The White House on Monday accused congressional Dems of hypocrisy for criticizing President Trump’s arrest and extradition of Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro. In a release, the White House pointed to years of prior statements in which the same lawmakers called for Maduro’s removal, delegitimization, or arrest.

This wasn’t the first time. In January 2022, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated Russia could “neither confirm nor exclude” the possibility of deploying missiles to Cuba and Venezuela, saying it depended on US actions regarding Ukraine and NATO expansion.
More recently, in November 2025, Zhuravlyov told Russian media there were “no obstacles” to providing Venezuela with the Oreshnik or Kalibr missiles, noting that Russia supplies Venezuela with weapons ranging from small arms to aviation.
2019 when the Neocons, Trump haters, and of course CNN the Marxist Channel of propaganda, was calling Trump Putin’s Puppet for NOTgoing into Venezuela back then. These people know NOTHING about foreign policy. There have been hints of Russia putting missiles in Cuba or Venezuela. Trump really acted like this was a 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. In the latest episode of the Deep State circus that’s turned our justice system into a bad joke, a 92-year-old federal judge appointed by none other than Bill Clinton back in the ’90s has been assigned to oversee the high-profile case against Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro in New York.
