All Hell Breaks Loose After Gohmert Asks Strzok About "Looking Into His Wife's Eyes" While Lying About Lisa Page

Chaos erupted during Thursday's joint hearing before the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees when Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) asked FBI official Peter Strzok how many times he looked into his wife's eyes while lying about the extramarital affair he was having with FBI attorney Lisa Page.

"I've talked to FBI agents around the country. You've embarrassed them, you've embarrassed yourself," Gohmert said. "I can't help but wonder when I see you looking there with a little smirk; how many times did you look so innocent into your wife's eyes and lie to her about Lisa Page?"

Democrats erupted at the exchange, calling it "outrageous," "intolerable," and "harassing the witness.” One lawmaker shouted at Gohmert, “You need your medication!”

In case of Trump cheating, everyone seems to be ok, insists it's no big deal cos it happened in the past, forgivable, but not for this anti-trump guy. I don't get it. Is there no standard to morality anymore?? It's like saying "down vote me if you agree."

Added: If the issue is about morality here (ie. "How many times did you look so innocent into your wife's eyes..."), cheating is cheating is cheating. No matter who you are or were.

Trump wasn't a government employee until January 2017.  Before that, Trump was a private citizen and not subject to any moral issues for which Strzok as a government employee must conform.  Remember this headline as long as you live from the day after election day, 2016:  NEW YORK BUSINESSMAN ELECTED 45TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

haha ... harassment ... this is a congressional hearing, and there are no limits when it comes to the impeachment of the witness. The question is entirely relevant to prove the witness has zero credibility and is a lying sack of s-. As many keep asking around here, why is this jackass 1) still on the payroll at the FBI, and 2) why isn't he in jail already?

WAIT A MINUTE! What about what Gohmert is talking about in the beginning? That there was an 'autosend' of copies of every email but 4, 30,000 plus emails, that crossed Hillary's server that were automatically sent to a 'foreign agent'? That Strzok was directly briefed about, and never followed up? Strzok who doesn't remember that reason for the brief? That DOJ IG Horowitz was left 4 phone messages that the IC IG wanted to brief him on this very data, and Horowitz never returned the call?

What the hell?!?!

I don't give a shit about Strzok lying about his mistress to his wife. What I do give a shit about is how broken this government is, that they've known about this autosend to a 'foreign agent' for over a year and nothing was done about it by not only the people directly responsible for it, but also the very people that are responsible for making sure the first group does their job!

Yeah I just watch the Gohmert exchange.  I want to thank him for this, I am guessing his purpose was to provide us the chance to see Strzok sneer defiantly at Congress and at the American people watching.  We have also been treated to Rosenstein sneering ina a remarkably similar manner.

These are not public servants.  These are ruthless self-aggrandizing bureaucrats with the force of law behind them, exercising power at their own will and for their own ends  contrary to those of the American people . They absolutely must be stopped.

Smiling smirking sneering sons of bitches.  One way or the other.

Congress has no power or authority to arrest anyone.  They require the DOJ to enforce their subpoenas, as well as their contempt charges, which means they must count on the Executive branch's support to enforce their rules.

Considering we have an AG that is essentially missing in action and an Asst. AG that is as corrupt as anyone in the FBI, I am not surprised at all that this lying sack of shit wasn't arrested.  Not at all.

Yep, that's the face of the corrupt FBI and DOJ leadership under Obama and too many of those devils are still employed, giving the American people the finger and doing their corrupt Übermensch actions.  What was it Strzok texted ?

"Just went to a southern Virginia Walmart. I could SMELL the Trump support."

"I am riled up. Trump is a f*cking idiot."

"I can protect our country at many levels."

Aren't there people in the FBI and DOJ so embarrassed by this sanctimonious sack of shit who calls himself THE FBI that they'll take him out behind the woodshed?

Good on Gohmert for bringing up Strzok's infidelity for the record.  Strzok = Shit.

What a completely dysfunctional system and a complete waste of time....

These testimonies are purely partisan and unfortunately prove nothing; evidence given by the turd walked out the front door of CONgress.

Instead, assemble a Grand Jury, let them hear the evidence then indict the piece of shit if there is enough evidence.....

The end result after today is Fox News will play all of the Republican zingers, and the rest of the media will play the dem zingers.... nothing solved.....

Rumor doesn't have that at all.   There were more than 10,000 text messages exchanged.  On December 17, 2017 when news of the admitted affair (admitted by both Strzok and Page) broke, Joseph Burrows, the husband of Page and with whom she has children, very publicly moved out of the house.

They absolutely were lovers.  But the liberal press is not pushing it much and is not showing us the lovey dove messages.  But thanks for making stuff up.

And if they weren't really lovers do you think this guy Strzok wouldn't be screaming it out loud, fighting the accusations, every waking moment?
