Real rate-differentials are modestly supportive of the dollar despite widely-expected easing of the US policy rate.

Bloomberg macro strategist, Simon White, notes that given The Fed's (fully-anticipated) rate-cut earlier this afternoon (though not overly hawkish as many expected) - as some other central banks nudge up their hawkish tone - the kneejerk response is that this should weigh on the dollar.
