Satoshi Nakamoto left a big problem in his design for Bitcoin – its very success means it cannot be used as money.  For example in 2024 Bitcoin outperformed all major asset classes delivering a staggering +121.5% annual return.  Who in their right mind would  sell the world’s best performing asset?

In other words the case for using Bitcoin to buy the groceries is dead.

So can Bitcoin become money and compete with the US dollar or Euro?

There is currently a competition underway to do exactly that.  The Goosie coin is specifically designed to make Bitcoin usable as money.

The Goosie Challenge rewards the first team to implement the coin’s open source design with 0.5% of all Goosie coin minted in perpetuity.  Given that the global $103 trillion M2 money supply is Goosie’s addressable market the potential rewards for the winner are not difficult to imagine.

When asked who was likely to be enthusiastic about taking up the Goosie Challenge ChatGPT came up with this list of 90 people.

Who do you consider the most likely to succeed or indeed could this be you?
