In Raging Tweetstorm, Trump Slams "Slippery" James Comey "As Worst FBI Director In History"

A day after he deemed former FBI Director James Comey to be a "slime ball" and a liar, intent on exacting his revenge for his unceremonious and embarrassing firing at the hands of President Trump, the president is back with another Sunday morning tweetstorm, and this time Trump accused Comey of leaving some of the most important questions unanswered regarding his conduct during his final months in office and during the FBI's probe of Hillary Clinton.

To start off his morning tirade, Trump lashed out at Comey for his stunning admission that the he might have behaved differently toward Clinton if her polling numbers weren't as strong, and that Comey may not have reopened the Hillary probe if he thought she could lose.

According to excerpts of his memo leaked to the mainstream media, Comey admitted that he publicly revealed the reopening of the FBI's probe into Clinton's mishandling of classified information partly because he feared that, once she won, her critics would have grounds to question the legitimacy of her presidency, as we pointed out on Friday.

Trump notes - correctly according to Comey's own statement - that the FBI director's admission shows that he was making decisions during the investigation based on whether he believed Clinton would win.

Trump then points out that Comey offered no explanations for the bureau's most questionable behavior, including the DNC's refusal to let the FBI examine its email server after Wikileaks released a trove of hacked emails, as well as the $700,000 campaign contribution received by Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe's wife from an ally of the Clintons.

Continuing the raging tweetstorm, Trump then complained that Comey's characterization of former AG Loretta Lynch's behavior during the campaign - particularly the pressure she exerted regarding the Clinton probe - validates many of the issues raised by her Republican critics, who have insisted that the former AG be investigated for her "impromptu meeting" with Bill Clinton days before Comey publicly announced the closure of the investigation.

Trump also denied again that he had asked Comey to swear a loyalty oath (Comey made this claim during public testimony before Congress while he was under oath).

Finally, a day after he deemed Comey a "slimeball", Trump expands on his new nickname for the former FBI director, deeming him "Slippery James Comey", although no relation to "Slippery Steve" Bannon.

Separately, Trump also touched on the Cohen raid - arguably the one thing that is keeping him up at night - repeating again that "Attorney Client privilege is now a thing of the past" and advising his twitter followes that "I have many (too many!) lawyers and they are probably wondering when their offices, and even homes, are going to be raided with everything, including their phones and computers, taken. All lawyers are deflated and concerned!"

As Politico pointed out last week, Trump's aides had hoped his visit to Peru for the summit of North and South American countries, followed by a summit with Japanese leader Shinzo Abe, would distract the president from the Comey book.

But after failing to strike a Nafta deal, Trump cancelled his trip to Lima in order to focus on the Syrian airstrikes which are now also in the historical record and thus no longer preoccupying the public with their "imminence." We imagine we'll be hearing more from the president later today, as more details from Comey's interview with George Stephanopoulos - set to air at 10 pm ET - start to leak.

After the Syria "bombing" fiasco, where rusty tomahawks were blindly thrown left and right without doing any damage but proving even OLD soviet S-125, S-200 and BUK systems can manage to take them down at a 0.7 efficiency , the MIC grip on Trump is useless.

As much as they want their showdown with Russia or Iran, US military IS JUST TOO DECREPIT for the task.

Getting physical against China or NK would be even worse: alone and sitting ducks in the rice eaters' backwaters with no outside support (unlike in ME/NATO area).

Don't fret my fellow ZH-ers, no hot war is coming.

Comey: 'I don't know if Trump was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow'.

The president has called the former FBI Director a 'slimeball'

""James Comey has said it was possible Donald Trump spent time with prostitutes urinating on each in Moscow, a claim originally contained within the Steele Russia dossier and which the president has dismissed as “fake news”. ""

@leakan -Even if it was 666D chess, people are too busy and/or stupid to pick up on it.  Putin looks like a cool-headed statesmen and Trump looks like a looney tunes cartoon villian, like Christopher Lloyd in "Roger Rabbit."  If Trump thought the effect was going to be anything other than this, he's a moron.  People like consistency and security.  USA loses international credibility and Trump waves 2020 goodbye.

No minds are changed, however.  Trump's just shoring up his base, and showing Europe he's willing to throw missiles around.  Everyone who couldn't stand Trump still can't.  Trump is giving his key supporters in the Deep State reassurance that he won't cut off the MIC gravy train.  Dyed-in-the-wool Trump fans will support him no matter what he does because they're not supporting Trump the man and President, but Trump the fictional character from scripted TV shows.  They don't care what he actually does because they're not paying attention to that in the first place.  They want soundbites that fit into a pre-scripted storyline, as in professional wrestling, and Trump certainly delivers the goods.

I was on the fence before the shiny new smart missile launch. Now I've come to the conclusion I have very little in common with his base, almost nothing in fact, something I'm very content with.

Two days later and this comment I found regarding Syria on a site that caters to his base still leaves me with a headache.

"I’m against this, unless it helps the party win the midterm elections."

I don't see how this could help. The people who hated him before this still hate him, and a significant portion of his base was against it. He's lost me as a supporter. Im not voting in the mid terms, and I'm not voting for him in 2020. He deserves to lose. These tweets about Comey no longer amuse me either. I really don't give a shit what these swamp creatures do to trump anymore, or what he does to them. They deserve each other. Trump may have campaigned different from the rest, but he's a swamp creature now.

If Trump loses the White House in 2020- can you just imagine the DEEP STATE bullshit that would be thrust upon on us for the 4 years.

Never one to be deluded to change fictional sides (in a controlled opposition game)- one team moves at a snails pace to the other.

Look at the crimes and fallisies of Obomber that have been covered- Nobel Peace Prize all the while 6,000 bombing sorties run in Syria in 2014 alone, spying on journalists that don't agree with you, Payola to Iran (without congressional approval), legislative writing from the executive branch (Obummacare), lying on a FISA application (Carter Page had been an FBI informant in the past, and they used him), spying on a political opponent using paid for oppo research as proof- and a complete media hush on all subjects that would tarnish the Mulatto Muzzie. If Trump is as Deep State as everyone says- Why the full court press against him??

If these Deep State Aggressions are allowed to manifest- your children will be in shackles before the 2024 election, and there will never be heard a dissenting word. He's compromised to a point (I believe the white powder sent to Eric Trump during the campaign had him falling in line)- but less so than the rest. And if the Deep State is giving him marching orders- he's marching slower than H Rotten Clinton would have but a long shot.

Shoot a couple missiles- telegraph your moves to Vlad- satisfy the MIC- save face- move ahead.

Anyone read this in the MSM (Marxist Socialist Media)??

Meh...God once told a prophet to marry a prostitute to illustrate Israel’s whoring around so having a dumb fucking president as a bumbling trip wire to slow the advance of our demise works for me, he may be a tool but mucking up the smooth flow of the deep state works for me, I have only allegiance to God and my family at this point. Trump gives me a few more days of freedom  before they kick in my door.

I don't buy media fed narratives. Before he ran for President- Trump was synonymous with success, the man built an arguably 10 billion dollar business- in the construction industry, and gave to D's and R's alike (mostly D's as they run NYC).

When he dared to run against the anointed NWO princess (whose experience was a shoe in senate seat (thanks to the untimely death of JFK Jr.) and an appointment to S of State), and when surprisingly became the R's nominee- he transformed into a bumbling idiot and racist?? Odd no?

We all KNEW what he was before the nomination- brash, opinionated, bloviated, self centered and pompous (oddly not unlike Alec Baldwin (or Michael Moore for that matter)). The difference with Trump he loves America. He fights like a New Yorker- most don't have an idea what that means- it's new agey non grata- it's testosterone fueled machismo- in a world of dandelions and metro-sexuals.

Well then I suggest if you WANT ONE damn thing done in 2018-19, start OPENING up your wallets to help elect GOP House members.

Both are BAD, one is just simply out TO DESTROY AMERICA.Obama damn near did it, Trump took apart a lot of Obama's BS.

HOLD your noses and pony up cash for several candidates you tolerate, because we damn well wont LIKE the other result.

A Russian friend of mine told me to calm down when I mentioned the humiliation of Russia, here's what she said, "remember Russia promised to intercept the missiles, which they did!" The promise to hit the launchers, was intentionally vague, it could be intepreted as kinetic actions against ships, planes, or bases but more likely, asymmetric actions against weak spots in the systems of the aggressors, and that could be economic, financial, or what have you.

She advised - Russia will respond for SURE in a time and manner of its choosing - and more importantly, the results would be devastating, and the aggressors would know who done it, and so would the world but most importantly, it would be in conformity with existing international law.

Now, it's USA's turn to be goaded into rash kinetic response. The trap has been sprung, will the "semitists" bite?

Watch this space...

Your feeling of being betrayed is understandable.  But yesterday, ZeroHedge ran a story out of Syria of how doctors treated patients from a bombing that were thought to have been gassed.

Remember that Trump is only one man sent to fix a huge problem.  That problem has taken over your life.

You are now not only required to give your kids some 40 vaccines that sicken them, you are required to pay the doctors to inject them or your kids don't go to school, which is also illegal.

You are required to purchase not just one car seat for your child, but several in succession.

You are required to purchase health insurance and car insurance.  In order to purchase these, you must give the insurer access to your bank account, in many cases.  If you don't purchase car insurance, they will take your car away from you if you drive it.  They can tell if you have insurance through a computer system.

At the airport, you are required to go through a radiation machine and remove your shoes, belts and coats.  A relative of mine was required to remove her blouse in front of everyone at the airport!  You are required to allow strangers to grope you and your family at the airport.

At some banks, if you want to deposit cash, you have to show identification.  If you want to withdraw your money, you are limited by how much you can get.

You are required to put a return address on anything you mail.  All mail is now photographed.

Etc., etc., etc.

All of these are laws that have been put in place in the last 20 years of the 240+ years this country has been in existence.

We are slipping into total control and allowing it to happen.

Don't be so quick to judge Donald Trump.  He has a lot of people to appease and a huge group of in-place bureaucrats to contend with.

It is not just the last 20 years.

Maybe no uproar in 1913 towards the Federal Reserve Act can be defended as it was done late in the night on December 23rd and few outside of the perpetrators knew what had happen.

But the gold confiscation in 1934 and the dollar devaluation were right out in the open and not at peep out of those who were robbed.

Same in 1971 when the last of the gold standard was done away with.

We have 100 years of in your face theft and no one cares.

I am troubled by the 1934 gold confiscation.  If was not enough to get people "up in arms" what is?

Historians tell me the only thing that will get the people to act is food shortages.

Without food shortages the people will give up everything else they have to the thieves.

1. Trumpy writhes as a squirming nematode

2. he has the attention span of a hyperactive 8 year old

3. he tries to fight multiple charges as they appear in a never-ending drip

4. even his porn stars have turned against him

5. strategic blunders, mind-twisting chaos

6. this presidency is a tawdry tabloid of depravity and cognitive failure
