Following President Trump's warning yesterday of intelligence showing Chines troops amassing on the Hong Kong Border, urging everyone to "be calm and safe", US News reports that satellite photos show approximately 500 armored vehicles in a sports arena near China's border with Hong Kong.
The photos collected Monday by Maxar's WorldView show approximately 500 vehicles sitting in the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, located across the harbor from Hong Kong, the Associated Press reported.

While some believe China is using the display as a threat of force against demonstrators, Chinese state media report that the vehicles are part of exercises that were scheduled to take place before protests broke out.
However, according to AP, the exercises came shortly after Beijing condemned violence at a protest in Hong Kong on Sunday and compared it to terrorism.
