"Help Wanted" Signs In NY Groceries Being Replaced By Self-Service Kiosks
An interesting observation excerpted from this weekend's Macro Call recap by Goldman trader and FICC/Equities managing director Faraz Munaim
If you have been to your local store recently (and I speak for New York City here), a few things stand out: a lot of self-service kiosk machines, toothpaste and soap locked behind barriers on the shelves and far less personnel than what you probably used to see in the past (outside of the folks who show up to unlock the cabinet for you to buy your toothpaste!).
