A little background while you sip on your morning coffee. While you were sleeping, Russia vowed to shoot down any missile that targeted Assad's regime and the place it was launched from. This could mean a US destroyer or a launch pad in the region.
“If there is an American strike, then we... will shoot down the missiles and target the positions from where they were launched,” Alexander Zasypkin, the Russian envoy to Beirut, said on Wednesday. “In the past few days, we have seen an escalation towards a significant crisis."
After reading this, our President of Twitter chimped out and told Russia to get ready for some nice and new smart bombs. This is real life.
Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018
An apropos reaction from a level thinking lad.
I'm speechless. I've studied every form of warfare known to man, but this one beats the hell out of me. I hope he knows what he's doing b/c I sure as hell don't. Excuse me while I check my supply of food & water.— WarMonitor (@TheWarMonitor) April 11, 2018

In the next tweet, the Orange menace said we should all get along -- all except ANIMAL ASSAD of course.
Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018
On the threat of WW3, which everyone in the media seems to be cheering for, the DAX is -1%, Dow futs -250, but gold and oil are up sharply. Last night Tucker Carlson interviewed Glenn Greenwald and discussed the authoritarian behavior of the press, who seem to be in unison on US aggression and rarely, if ever, calls out this government's incessant craving for blood and destruction.
