: As a conservative critical of President Trump, what would you say is the right way to fight or engage him?

Bill Kristol:  Recruit candidates and back them effectively and make the case for policies more along the Bush/McCain/Romney track.

As one can see, Romney deeply ingrained in the incestuous circle of neocon never-Trumpers who fought tooth and nail against his nomination, and have resisted Trump ever since he won.

We're sure Trump's endorsement of Romney is part of a multi-dimensional board game of some sort.

Obama never moved off the fence from 'recognizing the de facto UK administration of the Falklands' to realizing that Argentina's Falklands' claim is spurious and that they have been duped into believing propaganda. He even called the Islands 'the Maldives' when he meant to say 'Malvinas.'

The Falkland Islands belong to Argentina - Who told you that?

You still haven't recognized the Kabuki Theater where both Romney and Trump are financed (controlled) by the same Money Power Fascist Empire?

When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.”
~Napoleon Bonaparte

Does America depend on Bankers for its money?

Is Bankster agent Trump even talking about this?

tmosley, I suspect you may be right but I take little comfort in that. Being on his knees, that mor(m)on may have sucked the Donald's dick a couple times but that's probably already the only useful thing you could ever get from that prick. So from now onwards he will be just another worse-than-useless clown in the senate.

I don't care for anyone's grand daddy, I only care for a man himself. Maybe he fuckin' hated his grandfather like mad and that's why he became a goddamn neocon prick. As far as I am concerned, he can drop dead along with all his fellow neocon assholes from Cheney to wolfowitz. Every single one of them

What is absurd is that some guy just decides he WANTS the job and it is given to him. Running for it is an afterthought here in this race and in many races. That shit NEEDS to stop. Just because some rich asshole decides he wants the job should not preclude him from actively fighting for it like Trump did. Nobody gave Trump shit. He pounded the pavement and did 1000 town halls and worked his fingers to the bone. In the end it paid off. Even his worst enemies have to admit the dude campaigned like no other Presidential candidate in history.

He already did that- recall during his speech, after HRC conceded the race, he called the Clintons wonderful people, or something to that effect. Trump recognizes power, respects it, and wants to interact with it in a way that creates a win-win result. He realizes the best way to win is to be gracious after you defeat the opposing side. He also realizes that sometimes you have to go along to get along, as demonstrated by his complete recantation of his promised foreign policies. It's a constant juggling act and he's quite good at it. Never forget that we are the little people, we have virtually no ability to fundamentally change things, at least as long as we love our troops. As long as we love our troops, those who follow the orders and do the dirty/wet work, the message we're sending is that the status quo is acceptable to us, the status quo being: there are leaders and there are followers, and it is the job of the followers to protect the leaders and to do what the leaders tell them to do. The message sent to the followers is: we love and adore you because you do what you're ordered to do, you obey the leaders' orders, and that's how we like it. Keep up the good work. Love the flag. Show your patriotism every chance you get by chanting "We're number one, we're number one!"

Yada, yada, yada. Whatever. One of the more salient and interesting FAQs might be...

Why TF would Mittens run for Senator, after he was the Presidential candidate? Could it be...

When you see a guy as rich as Romney, continually running for office, you know something is wrong with the system. Isn't there one fucking patriot in Utah that feels enough passion for this country to run for office? We need new blood in the congress from people who care about doing what is right instead of what is best for their party and pocketbook. Romney is a traitorous fuck who will throw Trump under the bus first chance he gets and will do everything in his power to undermine Trump's policies. This is disgusting.

Wife: "Darling the sink is still blocked in the kitchen. Could you PLEASE call the plumber? it's been 3 days!"

BritBob: "Ok I accept that it's been a few days, but don't fret it's not like the Spanish blockade of Gibraltar from 24 June 1779 to 7 February 1783"

Wife: "Bill and Margaret are visiting next Sunday and I'm going to roast a goose"

BritBob: "By Jove the Argentines got a good roasting on Goose Green, in the so-called Malvinas with their spurious territorial claims"

Wife: "I'm leaving you"

Britbob: "You can't leave me because you're my rock, don't give up now! The Rock of Gibraltar has been British for hundreds of years"
