Here Comes The Surge In Stock Buybacks As Goldman Models A Record $142BN In CTA Buying

Earlier this week, we laid out the year-end rally checklist from Goldman flow trader Scott Rubner who, among other factors, listed corporate stocks buybacks, which recently exited the buyback blackout period, as one of the key support pillars for the market into year end.

According to Rubner, some 79% of S&P 500 is currently in the open window ending 12/8/23.
