The MSM Wants War With Russia? A Dangerous Narrative is Born

The MSM Wants War With Russia? A Dangerous Narrative is Born

Written by Nathan McDonald, Sprott Money News

Make love not war.

This used to be the slogan of the left, and for many, who still consider themselves classical liberals, traditional liberals, this is still the case.

However the times they are changing and as I have pointed out in numerous recent articles, not for the better, but for the worse.

Insanity has taken hold of the West, as a percentage of the population continues to descend further and further into madness, madness that is being rammed down our throats by the MSM, of which throughout the course of this article, you will see is clearly the case.

The hub this week that has the far left and parts of the right, up in arms is his recent, first time meetingwith the Russian President Vladimir Putin, in Helsinki Finland.

Trump made a number of critical and crucial errors in the way he spoke, that inflamed both sides of the political isle, in which he contradicted assessments from his own intelligence community.

This shocked many, as it appeared that he was turning against his own agencies and siding with the Russian President. Although ill placed and honestly moronic in timing, his statements weren't entirely false, nor incorrect. As, to this day, it is still unknown as to what extent the Russian government interfered in the 2016 elections.

What has been disclosed by the Intelligence community, is that Russia did purchase 3,500 Facebook ads, which were designed in nature to promote Donald Trump.

However, what we also learned during their assessment, is that they were also promoting Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein during their primary campaign against Hillary Clinton.

Or how about the fact that the DNC was actively working against Bernie Sanders themselves, supplanting him and manipulating the results to see Hillary win the primary? Of which is a much more blatant and clear example of manipulation.

This Russian interference, in reality is a drop in the bucket, and for anyone who has ever run a Facebook ad campaign, which includes myself, you will know that this is absolutely nothing and does not have the ability to swing a Nationwide election in anyway, shape or form.

Another fact that needs to be taken into consideration is that Russia is not the only one who engages in these actions. To think for a moment that the United States does not also attempt to swing foreign elections in their favor, or promote key candidates over others is ludicrous. In fact, I would be stunned if this was not common practice.

What is shocking however, is the over reaction from the left, to Trumps blunder of a meeting President Putin.

Taking to the airwaves and social media, key, high ranking members of the MSM began to push the narrative that Trumps statements were "treason" and Russia's actions were an "act of war".

This "act of war" narrative was quickly pushed ahead by various outlets, as they began to quickly compare it to a modern day "Pearl Harbor" event. A truly stunning and disgusting statement, and an insult to the 2,403 Americans who lost their lives on that day.

CBS News Senior National Security Analyst Frances Townsend sent out the following tweet ;

"Russia Putin’s Attack on the U.S. Is Our Pearl Harbor. It was an Act of War and we should recognize it as such."

While Politico had the following to say;

"Members of the House and Senate have been briefed, but remain deadlocked in partisan bickering. Some in the House have spent more time investigating the investigators than they have in trying to hold Russia accountable. Trump’s suggestion to accept Russian investigators into this process adds a new layer to the sideshow. When right of the boom feels like left of the boom, it’s easy to miss the fact that what the Kremlin did—is doing—was, and is, an act of war."

This kind of talk is irrational, delusional and frankly, dangerous.

The MSM have completely lost all sense of personal responsibility in their pursuit of pushing their personal agenda and getting the next click bait story out into the airwaves.

Sensible people are taking notice, they are seeing this dangerous talk for what it is, and they are getting fed up with the actions of the MSM and their ilk, which is exactly why more and more people are tuning out and turning off their television sets, seeking alternative news sources.

Beginning a war with Russia, the second largest military power in the world, whom possesses a vast array of nuclear weapons, would be disastrous and catastrophic to say the least. Going to war with said power, over 3,500 Facebook ads, would be stupidity incarnate.

As I have been saying for years, turn off the tabloid, dying, dinosaur, click baiting MSM and think for yourself.

Rational thoughts and reason are sorely needed, and we need as many people as we can to snap out of this tribal insanity we have descended into, before the madness creeps too deep and corrupts the very foundation of the West, that so many before us have fought and died to maintain.

Really?  2 of you are convinced Trump is his own man even with the madman John Brennan whispering in his ear?

If you don’t have doubts you haven't been paying attention.  Who the hell convinced him to bomb Syria ? To sell the House of Saud billions in war toys?  To appoint Brennan as NSA?

I chose to reject the false choice of Clinton or Trump in the last election.

I voted for a 3rd party.

Then there are those who say that voting for a 3rd party is throwing your vote away.

I say that voting for someone you don't like, is throwing your vote away.

The general discourse sounds to me like a bunch of chickens arguing whether they should vote for Perdue or Colonel Sanders.

Do some research on Ranked Choice Voting, it is making headway in several states.

With conspiracy theories "cui bono?" is the test, so we don't need time. Common sense tells us NOW that Trump is no puppet. He already has more power than anyone on the planet, and there's nothing anyone could offer him that would come close to that.

But many now in Washington and Media (and too many outside these little bubbles) truly do have "Trump Derangement Syndrome". No facts or logic could penetrate their bigotry. In 70 years, I've seen nothing like it. Slabs of the US have lost their reason, and no one knows what the outcome will be.

Trump lacks finesse, makes mistakes, and often needlessly pokes his opponents in the eye. But in electing a President we elect a decision machine, not a father, a messiah. He doesn't need to be handsome, have good hair, a flawless past, a sophisticated joke delivery, or be a good orator. We don't even need to like him though are more forgiving of his mistakes if we do (like Reagan). Trump fails all those tests but on almost all issues that matter - and they're not the silly fluff that preoccupied the elegant, useless Obama - he's RIGHT.

Well a population does have a tendency to go mad when the population is spoiled brats, but it's great entertainment. Yes, because you whackjobs just can not stop wanting everything to be better, and then better than better, and then better than that and so on, until you're just plainly insane, getting irate over spilled milk, or somebody looking at you wrong. Because westerners are so fcking spoiled to the point that things could be better if somebody just didn't look at them wrong. And besides, the population can not outrun Id, Ego, and Super-Ego. And the issue with that is that 99.9% of the population run around on autopilot, and are not conscious of Id, Ego, and Super-Ego.

Well I gave you an up vote, but I will say this.

'They' have scooped up hundreds of trillions of dollars, as well as mountains of gold and silver'.

Should we just sit here and say - 'oh well, they deserve it, and we are diamond dogs'?

I don't fucking think so.

So I say to you. Fuck off an die.

And the sooner the better you fucking little weasel.

The MSM - the Mouthpiece of the "Usual Suspects" - is PUSHING 'War ON Russia' so that MORON 'Murcans will be DEAD & GONE before they WAKE THE FCK UP, REALISE who the REAL ENEMY is - and DEAL WITH those SCUMBAGS!

But TRY telling THAT to your typical DUMB ASS 'Muran.... and all you'll get is a slack-jawed cross-eyed grunt.

"the left" are not liberals.  There may be some liberals amongst them but the communists have taken over what used to be the liberals playground.  Liberals, while often insufferable, at least had a brain and were able to argue their viewpoint.  The communist left has no such capacity, nor desire.  They simply want to dictate their wishes to everyone.

the left are nothing more than insane rabid dogs.  And like rabid dogs they must be put down.  Liberals would have been wise to prevent the takeover of their playground by them.

DemandSider Sat, 07/21/2018 - 18:39 Permalink

Simple solution. Stop watching MSM, it's all propaganda, anyway. If Wall Street, banks, the MIC, and the rest of the globalist neoliberal elite were were smart, they'd have given cable away for free. Now, it's too late, they've lost control of the narrative for too many young people. My kids never watched TV or listened to the radio. They seek truth and find their own content on the internet.

How come Hillary lost the election but the Powers That Be and MSM are still implementing her (would have been) policies by hysterically fighting those that don't agree with said policies?

War is something that gets a population behind the rulers, at least until the war begins to be lost.  It is not inconceivable that the leftists MSM would like to see a war against a foreign rival in preference to the civil war that is brewing in the US.

Why? Simply because the leftists don't think they can win a civil war in a nation where a significant portion of the population still values freedom highly.  Civil war is not as much large battles as it is neighbour killing neighbour.  Look at the 1861-1865 US Civil War as it played out in border States like Missouri or West Virginia, where the local population was divided; it was brutal and personal.

The other thing to keep in mind about the Fake News is that the MSM's including newspapers (especially) have cut budgets and they do no investigative journalism anymore, so they lean heavily on inside sources within the Beltway. This has become the new form of investigative journalism and is why most stories never get "solved" - if the viewer is even aware that these stories would come to a natural conclusion--- they merely get replaced by something of seemingly more worth. Thus dying an unnatural death of simply being replaced by another mind-numbing non-story, for the numb-minded "news" junkies to get slathered up over. Because after all they need to be told what to believe.

The only 2 things that matter are: (1) debt must be repaid -especially if it's owed to another sovereign nation with a military and a hard currency or gold and (2) your country's currency must be strong enough to be able to maintain its military budget and/or offer as an export good - something that you debt holders can use as a surrogate for your currency. We have our intellectual capabilities as collateral - but that's about it when it comes to our export of a "good" or service. And I guess we could sell off our military and some companies like (after we had nationalized them) ATT, Boeing, General Dynamics, Microsoft, Apple, Intel, and United Technologies.

Again, DNC Services Corporation -- d/b/a DNC-- is a US, private corporation .

"russians" of some sort are accused of hacking the emails of this private corporation--- more likely the emails were leaked from the inside . These emails revealed just how corrupt the DNC ran their primary elections - funneling donated money meant for all candidates -- to the candidate the private corporation had chosen .

Remember, the DNC was sued for those very reasons-- Bernie supporters sued-- and in court , the lawyers for the DNC private corporation claimed for dismissal because: the DNC is a private corporation and can choose which candidates they want to represent their political party-- not primary voters.

the emails confirmed all this. the leaker of the emails -- the dnc insider-- probably a bernie supporter -- saw this corruption in real time -- and motivation for the whistle-blowing / email leaks.

the DNC is not "our elections"  the DNC is not "our democracy" -- it's a private corporation that puts up candidates. Political parties aren't part of any constitutional guarantee.

MSM is the DNC . Political corporations propping up other private corporations.

No war with russia-- and , this week-- we may see an end to the Korean War, finally.

27 July 1953 Korean Armistice signed between S- N Korea -27 July 2018 marks the 65th anniversary --- may not happen , but, something big will happen this week -- a breakthrough of some type .

Keep watching

The Democrat Party MSM Fake News may assassinate Archduke Ferdinand all over again. Whether they want to or not, I can see that happening.

They probably would like to at least start a war on a smaller scale than WW1 while Trump is in office. Democrats blaming GOP for wars with MSM propaganda help has long been chapter one in their playbook. Even if it’s wars they’re at fault for. The blood of Vietnam is on JFK & LBJ hands, Nixon inherited their mess yet he gets the blame. They set Bush up like a bowling pin voting in Congress for his Iraq invasion knowing all along the idiot would screw it up and they could rip him to shreds for doing so.
