Majority Of Greeks Consider "Turkey" As Greatest Threat

The majority of Greeks consider “Turkey” as the biggest threat for Greece, a public opinion poll found out.

However, as KeepTalkingGreece.com reports,  Greeks consider as a threat also “Germany” although at a much lower percentage rate.

Six out of ten Greeks believe that there is a foreign country threatening Greece, while three out of ten do not believe this.

According to the public opinion poll conducted by the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), Turkey stands out with 50%. It is followed by Germany with 4.5% and FYROM with just 2.5%.

The ELIAMEP poll had the working title” What’s in a Name? Greek Public Attitudes towards the ‘Name Dispute’ and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in 2018″.

In the case of the Macedonia name dispute, the survey found out that:

Turkey is an excellent opportunity for people to observe how consenting to pathological power creates greater and greater pathological tyrants.

Watch as Eerdoğan becomes more and more pathological. He will become more and more dictatorial. He will create more and more conflict and ultimately more and more destruction.

When a person agrees to support pathological power, (paying taxes, etc), that person plays a role in the evil that comes from it.

Not that we need another lesson in this, but as long as people choose to be slaves, there will be tyrants. It is the first slaves that make the small tyrants. And as more slaves are added the tyrants get bigger.

Stop choosing death, choose life.

Their religion was, on both sides, was that of the Bizzantine Empire.

However there are influences in Russia from the Greek.

This is also noticeable in language. If you knew a Slavic language other than Russian you could actually see that influence because some words clearly stick out.

However, none of that really matters. If they both feel kinship towards each other that is all that is needed.

The religion part is undoubtful, they're both Orthodox Christian.

Please expand on the language influences, which words/phrases or in which other way is Russian language influenced by Greek? I understand many and speak a few Slavic languages including Russian and I've never ever felt a hint of Gayreek... What is your nationality if one may ask?

The greatest threat to the world is Turkey and not just for Greece. When you create an alliance with the Free Syrian Army composed of ISIS and Al Qaeda fighters to supposedly free Afrin and then commit genocide against Kurdish people there isn't much more to add to...  except that when you consider that the last chemical attack was committed by the Free Syrian Army as instructed by Erdogan and Rouhani to have tensions rise dangerously enough so that Turkey can move eastward in the north committing genocide against Kurds while Iran and Hezbollah can move eastward in the south to block Israelis from launching attacks on their nuclear facilities. If things work out the way Turkey, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood have planned they will eventually create a 5.5 million strong radical Islamic army to impose their wants while the USA and Russia try to reorganize after a nuclear war.

Draghi is merely an employee of the Germans,

as the troika is a tool of the Germans.

I question the validity of a "threat" question.

If it's a military threat, that would be Turkey.

But the Germans are making Greece pay for the

fact that Germany's banks are fatally compromised

and bankrupt. See how that has nothing to do

with Greece, but Greece still pays for it.

And the latest generation of Greeks are either leaving

or underemployed. And Germany is running the whole

Union into the ground, except maybe their own country.

But still, Germany is not a threat. right?

On the other hand, the US and others use Turkey as

a threat to cover for the Greek gov's purchase of

unnecessary armaments that it can't afford, and the

deals for these arms are sealed with massive bribes

stashed in Swiss accounts.

Yep! Daaa! Turkey has always been a great threat! Armenian Genocide, Otoman empire. Armenians, Asyrians, Greeks, Cypriots, and Serbians are all scared of Turkey. Turkey didn't even belong to Turkey. They confiscated Armenian and Greek lands and properties.

Greeks should rip Constantinople and the bosphorus out of Turkish hands.

That would be a honorable and purposeful way for them to die.

The Greeks and the Spanish are the only 2 countries in Western Europe that still do not recognize Kosovo. Greece because of its friendship with Serbia and Spain because it believes in the 'territorial integrity argument' which, they believe, prevents Catalonia from becoming independent and uses to deny that the people of Gibraltar have the right to self-determination. To see why it didn't stop Kosovo from becoming independent and why this belief is flawed.

A Greek Mirage 2000-5 crashed yesterday (killing its pilot) after an altercation with turkish jets.

Turkish incursions in the Aegean are a daily occurence for the last 30+ years

I'm surprised that only 50% 'voted' for Turkey.

Thanks FOPOG for the bronze medal for Macedonians.

However, the greatest threat to the Greeks is the fascist Greek state and policies throughout the last century where no other indigenous nationalities on its territories - mostly Macedonians and some Turks - are recognized as such or given any basic human rights.

And last decades this unprecedented breach of human rights has been taking place with a blessing of the monstrous totalitarian EU. Thanks God this Orwellian EU monster is dissolving at front of our eyes and people across Europe are beginning to wake up.

So fuck u FOPOG and fuck u EU! And ur effing surveys too!

You cant see Macedonians in Greece (as well as Turks in Greece) because you are either Greek fascist yourself or a tourist that goes to Lezbos and other gay islands since Macedonians live in the northern part of today's Greece, part of Macedonia stolen by the Greeks.

But please, don't take my word for it. Read this UN report about how FOPOG is seen abroad in terms of "protecting rights" of its citizens, including its citizens of Macedonian nationality.

UN expert report that asks Greece to provide the Macedonian minority in Greece with basic human rights: UN Human Rights Council, Report of the Independent Expert on Minority Issues, Gay McDougall: addendum: mission to Greece (8-16 September 2008), 18 February 2009. "The independent expert urges the government of Greece to withdraw from the dispute over whether there is a Macedonian or a Turkish minority in Greece and focus on protecting the rights to self-identification, freedom of expression and freedom of association of those communities. Their rights to minority protections must be honoured in accordance with the Declaration on Minorities and the core international human rights treaties. Greece should comply fully with the judgements of the European Court of Human Rights, specifically those decisions that associations should be allowed to use the words “Macedonian” and “Turkish” in their names and to express their ethnic identities freely."

Full report here, an interesting read for blind fascist Greeks:

Is interesting we don't consider our own political leaders and the members of their court, as the greatest threat to what remains of our ancient nation. After all it was politicians in Greece who enabled the Imia debacle, politicians who enabled the Euro-with no democratic due process i might add (no elections took place). It is the politicians who are the greatest threat to the survival of our small nation and we are more than oblivious to that threat; at least that is what the stats in this article show.

Turkey is the biggest threat to Greece. If Turkey collapses it would be Iran as the biggest threat. Or Russia. Current Turkish government has to go. I suggest Greece buy nuclear tipped missiles. 500 would do. Greece can't afford that many. Boo Hoo.

The Greek islands are beautiful, arid and over populated. The Islamic invasion will only complicate an already precarious situation.   I have thought about the plight of the disarmed citizenry for a while.  It would seem that edged weapons and crossbows might be a hedge against what is coming.  Home invaders should be dealt with quietly and dumped into the ocean.
