"Burn Her", "Murderer": Angry Crowd Lashes Out At NRA's Dana Loesch

During last night's "unscripted" CNN Town Hall on gun control, NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch was given the courtesy of expressing her opinion in the spirit of mutual respect. Well, almost.

During a question by Stoneman Douglas student Emma Gonzalez, the attendees screamed and heckled her, calling Loesch "a murderer," as CNN moderator Jake Tapper kept quiet.

Gonzales' prepared statement, which CNN *may or may not have* approved, or given her:

Alright. Dana Loesch, I want to know that we will support your two children in the way that you will not. The shooter at our school obtained weapons that he used on us legally. Do you believe that it should be harder to obtain the semi-automatic and weapons, and the modifications for these weapons to make them fully automatic like bump stocks?

First, Loesch responded by encouraging young people to speak up: "I don't think that anyone should deny you your voice or deny you your position because you are young" which however quickly drew booing from the crowd.

She continued: “I don't believe that this insane monster should have ever been able to obtain a firearm. Ever" and said "I do not think that he should have gotten his hands on any kind of weapon."

As the angry crowd grew louder, Loesch twice interjected "let me answer the question" adding "you can shout me down when I'm finished, but let me answer Emma's question," to which someone shouted "You're a murderer!"

Loesch's attempt to discuss strengthening background checks drew even more cries of "Murderer!"

LOESCH: We had three lawmakers on this stage and only one of them hinted at reinforcing the background check system. It is only as good as the records submitted to it. Only one of them even got anywhere close to mentioning that. We have to have more than 38 states submit records. That's number one.

HECKLER #1: Murderer!

HECKLER #2: You’re a murderer!

HECKLER #3: Murderer!

LOESCH: Number two, we have to develop better protocol to follow up on red flags. This individual — this monster carrying bullets to school, carrying knifes to school, assaulting students, assaulting his parents, 39 visits in the past year. That should never have been allowed to get that far[.]

(h/t Chris Houck)

The next day, speaking at CPAC on Thursday, Loesch said she wouldn't have been able to exit the town hall without her security detail.

"I had to have a security detail to get out," said Loesch. "I wouldn't be able to exit that if I didn't have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming burn her. And I came there to talk solutions and I still am going to continue that conversation on solutions as the NRA has been doing since before I was alive."

Loesch then pointed out an odd inconsistency, noting that the people who call Trump a tyrant are the same people who want the president to confiscate weapons.

"The government can't keep you safe and some people want us to give up our firearms and rely solely upon the protection of the same government that's already failed us numerous times to keep us safe. And then they also call Trump a tyrant but they say they want the president to also confiscate our firearms? Try to figure that one out," Loesch said.

"I want to make this super obvious point," Loesch said. "The government has proven that they cannot keep you safe. And yet, some people want all of us to disarm. You heard that town hall last night. They cheered the confiscation of firearms. And it was over 5,000 people."

I love Dana.  I know that she, along with people like Dan Bongino, Sheriff Clarke, Katie Pavlich (yum), etc etc, will NEVER back down to these clueless evil marxist socialist brainwashed sjw dimwits who want to eliminate the 2A.   Dana and the rest know that this country is at that critical slippery slope/tipping point juncture  where over-reaction and knee-jerk decisions by lawmakers can and will have long-lasting and potentially devastating consequences for our once-great constitutional republic.

Stop tripping, you racists, misogynists and extremists!

A call to burn that mulatto looking bitch is coming from those who embrace peace and harmony: The Left!

So, it's perfectly okay!  We're about peace!  That's what we stand for!  And if we have to burn that bitch alive to achieve it, so be it!

I LOVE telling them that 3/4 of the country disagrees with them and watching their heads explode (well figuratively anyway).

Then a little math for the coup de grace:

US voting age population = 250 million

Voted for Her Fury = 66 million, if we round up AND count illegals to be generous, or 26%

Percentage of US adults who did NOT vote for Her Fury = (100-26) = 74%

So this horrible person shows up at a rally of people traumatized by violence, grieving parents, kids in shock, and mocks their grief, makes it clear she considers herself to be the victim, offers cliches and outright lies, and is shocked and terrified that she gets a negative response.

Where do these entitled snowflake sociopaths come from?

Yeah, she is lucky she got out there with her skin intact.  She's lucky it was an anti-gun rally, or somebody would have shot her.

Fuck those gun grabbers.  By screaming for action when they are clearly overwhelmed by emotion proves they have no business being ANYWHERE near making laws.

Time some grownups stood up and told these people to go fuck off somewhere else.  So tired of the "we gotta do something" bullshit that solves exactly nothing but sets up more and more infringements on my inalienable rights.
So let them grieve, but away from the whores on the Teevee, then let them THINK about ways to avoid this in the future.

Oh, and CNN can go straight to hell for taking advantage of this incident. They should have to register as a fucking lobbyist group with this behavior.

It is obvious that they approach important issues from an irrational frame of mind. If the constitution stated that the right of gays to marry "shall not be infringed" we would all know exactly what they were getting at.

Dana is out there protecting the rights of all of the gays, minorities and freaks to defend themselves against a govt that can turn on them at the drop of a hat. They may not feel the need to call to arms but who the fuck are these people to be deciding that for posterity or to take away my right to protect others??? Shitfucks. thats what they are.

It was not so long ago (1986) that the DSM listed homosexuality as a mental illness. Some still consider it that. seems like dangerous ground to tread on for those on the margins. Libtards everywhere are tripping over themselves to categorically deny groups of people their constitutional rights based not on their record or behavior but how they may act in the future and relying on a book of voodoo that, as I pointed out above, not so long ago demonized some of their favorite groups.

I dont trust them anywhere near the constitution.

The left is screaming for violence as a means to take away people’s natural right to bear arms and they’re too stupid to realize that 2A was written to protect freedom from people like them!

Irony, anyone?

The beauty of the 2nd Amendment is it will not be needed until they try to take it.

In other words do nothing -  I don't give a shit - its too difficult to solve - whats on teevee tonight. If its not ex-pupils attacking schools its ex-employees shooting their ex-employers.  Or drug dealers blowing shit out of each other or some other arsehole shooting hundreds of people at a country music festival or the many thousands who commit suicide every year via the gun in America. You have a gun problem and it is caused by your culture.

I agree that CNN have zero credibility but then so do FOX news and the rest of the American broadcast media. You never do anything about these mass murders because you don't try hard enough. Its not tolerated in other countries.

You collectively don't give a shit about mass murders of children or anyone else especially if it isn't in your state. You have a corrupt president who took a $30 million bribe off the NRA during his election campaign. He is the one person who could do something positive about this problem. Don't blame the second amendment. You can get rid of that excuse if you really try hard enough.

Other countries such as Switzerland have high gun ownership. Why don't they have mass shootings at schools or gun attacks at music festivals? They have a healthier culture.

America looks  very bad as a country and society after this incident.  Not a good advert.

Whats on teevee again tonight?

"Other countries such as Switzerland have high gun ownership. Why don't they have mass shootings at schools or gun attacks at music festivals? They have a healthier culture."

So, do you propose to identify and remove all of the garbage in our culture that (you surmise) leads to events like this one? How many more amendments will have to fall by the wayside to get that done?

Why is it that everybody loves comparing Switzerland/Norway/Holland and other TINY, 100% WHITE/HOMOGENOUS countries to the US? I never understood it. Think about the ratio of police to citizen, population density, & diversity, there compared to here, and then get back to me on the logistics.

You talk about the president as somehow who can "do" something to prevent the unpreventable. Let's set some facts straight: the world leaders are all A type personalities. It's why they rose to the top. The will never ever solve violence, because 1) they don't care 2) its a fool's errand and 3)  their purse strings and holding onto power is numero uno.

Now that we cleared that up, who would be able to solve mass shootings? The FBI already had a hotline which was used, its just that nothing was enforced so nothing got done. If that's what you want to solve, go ahead and file a complaint with the FBI.

And if you really cared about the childrens, then I dont think you should worry about the US at all, in ANY capacity. Go to Africa, see the horrors of child prostitution rings, slavery, genocides that end up with thousands of children dead. Why focus on the lowest priority, which is trying to prevent the 1 or 2 insane psychopaths in the US? I guess in your mind, US children trump those of the rest of the world, and yet you have the gall to question everyone collectively about not caring about murders in our states?

For that matter, who does care about anyone beyond their immediate family & friends? I've met maybe two people in my life who did, both doctors, and both almost permanently outside the US.

Horrible Olympe de Gouges shows up before the Committee of Public Safety and mocks the people with notions of equality?

And she expects to get out alive?

She's lucky she only lost her head. The leftist mob was too kind.

And that insanity, my friends, is exactly why I will never give up my right to arms.
