"Their Lives Were Ruined": Victims Of CIA MK-Ultra Brainwashing Plan Class-Action Suit

Survivors and families of those who were affected by Project MK-Ultra, also called the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) mind control program, administered at McGill University’s Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal are preparing a class-action lawsuit against the Quebec and federal governments because of what they alleged had been done to them five decades ago.

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), more than forty Canadians for the first time gathered at a Montreal condo over the weekend to share their disturbing stories about how MK-Ultra destroyed their lives.

“The government should offer an apology and there should be recognition of the injustice that was done,” says Gina Blasbalg, who unknowingly became a patient at the Allan Memorial Institute in her teens in the 1960s.

Survivors Allied Against Government Abuse (SAAGA), as the group calls itself on Facebook, includes both victims and family members of Canadians who unknowingly participated in the CIA-funded brainwashing experiments under the supervision of Dr. Ewen Cameron, director of the psychiatric hospital between the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s.

During the length of the program, Cameron conducted “depatterning” and “psychic driving” experiments that attempted to erase a patient’s memories and even attempted to reprogram them with new thoughts.

The Canadian government funded Cameron with roughly $500,000 between 1950 and 1965 — $4 million in 2018 dollars, along with sizeable funding from the CIA. Project MK-Ultra at Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal operated using a front organization called the Society for the Investigation of Human Ecology.

Patients started the program with relatively insignificant mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression. In many cases, Cameron tested “drugs like LSD and PCP, medically induced sleep for extended periods, and oversaw extreme forms of electroshock therapy and sensory deprivation,” explained CBC.

My name is Ellen Atkin. That is my grade 2 class photo inset on the right. The girl in the bed is me. My mother was Emma Jane Crunican. She was in the Sleep Therapy programme in Montreal in the 50’s. My father, John Atkin, was also a subject of MK-Ultra. My brother, Michael Atkin, died when he was 19. My sister is heavily medicated after going insane in the ‘80’s. (Source:  rawtraveling.blogspot.ca)

Words From the Mk-Ultra Girl

Some patients have even claimed, they were forced into medically-induced comas for days or weeks at a time while a speaker played looped noises or repeated phrases.

“These were innocent people that went in for mild depression… They came out completely ravaged and their life was ruined,” Marlene Levenson, whose aunt was admitted to Allan Memorial Institute, told CTV Montreal.

Angela Bardosh’s mother Nancy Layton, who attended the Allan Memorial Institute decades ago, showed CTV Montreal a note from her mother that read: “They destroyed many parts of me. I’m lucky to be alive.”

Bardosh said her mother was admitted to the facility as a teenager due to depression. Bardosh claims her mother spent six months in Cameron’s MK-Ultra program, where she developed acute schizophrenia and ruined her entire life.

“It’s horrific to go back, it’s very emotional,” said Bardosh. “For me, personally, it took me years to even read my mom’s medical records.”

The survivors and families of Project MK-Ultra have now banded together and announced at the Sunday meeting that a major class-action lawsuit against Quebec and federal governments is nearing.

“A class-action lawsuit to sue the Canadian government, maybe also the Quebec government and the Allan Memorial Institute. It would first have to be approved by the Quebec Superior Court, which could take four to six months,” said Montreal lawyer Alan Stein, who has represented numerous survivors of Project MK-Ultra at the Allan Memorial Institute facility.

In an email to CBC, the Candian Justice Department said that a 1986 inquiry by George Cooper into Cameron’s Project MK-Ultra “concluded that Canada did not hold any legal liability or moral responsibility in respect of these treatments.”

“As this matter may be before the courts it would be inappropriate to comment further.”

Though the CIA ended the once-secretive mind control program in the 1970s, it is clear that Western governments have suppressed all information about the program to their civilian populations. As for the pending class-action lawsuit in Canada, well, it could be just enough momentum to spread the truth and unlock the secrets about what really happened during the Mk-Ultra years. Stay tuned!

this is sad, one of the many crimes the people in the us federal government has committed against "it's" people, and the people around the world.

however, this is naive:

“The government should offer an apology and there should be recognition of the injustice that was done,”

it's not a collective entity called government that committed those crimes, it's specific human beings that did.

those human beings who committed the crimes, must be held accountable.

The names of the perpetrators were changed to protect the guilty.

I am fairly certain this program did not 'end', but was simply renamed and relocated. At worse it was outsourced to private industry to get around pesky rules and regulations. That is the MO of the CIA and various other three letter agencies.

Medics are of JUST two categories:

mechanics aka surgeons, that can cut, paste and fix things mechanically.

drug dealers aka marketing agents for the Big Pharma.

Now, if you have a "mild depression" or any head problems, you cure them with trips to the gym, nature walks or dives into bars.

You don't go to see doctors, because the mechanics can't help you and the pill pushers will make it worse.

And those called psychiatrists are THE SCRAPE OF THE BARREL. 100% bullshit. No wonder the field attracts mostly kikes.

If I were to have a diagnosis of cancer, the last thing I would do would be to see an oncologist.  Cancer is essentially a breakdown of the immune system.  Oncologist are specialists in destroying your immune system.  Their cut, burn, and poison does kill a lot of the cancer cells (along with a lot of healthy cells), but when they regenerate, your body's immune system is so compromised that you die at warp speed.  All chemo bottles have warning/carcinogenic labels on them.  And everyone knows that radiation is carcinogenic.  Conventional oncology is like Keynesian economics - you cure a debt problem by issuing more debt.  There was a confidential survey of Canadian oncologists a few years ago, and they were asked that if they were to come down with cancer, would they undergo the conventional therapies which they practice.  Something like 75% said no.  I regard them as Blackwater Mercs in white coats.  Well paid killers.

MK Ultra is still going on and is vast.  It usually targets children before the age of six.  They are tortured in a variety of ways until their personalities shatter into multiple alters.  Then each alter is programmed like a computer.  Josef Mengele, the NAZI angel of death, came over on Project Paperclip under a false name, and headed up the project for the CIA.  Each alter had a particular purpose and was labeled with a Greek letter.  Betas were programmed to be sexually seductive.  Deltas were assassins - thus the in joke of Delta Force.  The public personality was called alpha, and was totally amnesiac when any of the others took over.  As the X-Files used to say, the whole ugly story is out there for those who dig.

This is my second post on this article. When the person in the article states she is lucky to be alive, that is an understatement. It's a miracle she can communicate it.

It took me over 40 years to be able to communicate about it. When I was a child going through this, the only thing I could do was blink my eyes as if I was signaling.

These Canadian MK ULTRA victims were experiments. Hundreds of universities were scrambling for research dollars from the government(CIA).

It took six years of programming from 1963 to 1969 to do what was done to me.

America is a real bad place. There are armies of right wing nut cases ready to put down anyone who tries to get justice from MK ULTRA and it doesn't matter if one can take and pass a polygraph. It's a nation of criminals.

And all the time, since 2005 I started writing over ten thousand essays on the internet, well there are young kids saying their MK ULTRA, when it's impossible.

The CIA terminated all employees connect to MK ULTRA in a huge purge. Since then the CIA has worked to cover up MK ULTRA.

In the early 80's I penetrated CIA by accident. I was working with an FBI counter intelligence agent who I had given some materials from radical Islamic students. He called me up and wanted me to talk with him. He wanted me to penetrate an Iranian cell. I did this.

When I reported something that was important, he called CIA.

He stated to me, I called CIA, when I said your name, they said they were flying down immediately. He wanted to know why. Why when I told them your name, why were they coming. I yelled back at him, I said, you said I was a number. He said, you're a number, you're a number. After the CIA came to Austin, the FBI man had a talk with me. He tried to tell me as much as he could. (Edit note; Another witness who I can name was 1979 in Yongsan South Korea 8th army headquarters, an army CID warrant officer(criminal investigation) who I knew in Korea during the army, told me the CIA was here asking about you, it was two CIA teams and I didn't know about the congressional hearings during this time, I wouldn't know that part until late spring 2005.)

(many times the CIA came, during childhood, in the army and during civilian life, I wondered when I would be free of it, when they would forget about me. That is something I said to myself many times. How would you like for the CIA to be involved in your childhood? How would you like if over 40 years of your life was not who you were?)

In the early 80's, with the FBI in Austin, what does it mean about the CIA coming to Austin? It means the CIA still had my file when the CIA told congress all MKULTRA files were destroyed. I didn't read about the congressional hearings until 2005. I even contacted Admiral Turner in 2013, he was the CIA replacement director during the congressional hearings. He was too old and ill to be asked.

Everyone was able to retire with a juicy pension after all the damage had been done. No one in the government will do right because it would impact their juicy pension. That's the bottom line.

I know everything now. I know the why? which was a major driver for me. It took a life time to understand what had been done to me.

I can take a polygraph about the above too. Matter of fact, I can take and pass polygraph after polygraph about operations I conducted on behalf of the CIA.

It's too late for justice. America is dying, there will not be an America. Since 2006 this nation has been steadily in decline.

The sad thing is that different levels of this shit has been going on since Lincoln's Pinkerton agents! I’d love to see what all the secret services have been into since Lincoln destroyed the Republic in the 1860s! You know what you get for killing 5% of the population and destroying the greatest form of government ever created? A big assed statue in DC and the brainwashed love of a National Empire!

This never ended. It morphed into SRA and other forms, used by Luciferian, cultish forces (like KKK, Dixie mafia, others).

It's probably the biggest story in the world about what's wrong with the world. Ever had electrodes hooked up to you and been made to repeat things you didn't understand while they looked into your eyes, watching for demons to enter?

Some sick, powerful folks.

Not a good idea Implied Violins. If 10% of it is true it would collapse most world governments. There can't be Truth and Reconcilliation just rage and chaos. Disclosure needs to come with social and political shifts that lessen the blow.

Getting people to shift their lifestyle so they aren't victim to the chaos is the only real way to end these things. Another thing is for groups under attack to stand their ground.

I disagree. I've seen ECT change a totally psychotic person that did nothing but posture in the same body stance without ever speaking 22 out of 24 hours for 6 months and watched her looking, speaking and functioning back in reality when she was discharged.

Granted. It's not for all.

edit: The first thing she said after 6 months of silence was "Oldguy", you've been telling me you want to help me get out of here. So get me a screwdriver so I can get this screen off the window!...Not exactly what I meant but people hear you even when you might think they don't.

But that is not who is getting it at the VA or at most hospitals in the US. They are giving this to people that have treatment resistant or chronic depression (the drugs don't work) and to people with undiagnosed personality disorders (there is no cure for that other than changing your habits and few people want to do the necessary work).

95% of the people at the VA getting this type of procedure are not psychotic. That is a problem. They have PTSD or depression and I do not consider the evidence about ECT valid as a therapeutic modality for those diagnoses.

Me neither. My buddy. a SOG, was done and they said to him ...You have PTSD. He told me he said to them...No I don't. Do that for the guys that actually do, He said to me.....I think they try to get you to buy into that so they can disarm you. ECT works in the right instances....and I doubt anyone can say what those are. All I can say is that I've seen it bring back the lost more than once.
