Letter From Iran: Dear Mr. Trump, You've Been Served

Authored by Pepe Escobar via The Asia Times,

Top officials, including former CIA officers, Pentagon officials, US Army officers and former diplomats demand explanation of Israeli actions...

In a letter addressed to President Donald Trump, with copies to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the UN Security Council, four top former officials at the highest level of the US government have given him legal notice about his duty to advise the US Congress, the ICC and the UNSC, among others, about Israel’s actions coinciding with the “70th anniversary of the expulsion of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes.”

The letter is signed, among others, by former CIA operations officer Phil Giraldi; former Pentagon official Michael Maloof; former US Army officer and State Department coordinator for counterterrorism contractor Scott Bennett; and former diplomat and author of Visas For al-Qaeda: CIA Handouts That Rocked The World, Michael Springmann.

Maloof, Bennett and Giraldi, as well as Springmann and this correspondent, were among guests at the 6th International New Horizon conference in the holy city of Mashhad, eastern Iran. The top themes of the conference’s debates were Palestine and the Trump administration’s unilateral exit from the Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

As Maloof and Bennett separately confirmed to Asia Times, the letter was written by Giraldi and Maloof at an airport lounge as they were waiting for a flight from Mashhad to Tehran, where it was presented at a press conference this past Tuesday. This correspondent was on a reporting trip in Karaj. We all reunited on Thursday at Mashhad’s airport. The press conference in Tehran was virtually ignored by US corporate media.

Visas for the visiting Americans were an extremely delicate matter debated at the highest levels of the Iranian government between the Foreign Ministry and the intelligence services. In the end, the visitors, under intense scrutiny by Iranian media, ended up finding a huge, eager audience all across Iran.

A new psyops in the making

The letter signatories make a direct connection about Israeli actions that may trigger “and escalate American military actions against Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iran and Russia since these nations are opposed to the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem; and rising tensions already exacerbated by the US withdrawal from the JCPOA.”

President Trump is also served legal notice that the letter “will be included as evidence in all matters relating to the US Embassy move to Jerusalem/Al Quds and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action." The letter is to be listed as “exhibit 1 in any war crimes investigation and prosecution (past, present, future) relating to this matter, at all times.”

As Bennett told Asia Times, the main concern is that according to his military sources the current, volatile situation may establish the preconditions for “a new psyops campaign.”

Trump has been served legal notice – pursuant to 18 US Code 4, and 28 US Code 1361 – of “national and international legal violations.” The letter also doubles as “a legal notice to the American people” – and is established as legal protection “against any retaliation, detainment, investigation, sequestration, interrogation, discrimination, imprisonment, torture, financial consequences, or any other negative or prejudicial consequences or actions.”

Moreover, “any action taken against the undersigned will be interpreted as a violation of the following; 18 USC 242 (conspiracy to deny/violate constitutional civil rights); 42 USC 1983, 1984, 1985 (civil action for rights violations); 18 US 2339A (providing material support to terrorists).

The letter may also be interpreted as an olive branch; apart from requesting full whistleblower protection, the signatories offer themselves to fully debrief the President as well as Congress.

The letter is copied to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani.

There has been no White House response so far.

Considering the US embassy transfer to Jerusalem; the unilateral abrogation of the JCPOA followed by a declaration of economic war against Iran; the new narrative on the DPRK — as in there’s only our deal, or you will be destroyed like Libya; not to mention the treatment of whistleblower Julian Assange, the prospects for a fruitful dialogue remain bleak.

It's very simple actually.
The Palestinians want us dead and we want to stay alive.
What compromise can you reach with them?
Allow them to kill only half of all Jews? A third of all Jews?

The so called "peaceful demonstrations near the border" were in fact meant to serve as cover for armed Hamas operatives to storm the fence, invade Israeli territory, kill or kidnap Israeli civilians and bring them back into Gaza, so they can extort some favors from the Israeli government in return for their release (Proof of that is that 90% of the people killed on those demonstrations were Hamas operatives).

And we didn't like the idea, so we shot them. And will do that again, and again and again, until they learn their lesson. And that's exactly what any sane country would do to invaders and terrorists.

Some people are incapable of engaging in honest debates. Don't waste time with pilpul.

" Pilpul occurs any time the speaker is committed to “prove” his point regardless of the evidence in front of him. The casuistic aspect of this hair-splitting leads to a labyrinthine form of argument where the speaker blows enough rhetorical smoke to make his interlocutor submit. Reason is not an issue when pilpul takes over: what counts is the establishment of a fixed, immutable point that can never truly be disputed. " - https://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-shasha/what-is-pilpul-and-why-on_b…

When shills appear, just respond by dropping more redpills.

Look, you two thundering dumbfucks, I regard Israel as an illegitimate state, created by the Rothschilds as a base of operations for Zionist moneychanger world dominance. But although I side with those displaced from their homes in the region, I'm also quite aware of Islam's central tenet, which is: MUSLIM, DHIMMI OR DEAD. The idea that any rational person would take sides between Jews and Muslims, or consider either superior to the other, is ludicrous in extremis. BOTH groups believe in their inherent supremacy. The vast majority of people in both groups either actively work to bring about their dominion over all of humanity, or support those who do, whether overtly or covertly.

Downvote all you like, fuckwits. But accusing ME of 'pilpul' is only proof that you're either Muslim trolls, or just plain stupid. Again: I refuse to be ruled by Muslims OR Jews. Both groups need to find another hobby; this "rule all of humanity" bit isn't going to end well for either one.

So what is your own moral code or do you have one? If you are a moral relativist then you are wasting everybody's time including your own. If you are saying it is wrong for Zionists to behave like Nazis and figue that most of their aggression and exploitation of outsiders is based on the Talmud, then you must have some other moral code which you adhere to which you think is better for everyone. Equally, so if you are saying there are similar teachings in Islamic writings whereby they feel entitled to do the same things to outsiders, then you must have some other moral code which you think is better. So what is it? You can't say you are neutral on moral issues like likking people. I would think that if you had any decent moral code to work with, that when anyone of these exclusive groups committed any atrocity in the name of their cause, that people with a superior or more universal morality should condemn them and the atrocity.

The only moral code I feel compelled to share, when demanded of such by some random poster in a comment thread, is the NAP.

Both Jewish and Muslim beliefs/actions, as generally observed in the real world, fail to honor the NAP. Gaza ghettos, illegal settlements; Trucks of Peace, blowing up kids at pop concerts...

Anyone here asserting that one of these groups is superior to the other, overall, needs to justify THEIR moral code.

"The Palestinians want us dead and we want to stay alive."

Is that really so?  How is it so many Palestinians live peacefully in Israel and relatively peacefully among the settlers in the West Bank.

Think man. You've locked hundreds of thousands of people into a small desert strip. Treated foully, abused and shot them at will and you expect them to love you?  Your very language betrays your essential evilness beneath.  I know many Jewish people here aghast at your conduct and even even in Israel itself.  Read your own Israel news and stop trying to foul the rest of the world.

i agree with you. just for clarification there are 1.75M people living in Gaza (150 sqmiles). Its terrible and they are getting frustrated, angry and desperate. I dont understand how Israelis who have been thru so much suffering and discrimination can do this. They have walked in the palestinians shoes, there is no excuse for it.

Yes, it is very simple,actually.

You came from East Europe 150 years ago and are ethnically cleansing Palestine ever since.

As a former Israeli, I am one you cannot bullshit.

Gazans are part of those you have expelled, then occupied again, then robbed and murdered for the past 70 years.

As for Hamas - it was created by Israel to serve as boogeyman (the oldest trick in the colonial book).

and BTW, are you telling me that "Likud operatives" "Avodah operatives" etc. are perfectly legit targets,

since they are the operatives of the crime named Zionism?

Yes.  Israel is the Invader of Palestine.  Get the fuck out.   OH right.  No other country in the WORLD wants any of you there.  Strange?  If it wasn't for the MUSAD and Blackmail.  There would be NO ISRAEL.  PERIOD.

And do not accuse me of being Anti-Semitic.  People use that phrase far too often and have NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS.

Israel is a Country.  It is NOT a religion People!

Hey Mementoil,

Have you yet asked your IDF brothers why they felt the need to machine gun wounded American sailors in their life rafts as they were being lowered into the water for medical evacuation after our best friend in the Middle East ( and biggest welfare recipient on Earth ) attacked their unarmed ship USS Liberty by air and sea?

Nice try.

No cigar.

Not even a beer soaked cigarette stub.

Either you did no research, or you bought the official story, or you are in deep denial, or you know very well what Israel did and you feel the need to cover up for the crime.

At least Mementoil is not stupid enough to deny the story.

He would have been delighted to prove the story wrong by presenting information to the contrary.

You can bet it would have given him a world of pleasure to correctly refute, and he went on a Liberty search to back up his beliefs, but look as he might, nary a page could be found.

Alas, he knows the sorry truth.

Not so much you.

Since is is obvious that you never got past the political gossip stage, you might like to familiarize yourself with an actual military statement as opposed to your political echo chamber.

This is the statement of Capt. Ward Boston -- you know him don't you?

Oh, that's right -- you did no research so how could you know such things.

Count me in with support of the Jewish State.  Thank you President Trump for doing the obvious, declaring Jerusalem the Eternal Capital of Israel and moving the U.S. Embassy.  The land given by God 3,000 years ago to his chosen people.

Hamas admitted 50 of the dead were there fighters.  Frankly they didn't kill enough of them.  The Golan Heights is the high ground.  Anyone who has served as boots on the ground understands the importance of the high ground.  Israel is only asking to live in peace with it's neighbors.

That's right I'm a Christian Zionists.  Before this is over Damascus will be nuked.  Time for the Iranian Leadership to fall.

What do you mean? It is Syria that never signed a peace treaty after they were crushed during the destruction war they started against Israël.

Oh, and by the way, all you antisemi.... sorry, anti-zionists here: Whenever I see the word "Israhell" come up in a comment, I know I can readily skip this comment without reading, because it tells me it comes from a muslim agitator.

Wow you're a moron!

Every country in the world has elements of crime. In the USA everyday there are murders, mass school shootings, sexual slavery, pedophiles running rampant and the list goes on and on.

You have more chance of being imprisoned in the USA than anywhere else on the planet. FACT

Mass government surveillance in USA.

How can this be an excuse for Israel's crimes?

That's right you are a moron.
