Tommy Robinson Protests Continue For Second Week As Thousands Take To The Streets

Thousands of Tommy Robinson supporters and free speech advocates around the world took to the streets for a second week of protests against the imprisonment of the UK journalist and political activist. Robinson was arrested on May 25 outside Leeds Crown Court for reporting on a pedophile grooming trial. After a brief court proceeding in which he did not have access to his lawyer, Robinson was handed a 13-month prison sentence for violating the terms of a suspended sentence on a similar offense.

Demonstrations were held in Britain, Germany, the United States and several other countries. Around 400 people gathered outside Leeds Crown Court on Saturday for a march through the city center, while approximately 1,000 filled the streets of Manchester for a #FreeTommy demonstration, reported to have been spearheaded by the Democratic Football Lad's Alliance.

Germans gathered in Nuremberg to show their support for Robinson, while a crowd also protested outside the UK embassy in Denmark:

Across the pond, a rainy Sunday protest was held outside the British Embassy in Washington DC.

Robinson was admonished last year by Judge Heather Norton for filming outside a gang rape case in Canterbury, who slapped him with a three month suspended sentence on the condition that he cease his coverage of the trials.

you should be under no illusions that if you commit any further offence of any kind, and that would include, I would have thought a further contempt of court by similar actions, then that sentence of three months would be activated -Judge Heather Norton

“This is not about free speech, not about the freedom of the press, nor about legitimate journalism, and not about political correctness,” the judge told Robinson at the time.

Judge Geoffrey Marson QC appeared to be watching Robinson's May arrest

Robinson's prior offense is what gave Judge Geoffrey Marson QC justification to lock him away within hours of his arrest. Disturbingly, Marson also ordered an Orwellian media blackout - which resulted in several publications deleting their articles from the web covering Robinson's arrest.

The reporting ban was eventually lifted.

Pedophile grooming gangs

As we previously reported, a group of 29 defendants are being tried for historical sex offences against children, split into three trials. Robinson was arrested at the second trial, while the first is ongoing.

Enraged Britons have been harassing the defendants as they make their way into court for the ongoing trials.

Robinson, 35, rose to fame as a conservative activist and founder of the English Defence League in Luton, Bedfordshire in 2009. After retiring from the party in 2013, he has continued to advocate for British nationalism and against unchecked migration into Europe.

He has also taken a particular interest in the grooming gang trials - a topic seldom covered by the mainstream press, and which Robinson has been speaking out about since at least 2011.

the whole subject is so ugly and uncomfortable that very few people care to linger over it. Robinson is an exception. For him — as he said in a 2011 interview with the BBC’s Jeremy Paxman — the “grooming gangs” issue isn’t something that afflicts some far-off towns but people in the working-class communities that he knows. And while there are journalists (notably the Times’ Andrew Norfolk) who have spent considerable time and energy bringing this appalling phenomenon to light, most of British society has turned away in a combination of embarrassment, disgust, and uncertainty about how to even talk about this. Anyone who thinks Britain is much further along with dealing with the taboo of “grooming gangs” should remember that only last year the Labour MP for Rotherham, Sarah Champion, had to leave the shadow cabinet because she accurately identified the phenomenon. -National Review

Another large protest is scheduled for June 9th at Downing street. Follow along using Twitter hashtag #FreeTommy

Is this turning into 'Gangs Of New York' style shit with the 'Nativists' and the 'Dead Rabbits'?  If so, I want to be Daniel Day-Lewis' character, William "The Butcher" Cutting.  Bill was right all along.  He shoulda killed that little fuck, Leonardo DiCaprio, when he had the chance.

There's been no protest to free Assange after all these years. There's been no protest on YUGE pedophilia cover up in the UK's top elites. Suddenly, you have something related to Muslim rapists then freedom of speech and pedophilia are all sooo important to you? C'mon gimme a break. Either you do one mass protest for all or your protest only to "free Robinson" is hypocritical, suspicious and carries little weight, UK.

Let's not get sucked into the jewish bullshit. Robinson was caught videoing court proceedings and streaming them live on Facebook. Let's focus on the fact that he was in fact breaking the law. Or are we just like the niggers after all?

Robinson and (((geert wilders))) are both HUGE supporters of Israel and are in their pay. Ultimately ANYONE being paid by a jewish organisation cannot have the benefits of this country in mind. As it is, Tommy is a fucking dimwit who can barely string a sentence together. I saw an interview a while back and they asked what would you like to do about the Islam issue and he said "I dont know... I'm just pointing out that something needs to be done... I don't know what we can do about it".. Well I do know what we can do about it! If these guys were sincere about fixing these issues they wouldn't jump around like monkeys drawing attention to themselves whilst completely sidestepping the real issue and make this whole thing look like a farce.

I understand if you're in the U.S and you think we're overrun by muslims and Tommy is a fucking saint. But that's just nonsense. We are overrun by Indians..... some of them happen to be muslim and some of those happen to be part of sex gangs. Just like in the U.S you're overrun by Mexicans.

There was a guy, Nick Griffin, who actually got shut down totally because he pulled the plug on the whole scam and called out that he'd been approached by agencies promising him lots of money to NOT talk about the jewish question and instead focus on Islam. He told them to fuck off, then talked about the jewish plot for white genocide as well as muslim pedo gangs. He's not around anymore. Nick Griffin was real. Robinson is a fuckwit.

Wrong: The Brits don't have much in the way of fighting spririt. Oh, they'll protest for a bit, but will they be able to keep it up, to a point where the government is forced to take notice? I don't think so: We've seen plenty of protests in the UK - all petered out in good time. In the meantime, the British media won't give them airtime.

The British government knows full well what will happen, and all it has to do is ignore the protests until they eventually go away. The very *reason* the Lancaster Plan exists is because the British government know that the people aren't prepared to fight for anything.

I don't care if Tommy Robinson is a turd. He wasn't videoing the court proceedings, he was in the street. There are many versions of why he was arrested, and none of them make sense.

Just what law was he breaking, if:

- he was identifying the accused who were already known?

- if the jury was already sequestered in deliberations?

- if the jury had already reached a verdict and court was being recalled for sentencing?

All of the above are versions of the reason he was arrested, and there are probably more.

You seem to forget that they tried to bang up Nick Griffin for inciting hatred, when he discussed the open secret of the un-prosecuted grooming gangs during a private constituency meeting a dozen years ago. Fortunately, they failed.

J S Bach - come on dude. You are too smart to get sucked into this Zino-psy-op.

Meet Tommy Robinson Proud Zionist

The Zinos are in the process of co-opting the Right Wing anti-Islam Euros, when it is the Zinos that drove and poured the Muslims into Europe in the first place. Who did 9/11? Who is Oded Yinon?

Devious bastards they are.

"Tommy" or what ever his real name is debates George Galloway.

Of course, all pedophiles should be chopped up and fed to the pigs, but Britain, Belgium, DC etc. have rampant pedo programs underway and have had for decades.

Listen to the Dutch Banker. Pedophile blackmail is how the real rulers keep their minions in line.

Tommy Robinson is in many ways irrelevant.

You can be politically lifted by the police and thrown in front of a judge who can lock you on his say so is what has actually been proved.

ASBO section 34/35 you can be standing in a place and it can be designated exclusion to get you removed is all you need.

Now to ban cash this method must be in place to arrest those who object to the banning of cash.

We went one step down the rabbit hole the concept is proven and if they do not ban cash how can they apply NIRP and any and all runs on banks as people remove value to not have to pay the bank?

Pissed myself laughing TBH are they dumb or what?

You now have a nice picture of the judge to point out or put a target on in future.

No kidding they are so dumb it only take a Tommy Muir 2 to appear and there will be one less judge in the modern world where those angered never forget.

I don't care about the judge he brought it upon himself as for affecting the jury though ... all juries in the modern world should be put in isolation from all family, internet etc. until the court case ends so it cannot interfere with any impartial decision.

The  reality is most of the population is unaware, and if they were are so somatised, brainwashed and also pussy-whipped by debt-slavery that the chances of really major protests at least on this topic in isolation are limited.

Where I do sense growing anger though is the attempt to evade Brexit. Oddly, people do seem to be getting genuinely angry in the dangerous, slow-to-ignite way. I think they may also be buoyed and given heart by events in Italy and Spain.

I doubt it will surprise ZH'ers that neither Tommy Robinson nor the events in those lands - let alone what they mean - are received close to nil coverage.

The average Brit will cower in fear that their house price might go down or interest rates go up: Trust me, when the time comes, there are ways to focus the peoples' minds back to where they belong: EastEnders, Coronation Street and Strictly Come Dancing.

Even if people get angry, what are they going to do about it? Form a lynch mob? Unlikely: The Brits have not had to fight a war on their own turf for at least two decades. For all their posturing about how "we" beat the Germans (when we're actually talking about parents, or - more likely - grandparents), the Brits seem very unfamiliar with how warfare actually works at the sharp end of the stick. I would say that when electricity, gas and water are cut, most Brits (especially Millennials) would actually be prepared to surrender within a day.

Brexit will be quashed, and there will be murmurs of complaint, with some smugness among the Remain camps. But what do you think will actually happen? That's right - absolutely nothing. Britain is the shithole it is today because the last two generations have always done nothing! As others have said, free speech is not free: It's rented, and you have to be prepared to pay for it all the time, or you lose it. The Brits are, unfortunately, cheapskates - especially when it comes to intangibles - and their government knows this fact very well.

“This is not about free speech, not about the freedom of the press, nor about legitimate journalism, and not about political correctness,” the judge told Robinson at the time.

This is a political statement by a judge, not a legal one. The paparazzi are all over the Royals, and others in the public eye, including using telephoto lenses to photograph them in their own homes. Not once, has the legal system chased these people down and dragged them into court. Not once has a judge said anything like this to these photojournalists who are, in essence, peeping Toms.

Robinson's mistake was not appealing this first political "conviction".

He wilfully broke the law,one which he was well aware of,and tried to taint an ongoing trial by that

quite deliberate action.Picking him as a champion of free speech and freedom is a travesty that only morons

such as you could support. To say he's flawed is a gross understatement. The Judge should have given him more

time in jail as he is a slow learner.

Downvote away,it doesn't stop you all being wrong. There are plenty of real martyrs out there unsupported but

Glad you know for certain all the "facts."
Tommy may have been inside the building when he received his suspended sentence.
Tommy checked with police BEFORE he started filming. His arrest was a surprise to him.
Tommy was not interfering in the trial. He was on the street. His information was already made public by an establishment news source. Why wasn't that newspaper targeted by the British legal system?

He was on a public street and not on court grounds.  You will justify your own slavery to appease your ego, won't you?

If you live in the Washington DC area, come down to Normanstone park, across from the British Embassy on Mass, Ave. to rally for Tommy on June 9th. Let's add these chants to the Tommy Tommy standard:

Hey Brits
Hey Brits
Hey Brits protect your clits
Islam wants them cut to bits.

Teresa May
Teresa May
Listen well to what we say
World War I
World War II
Then give in to dhimmitude?
We aren't going to rescue you!

What will Britain's future be?
Free like US
or caliphate?
Tommy's love
or Islam's hate

The UK police are the enforcers of Sharia Law. Grooming Christian boys and girls for prostitution is in compliance with Sharia Law and reporting on those facts are against The Law. Therefore, Tommy had to be jailed. It's all in accordance with The Law. Just ask Poodle Minister Treasonous Mayfly or one of her merry gang of traitors. They'll set you straight.

By the way, where has Treasonous Mayfly and her merry gang of traitors been throughout this? Hiding under burkas? Perhaps they are too busy plotting the murder of the Skripals, to silence those two loose ends, to be seen in public?

Go look around Jeremey Thorpe MP how MI5, MI6, special branch, government the lot conspired to protect a criminal. When exposed (as they all knew) Thrope got hammered, the same protective criminal establishment got off scot free.

Even more amusing though is the fact Thorpe was a liberal and it was the start the globalist liberal policies people like me have been suffering to this day.

That same criminal establishment however we have today in the UK because it was never brought to account.

attention British protesters: they're ignoring you because they don't fear you.

suggestions: 1) get some of the Rotherham rapees out front with bullhorns saying things like, "We fuckin' went to the cops & the pols, and they covered it up" 2) Burn it all down 3) publish crime statistics by race. they'll be hard to find, but they exist
