Facebook Algorithm Flags The Declaration Of Independence As "Hate Speech"

Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,

Over the last couple of years major social media, news and video platforms have been actively engaged in the censorship of what they believe to be fake news and information. Often spearheaded by third-party review organizations known to have biased views, there have been countless examples of unpopular speech and commentary that has seen its distribution suppressed or outright banned.

While there is most certainly a human element involved in the review and flagging of information, mega Silicon Valley conglomerates have also implemented automated systems to identify potentially hateful and repulsive content.

To give you an idea of the kind of automation in play and what words and ideas are being identified as running contrary to the principles of media aggregators and distributors, consider that Facebook recently banned America’s founding document from being posted.

Since June 24, the Liberty County Vindicator of Liberty County, Texas, has been sharing daily excerpts from the declaration in the run up to July Fourth. The idea was to encourage historical literacy among the Vindicator‘s readers.

The first nine such posts of the project went up without incident.

“But part 10,” writesVindicator managing editor Casey Stinnett, “did not appear. Instead, The Vindicator received a notice from Facebook saying that the post ‘goes against our standards on hate speech.'”

The post in question contained paragraphs 27 through 31 of the Declaration of Independence, the grievance section of the document wherein the put-upon colonists detail all the irreconcilable differences they have with King George III.

Stinnett says that he cannot be sure which exact grievance ran afoul of Facebook’s policy, but he assumes that it’s paragraph 31, which excoriates the King for inciting “domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages.”

The removal of the post was an automated action, and Stinnett sent a “feedback message” to Facebook with the hopes of reaching a human being who could then exempt the Declaration of Independence from its hate speech restrictions.

The Vindicator took a screenshot of the post’s removal:

According to the Vindicator, the post was eventually restored after it was manually reviewed.

..which excoriates the Democrats for inciting“domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless "ANTIFA Savages.”

I don't think there are many people left on Facebook, beside fake accounts. Facebook is a dead man walking.

Now if you want to amuse yourself and if you still have an account there, post a horrifying post for communism and the little red book and the capital from Marx. I'm sure it will be labeled as a love post and propped up by LGBT and all the stupid fucks over there.

Good question... ethics and political opinions aside the site is a technical flop.  It's very hard to find people using the site, you have almost no criteria available to narrow searches down (age, race, sex, height, birthplace, past cities lived).  The most basic stuff anyone with a brain would know you need to find people.  It's gimmicky, spammy and filled with fake profiles.

EVERYTHING that can be described as:

"Pro-White", "Pro-Tradition", "Pro-Liberty", or "Pro-Morality"...is NOW described as "Hate-speech" (thoughtcrime) by these vile assholes.

It is a race war, plain & simple. Many of the so-called minorities lack the foresight to realize that NONE of this crap is even in their best interests in the long run; who will they blame, when Whitey is no longer 'the enemy of the week'?

When White people are no longer able to play the role of scapegoat, even the minorities will realize who the real enemies are. Of course, they are generally anti-gun...so they will eventually realize that they were played for fools, and right back in the grip of slavery.

This is likely the 'offending' text:

"the merciless Indian savages, whose known rule of warfare, is undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions."

The truth is hate. I think everybody knows that by now.

Gentlemen, you all have a homework assignment:  Go learn about Postmodernism.

You marvel in incredulity why things as concrete as math or facts or data could possibly be called 'racist' by leftist loons who have an agenda to push?  You will learn the answer by learning about Postmodernism and where it came from.

I think blacks and women in the US are starting to realize that they are being left behind by the Democrats/Liberals/Socialists in favor of Illegal aliens, non americans, Muslims, gays and trans.

the continually shifting loyalty of the fact adverse crowd will ultimately be its own demise.  the politics of identity and perceived suffering should destroy them.

Thanks, here is some additional reading material ..

The Unfortunate Fallout of Campus Postmodernism- The roots of the current campus madness

"In a 1946 essay in the London Tribune entitled “In Front of Your Nose,” George Orwell noted that “we are all capable of believing things which we know to be untrue, and then, when we are finally proved wrong, impudently twisting the facts so as to show that we were right. Intellectually, it is possible to carry on this process for an indefinite time: the only check on it is that sooner or later a false belief bumps up against solid reality, usually on a battlefield.”

This, from the country of the Manifest Destiny granted by God to kill them or put them all on reservations.

Not only that, but how different is that view of the Indians then and one side's view of the other now?

In the bigger-than-the-Boomers Z and Millennial generations, whites are not a majority, so Millennials will need to find another group to serve as the racial-oppressor scapegoat, even though most of us younger than Boomer age do not remember the days before Jim Crow ended. We were not alive then; this includes late-middle-age Xers.

The INTERPRETATION of "facts" can be racist. The ridiculous arguments regarding mathematics is a perfect example of racism by the people JUDGING the "facts" (which are logical and provable in 3D reality) using unrealistic criteria to judge them racist.  It's a silly, illogical word twisting game well know in the Communist world of PC "facts."

Middle aged women and narcissists of all ages; that's the bulk of the "regular" Facebook users.

Wife is an intermittent user...touch base with relatives primarily..but of course EVERY fucking person she ever knew wants to be her "friend".

The narcissism makes me want to puke...one good thing about Facebook, it shows me EXACTLY whom I DON'T want to be friends with in anyway!

You're right, FB is really not an innovator in any way.  They never were.  If you wanted a social network where you could find anyone, either well-known or long-lost, you could implement it so much better than FB - using demographic criteria as you mention.  It seems to me that, for a Big Brother-inspired site, it is sadly lacking in desirable features or functions.  Due to its poor technical implementation, it totally fails at being a 'general social network' of use and it is merely an overhyped POS.

That's because Marxism and white genocide are at the core of anti-racism and are True Love™.  If you don't agree then you are Literally Hitler but I am sure that you are not because of your avatar which clearly shows that you are on the side of God's Chosen mass murdering bolsheviks.

By the way, that avatar looks just like my Grandpa who barely survived The Holohoax.  He told me some real horror stories about his stay but the worst story of all was when he was served stale bagels!  NEVER AGAIN!!!
