Putin Praises "Courageous And Mature" Trump For Agreeing To Meet With North Korea

Russian President Vladimir Putin praised US President Donald Trump for agreeing to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un about the possibility of denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula. After calling Trump "courageous and mature", Putin added that he's expecting a "positive outcome" from the June 12 summit, which is set to take place in Singapore.

"I still hope that this meeting – a very courageous and mature decision U.S. President Donald Trump has made, to have direct contacts with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un – will take place, and we all expect a positive outcome," Putin said in an interview with China Media Group ahead of a planned summit in Shanghai later this week.

Putin and Trump are said to be planning a summit, and the two leaders have met twice in person since Trump took office.

Trump

In addition, Putin recently told an Austrian media outlet that he and Trump speak on the phone regularly.

"Indeed, Donald Trump and I have, firstly, met more than once at various international venues and secondly, we regularly talk over the phone," the Russian leader said.

Putin's remarks come a day after Putin invited Kim to Russia. Later in the interview, Putin criticized US sanctions against Russia, saying they would hurt both sides. Though he added that Russia isn't afraid of the sanctions.

How long before the left uses these two statements to 'confirm' Trump's treasonous relations with Putin? We suspect not long.

Indirectly, Putin was actually referring to Trump's earlier decision to cancel the summit as "cowardly and immature".

Most leaders of other nations know that when you are addressing the exceptional US leaders (especially Trump), you have to assume you are addressing a five-year-old who constantly needs positive, ego-stroking words. Notice Putin didn't have to do the same with Kim Jong Un. Even South Korea is willing to give Trump all the credits. They are indeed the mature ones who understand the bigger picture.

A formidable alliance, despite the best efforts of the CIA, FBI, CNN/MSM fake news and MIC.

Woe be it to these seditionists and coup plotters when the real retribution begins.

If Vlad would stop with the messianic speeches to the Russian people, the kleptocracy, the two faced garbage.

In his German interview 24 hours ago:

"I would say that the US must give something back to North Korea in exchange for their stopping the testing of missiles and bombs. This is how you negotiate."

Basically saying the way you negotiate is to completely undermine your greatest strength, which is unrelenting sanctions, and no relief until there is meaningful movement, by easing the pressure in exchange for NOTHING - Kim is out of money and materiel for testing, and went as far as he could go anyway. He is bluffing, and Trump knows it, as does Vlad. Kim doesn't even have he money left to build a bomb, no less a miniaturized warhead. Give him something, and he will quickly spend it on exactly the same thing.

This has to be all or nothing, and Vlad knows it. He desperately wants it to fail. Then he will hold out carrots to Kim at their meeting a few weeks later.

More misdirection by the little spy in chief president for life.

Hopefully, Trump and his aides know better. Give Kim NOTHING until he makes total commitment to de-nuke. That is ALL that matters. There is nothing else NoKo has that we want.

Sorry, Vlad. But thanks for the hollow endorsement. Hey, maybe Trump the bozo aint such a bozo after all.

Kim has all the money he can print.

It may have little value outside North Korea but derives value within Kim's Kingdom the same way any Fiat currency does: state terror.

The Norks may have fewer international monetary resources than most countries but they have plenty of natural resources and manpower.

Kim got this far in his nuclear program (ICBMs and thermonuclear warheads); what makes you think he can't go any further?

Your comments on this site, btw, are almost unremittingly stupid. I feel sorry for anyone obliged to deal with you face-to-face every day.

Laughy reminds me of MDB, who was able to initiate long threads of ridicule and jibes every time he posted.  He disappeared right after Hillary lost.

Laughy is on my list of suspected paid shills.

Laughy should just give it up now, before his words drive more people over the edge to the red pill side.

... here are some the rest of what was said in that interview and it wasn’t all sweet nothings ...

.... “ ... Sanctions, however harsh they may be, will not force Russia to abandon its independent stance in the world, President Vladimir Putin said, adding that Russians will never accept trade-offs at the expense of sovereignty.

Speaking to Chinese TV, Putin said that he believes the rounds of sanctions imposed on Russia by the US, its allies and the EU have only one goal – to hamper its economic development. He went on to stress that no amount of sanctions and punitive measures will ever be enough to make Russia cave in and change its policy.

I believe that either Russia will be sovereign, or there will be no Russia at all. And, of course, the Russian people will always opt for the first. I think the Chinese people will too. We have no other option,” Putin said.

The Russian president argued that all attempts by the West to wreck the Russian economy will eventually backfire on those who followed the US' lead in ‘punishing’ Russia.

Those who followed the US lead, they themselves are beginning to suffer from what the United States is implementing with regards to these countries,” Putin said.

While Putin does not refer to anything in particular, it has been reported that the US government is mulling sanctioning European corporations that are engaged in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which is expected to deliver 55 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas to European consumers per year.  ... “ ...
