With the Strait of Hormuz still near a complete halt courtesy of not one but two blockades, two China-linked oil tankers sailed out of the Persian Gulf and into the Gulf of Oman. Meanwhile, at least two sanctioned tankers slipped through in inbound transits, according to Bloomberg shipping data

The China-linked Nobler and Ava 6, both small products tankers, were positioned in open waters off Oman on Thursday morning. There were no signs they called at Iranian ports recently. The Nobler sailed just south of Larak island out of Hormuz, and indicated Oman’s Sohar as a destination. The vessel had entered the Persian Gulf early February and had remained there over the course of the seven-week conflict.
