Harvey Weinstein Indicted On Rape, Criminal Sexual Act Charges

Shortly after Harvey Weinstein handed himself over to the NYPD to be arrested and arraigned for numerous allegations of sexual assaults, moments ago the disgraced former Hollywood exec was officially indicted by a grand jury on charges of rape in the first and third degrees, and criminal sexual act in the first degree.

Commenting on the indictment, Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance said that "this indictment brings the defendant another step closer to accountability for the crimes of violence with which he is now charged. Our office will try this case not in the press, but in the courtroom where it belongs."

Which is ironic because this is not the first time Cyrus Vance could have prosecuted Weinstein: in fact, as the New Yorker first reported last October, the NY DA previously had evidence of the Hollywood mogul's sexual advances, however, back then, the Manhattan District Attorney ultimately decided not to press charges, a move which many speculated was the result of Weinstein's political connections and/or large ssum of money exchanging hands behind the scenes.

“We had the evidence,” a source told the New Yorker, and yet Vance did nothing for obvious reasons.

This time, Vance did not have the luxury of not prosecuting and so the process which ends up with Weinstein, who has recently been liquidating much of his assets to pay for the mounting civil and criminal legal bills, serving time behind bars officially begins.

The full statement by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., on Weinstein's indicment is below:

"A Grand Jury has voted to indict Harvey Weinstein on charges of Rape in the First and Third Degrees, and Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree.

"This indictment brings the defendant another step closer to accountability for the crimes of violence with which he is now charged. Our office will try this case not in the press, but in the courtroom where it belongs. The defendant's recent assault on the integrity of the survivors and the legal process is predictable. We are confident that when the jury hears the evidence, it will reject these attacks out of hand.

"I thank the heroic survivors for their strength throughout this process. I also thank Commissioner James O'Neill and members of the New York City Police Department for their dedication to this case. This investigation remains active and ongoing. We continue to urge additional survivors and others with relevant information to call us at 212-335-9373."

Actress Ashley Judd and her lawyers have filed a lawsuit today against disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein, claiming that he damaged her career by blocking her from getting major movie roles in retaliation for turning down his advances.

"I lost career opportunity. I lost money. I lost status and prestige and power in my career as a direct result of having been sexually harassed and rebuffing the sexual harassment," Judd told ABC News today. "My career opportunities, after having been defamed by Harvey Weinstein, were significantly diminished. ... My career was damaged because I rebuffed Mr. Weinstein's sexual advances. I know it for a fact."

One should not cross the NWO

15th annual Tribeca Film Festival kicked off to much success, yet controversy sparked when the anti-vaccine documentary “Vaxxed” was in the screening lineup. The film was eventually pulled from the schedule after a handful of filmmakers threatened to pull their films out if it was screened.

or Israel - A letter to Harvey Weinstein

The first “D” is the test of demonization. When the Jewish state is being demonized; when Israel’s actions are blown out of all sensible proportion; when comparisons are made between Israelis and Nazis and between Palestinian refugee camps and Auschwitz — this is anti-Semitism, not legitimate criticism of Israel.

whatever happens to that slovenly swine-like kike is incidental to the damage this has done to hollywood -- and in the broadest possible sense.  for the same reason they advise gay actors to maintain a beard, the realities of the casting couch were to be closely guarded secrets -- this is exactly the kind of information that disintegrates the carefully sculpted image of tinsel-town and its slimy denizens in the public's mind.  it is for me impossible to look at these actresses in the same way.  the veil has been parted.  the illusion is gone. all i now see are scheming, desperate little sluts.

the weinstein scandal will force an evisceration of present day hollywood and something new will necessarily have to emerge from its ashes (America's ability to entertain being one the principal implements of its force-projection).  and, really, the time couldn't be better.  we don't make movies for domestic consumption any longer.  whenever a project is considered, deference is given to those with an assumed appeal to china or what-have-you.  furthermore, most of the funding in hollywood is drawn from foreign sources whose interests are at variance with our own.

i've said it before and i'll say it again:  the only entertainment value remaining in hollywood consists in its denouement...that is to say, we are now at the point in hollywood's saga wherein a massive catastrophe is called for.  think of this moment as the scene in Star Wars where Luke is sailing along the Death Star's seam, about to drop the shot and blow the whole thing to smithereens.

the happy ending comes when, in the aftermath of this glorious spectacle, the Rebel Alliance regroups and starts a new story; which is just a new chapter in a tale that's as old as time itself.

audiences will go wild at this immolation.  only politicians and journalists can compete with 'stars' for the prize of the public's hatred.  those at the tippy-top of meta-statecraft know precisely of what janus speaks.  it's fair to say that this has been baked into the cake.  put yourselves under the thinking caps of the wisest around:

if you know something is doomed to destruction, would you let that collapse advance in an uncontrolled fashion; or would you script every sequence of its demise?

by the bye, many lasses out hollywood ways will also soon learn why it's called 'lesser magic':

Yours is an interesting read on today's Hollywood and appreciated by this reader.

I have no affinity for Weinstein and slime like him. But for the purpose of setting the record straight, charging him with the crimes he has now been indicted of is - as Martin Sheen famously offered in Apocalypse Now - like giving out speeding tickets at the Indianapolis 500.

totally agree, RS.

even the recording i heard -- though sleazy and cringy in extremis -- did not to me constitute a crime.  and if we're being reasonable, it's tough to truly blame a dog-faced kike like harvey for chasing trim he'd never otherwise have.  this would be a witch hunt; but in truth, it's actually a bunch of bitter witches (literal witches, mind you) on the prowl for revenge...scorned that they were turned down for the part 'they were born to play'.  the the lion's share of shame should be placed squarely in the laps of these little sluts...particularly those who only years later complained.  i highly doubt harvey forcibly raped any of these girls.  if it's worth it to you to service a hog for a spot in any film (or even the prospect of a place in any film), that makes you a pig-fucking slut.  there just is no other way to look at it.  and in the final analysis, the tears of pig-fucking sluts don't count for much.

but here's the thing:  it's long past time for new blood in hollywood.  taking things a step further, i don't think motion pictures should be centralized in hollywood any longer.  i think this is all part of a necessary purge.  thrash the lot of them to shame.  offer their desecrated careers as a sacrifice to an indignant nation.  take the technical film-making know-how we've developed, cast hollywood's ashes to the four winds, and begin a new epoch of film-making and media representative of the American Spirit. if i have any gripe with harvey, it's that his films have sucked so badly for the last 10 or so years that it tends to make you angry...you feel cheated for investing time in such tripe.  and, well, the hypocritical activism rubs me the wrong way too.  he was always on the front lines cheering this women's lib shit and demanding we all give up our guns -- all while he treated women like gutter trash and employed heavily armed guards.

in back of all this we have a societal drama unfolding.  women are taking over hollywood.  they're using every trick in the book to do it.  i do hope they succeed.  nothing will doom that town to rapid demise faster than a bunch of sanctimonious/socially-active witches all competing to be the top bitch in tampon-town.  just look at every single company taken over by a female CEO.  massive failures.  there simply is not an exception to this rule.

for my part, i'm going to encourage this whole process.  GO YOU NASTY WOMEN GO!!!

smart money that wants to make a successful film will go outside the city and circumvent its new estrogen fueled power-circuit.

there will be film-making hubs in the atlanta area, boston, the midwest, orlando, the pac west.  it will be a decentralized model that retains a centralized distribution network.

in the meantime, pop some corn and lets watch some nasty sluts skulk away in shame.

Did Hillary have to blow Weinstein to get the contribution money, or did he give her a pass as long as she used her influence to protect him with all the other chicks he was assaulting?

There are many dots of pedophilia and assorted criminal sexual deviancy that all connect right back to the Clintons.....
