Australia Will Now Fine Parents Twice a Month If They Don’t Vaccinate Their Kids

Authored by Emma Fiala via,

Australia’s “No Jab, No Pay” policy just got a little stronger, or at least more insistent. Under the previous policy, parents who did not keep their children up to date on vaccinations would miss out on a one-time, end-of-the-year tax benefit called Family Tax Benefit Part A, valued at AU$737. Under the updated policy, those same parents will instead lose AU$28 every two weeks while their child is not up to date.

Australia’s Minister for Social Services, Dan Tehan, said in a statement:

Immunization is the safest way to protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases. Parents who don’t immunize their children are putting their own kids at risk as well as the children of other people.”

The expanded No Jab, No Pay policy went into effect on July 1, 2018.

While parents will miss out on approximately the same amount of money in the end, the updated policy serves as a more “constant reminder” that the government of Australia wants all children vaccinated, according to Tehan.

The Australian government has been attempting to quell the anti-vaccine movement for years and first introduced the No Jab, No Pay campaign in 2016. Since then, nearly 246,000 families have taken steps to meet the requirements.

Concerns arose after small outbreaks of diseases like measles and whooping cough were blamed on an increase in the percentage of children younger than seven claiming a “conscientious objection” to vaccination. Between December 1999 and December 2014, the proportion of children under seven with a “conscientious objection” rose from 0.23 to 1.77 percent.

Government vaccination campaigns are nothing new in Australia. Back in 1999, vaccination rates for children between the ages of 24 and 27 months hit the lowest level in 17 years. After launching an aggressive education campaign, that same rate rose from 73.6 percent in 1999 to 92.2 percent in 2015. But the Australian government asserted that still wasn’t enough and subsequently launched the No Jab, No Pay policy, spending AU$14 million on free vaccinations in 2017 alone.

Medical exemptions are available both for children at risk of serious harm from vaccines and for children who have natural immunity.

In addition to the No Jab, No Play policy, in some areas of Australia, a “No Jab, No Play” policy has gone into effect. In Queensland, for example, according to the National Centre for Immunisation Research & Surveillance:

Child care services can cancel or refuse enrollment or attendance of children if they are not fully immunised, unless they are undergoing a vaccination catch-up program or have a medical reason not to be vaccinated. Vaccination objection is not a valid exemption. This legislation applies to attendance at long day care, kindergarten, family day care, outside school hours care/vacation care, limited hours care or occasional care.

If an outbreak occurs, unimmunised children may be excluded from child care for a period of time.”

As a result, those abstaining from vaccines in Queensland are reportedly organizing their own childcare services to circumvent the law.

Allona Lahn of the Natural Immunity Community told ABC News:

We organize group childcare arrangements and we’re now devising our own combined homeschooling system. We use health practitioners within the anti-vaccine networks around Australia and ‘anti-vaccination-friendly’ doctors in the community.”

A similar move was attempted in nearby New Zealand but then-Prime Minister John Key concluded the choice should ultimately be left up to parents. Key said in 2015 of state-mandated vaccinations:

If the state forced a child to be vaccinated and the child had a significant medical reaction and potentially died as a result of that, that would be a huge burden that the state would have put on those parents.”

I hadn't had a flue shot in years and then felt employment obligations to get it one year.  Within a few hours I had a serious reaction.  It's been some 6 years and everyday since I deal with lungs having only enough capacity for a normal day but no running up steps or any extra exertion.  I can walk for miles, but can't jog 400 yards.  Never been overweight, no smoking, about a 6 pack a week, mostly home cooked food.  The possibility of being poisoned by those shots is very real.

A little more description of symptoms, would love to hear of any other similar experiences.  The Thursday it happened, my blood pressure and chest pain was intense.  I spent the whole 3 day weekend resting simply to make it Monday morning.  Early on, the chest pains would spike like a mini heart attack.  Slowly I learned how to not aggravate it.  Saltier food is a no no.  At one point I had a full exam but the doc kept asking me lifestyle stuff and history of asthma and stuff like that.  I told him I didn't get Asthma on a Thursday afternoon following the flu shot.  I told him if the lawyers insist he check for all of that normal stuff, fine, but eventually he has to go looking for the real problem.  I suggested a biopsy of lungs to see if some critter was living there.  It was a long day of a couple $thousand of testing, most of which seemed useless, and then his nurse called me with results to say I didn't have asthma and they didn't want to see me again.  The end.  Now I have high blood pressure I assume because heart is trying to move enough blood through lungs to overcome some blood/gas exchange problem.  The extra blood pressure feels like has swelled my ears closed a little like having water after swimming.  Occasionally they open all the way up but never for very long.  Mornings are worst because having my head level with heart seems to make pressure in head worse.

I did live there, and the country is gorgeous. The people are awesome for the most part. Only had one encounter as some drunk bogan almost ran me off the road.

The economy looked terrible, the refugee situation was bad, housing costs are ridiculous, and in general everyone there seems to live in fear, or is constantly drunk.

It is a pseudo-communist country. The Communists never left, they changed their party name and started playing like Social Democrats. Labour for UK types. Still everything they work towards is Thoroughly communist. Big brother signs everywhere and everything as well.

What ever happened to the Aussies?

What is it about commies that they can fool entire nations to vote them in, and then said nations keep returning them to power even after they drop the mask and show themselves to be control freaks?

Then they somehow start warping the entire population into marxist drones and no one notices until it is too late and they are all enslaved with social and medical orders that carry severe penalties for refusal.

the solar scam is slowing down

have to be ONgrid to get some benefit

that WAS 60c when power was 23c a kwh, so every other bastard was paying higher powercost while the rich creamed it back and then profited hugely.

now its 30c+ per kwh and the repay is 6c what you generate now of charging taxes for non existent services...if powerlines go by even if your stand alone, you'll get billed for service.

they do this with water n sewerage too in aus.

if they eventually run water /sewer past my home i will be up for near 1k a yr for something i dont want or have.

i have septic n raintanks n a bore.

Our dumb politicians don't even know the difference between vaccinations and immunization. They should all be jailed for the deaths and diseases they have pushed on the dumber sheeple who keep voting for them. Even a few months ago a man with young children died within days off his flu vaccination and the poison promotion just ramps up.

G'daughter rec'd gardasil as pre-teen. Mother thought she was "protecting" her. Second shot administered w/o parental consent. Well, this lovely young lady never started a monthly cycle. Now, just turned 20 and diagnosed w/ poly-cystic ovary disease - unlikely to ever normally conceive a baby of her own. What a very sad development! So Why are they pushing these injections again??

because fear sells!

and the mongrel in sth aus who pushed it gets a payout on every jab given

and the uni i would bet also has a deal too hidden somewhere in th e fine print

as to the HPV virus

everyone can have it anytime

and the body usually removes it within 90days

the VERY FEW proveable HPV cervical cancers got treated to fearmongering hype as soon as they have the vax

prior to the vax?

it didnt rate a mention!

gee how....typical this is.

You seem to be a little behind on your background reading on this subject; here, why don't I provide you some references to get you started?

- Dissolving Illusions, by Dr. Suzanne Humphries

- Healing the New Childhood Epidemics - Autism, ADHD, Asthma, and Allergies; by Kenneth Brock, M.D.

- The Vaccine Book, by Robert W. Sears, MD

- Science for Sale, by David L. Lewis, Ph.D

And a couple good books by non-medical people but very well researched:

- Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak, by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

- Jabbed, by Brett Wilcox (references the movie "Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe" that was banned at some famous asshole democratic actor's film festival, the name escapes me but he is famous for saying "Fuck Trump" at some awards show of some kind that I would rather die than ever watch)

And after reading all of that, remember this: The Center for Disease Control (CDC) was created in part to oversee vaccines and their safety before being released to the public...except, *NO* true, open-ended, peer-reviewed vaccine study has EVER been conducted FOR ANY VACCINE that has EVER been released to the public - and: the CDC *owns* the patents for *at least* twenty vaccines.  Conflict of interest, anyone?

Although this is what vaccine proponents proclaim, it is 100% factually incorrect.

The epidemiology data show a decrease in *precancerous cervical lesions.* There is no actual data on the vaccine's impact on ACTUAL cancer rates, because cervical cancer doesn't manifest until women are in their 40s and 50s (on average) and the vaccine has only been around for a dozen years. This is called a "surrogate endpoint."

Additionally, HPV vaccines have not been tested for general carcinogenicity. Chew on that point for a few moments—a vaccine that purports to prevent a specific type of cancer, has never been tested to see how it effects overall cancer rates!

This is why we are buried with a relentless barrage of pharmaceutical advertising and propaganda—because vaccine "science" is a bloody con job.

Poor argument. You cite 1 drug in thousands that caused these problems. And the system finally detected it.

Heads up: All drugs have side effects.

However if you want to doubt the validity of all science then go ahead and die.

Darwin works and when the dead morons fail to breed the herd improves.

Plleeeeeeze don't use modern scientific medicine and die from a cracked tooth infection. You won't infect the gene pool.  Too late I guess.

3 years and 2 months but I have literally never seen you comment before.

I always find the correlation between that phenomena and pro-corporate welfare propaganda amusing.

Also interesting is the fact that a cheap cure for polio has existed for decades and yet

an expensive and widespread immunisation program still exists for a disease that no longer does.

Cost benefit analysis says get rid of the program and cure the vanishingly small numbers of new cases.

I guess the cost to the tax cattle matters less than the benefit to your big pharma heroes?

PS: Are you trying to come across as a gaping dick hole? If so, it is going great.

You don't.

I bet you knew people who were in the twin towers on 9/11 too?

You are a transparent liar who resorts to Ad Hominem

and straw man arguments in a futile attempt to distract the gullible.

Just like all the other astro-turfing sock puppets.

You are an intellectually dishonest, weak and lazy dolt.

My best best friend's brother had polio. My brother in law had a mild case that caused limited leg growth. Same with my dive master. To my knowledge none had been overseas when they contracted it.

Believe what you want.

I must have really hit some deep gay denial nerve or something given your severe reaction.

Sorry. I have nothing against gays. So let's just bury that one.

So what you're saying is you live in rural Pakistan?

But on page 6 or so of this thread you claim to be an Australian who is about 50 or so?

I am also an Australian and have NEVER met a person with polio

or suffering from its effects?

Mainly due to the fact they are almost non-existent here.

And I am 46 years old and have lived and travelled in all states whilst serving in the

military and after.

Why do you lie about it so unconvincingly?

You are riding this thread like a driven motherfucker.

You obviously have an agenda.

Am I interfering with that?

IS this what u mean?

A: Oral polio vaccine (OPV) contains an attenuated (weakened) vaccine-virus, activating an immune response in the body. When a child is immunized with OPV, the weakened vaccine-virus replicates in the intestine for a limited period, thereby developing immunity by building up antibodies. During this time, the vaccine-virus is also excreted. In areas of inadequate sanitation, this excreted vaccine-virus can spread in the immediate community (and this can offer protection to other children through ‘passive’ immunization), before eventually dying out.

On rare occasions, if a population is seriously under-immunized, an excreted vaccine-virus can continue to circulate for an extended period of time. The longer it is allowed to survive, the more genetic changes it undergoes. In very rare instances, the vaccine-virus can genetically change into a form that can paralyse – this is what is known as a circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus (cVDPV).

It takes a long time for a cVDPV to occur. Generally, the strain will have been allowed to circulate in an un- or under-immunized population for a period of at least 12 months. Circulating VDPVs occur when routine or supplementary immunization activities (SIAs) are poorly conducted and a population is left susceptible to poliovirus, whether from vaccine-derived or wild poliovirus. Hence, the problem is not with the vaccine itself, but low vaccination coverage. If a population is fully immunized, they will be protected against both vaccine-derived and wild polioviruses.

actually it doesnt take long at all

see 58k indian kids with the problem after the vax campaigns

see the canadian issues with 6+ lst time i read about it

some of those kids didnt recover

theres roughly TWO places wild polios been found

namibia? or something like it and it may have been pakistan but im not sure on that.

be it wild or vax  mutant it would seem even in filthy places it isnt spreading far nowdays

if the poor bloody kids were given vitamins and decent food then it wouldnt BE an issue

malnourished people get ill.

yeah and  clean water and decent lavatories in PNG are everywhere of course,

polio  is soil/ water borne too..and i BET the present strain is NOT wild but the vax mutated variant.

my grandmother had polio while pregnant so my aunt also had some issues when born

very few even knew theyd had it  a few of the many were paralysed and many carry some disability still

its recurring from their own ongoing live bacteria in their own gut now some  50 yrs on.

flush toilets were THE biggest eradication of it along with clean water on tap or tank water not untreated river/dam supplies.
