Why Is Israeli Propaganda So Bad?

Bombing Iran...
Some readers will get angry at this statement because they don't want it to be true, but Israel appears to be winning its war against Iran. As the British defense thinktank RUSI noted in its assessment of the first 72 hours of the war,
In something close to a decapitation of the Iranian security state, the Commander in Chief of the Iranian military, the Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the head of the IRGC’s Aerospace Forces, and the former head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (involved in talks with the US) were all killed, along with dozens of other officers and a number of senior nuclear scientists.
In contrast, while Iranian ballistic missiles have damaged infrastructure and caused casualties in Israel, they haven't managed to hit similarly senior military leadership in Israel, or degrade Israel's military to the extent Israel has Iran's.
...While Bombing Online
As effective as Israel's military has been, it's keyboard warriors have been disastrous. Below are a few examples of Israel's awful propaganda so far.
Before we get to them, two quick programming notes:

Now on to some of Israel's recent propaganda fails.
"We're Doing This For Other Countries"
An ineffective tactic Israel and its supporters keep using is claiming that Iran is a threat to every country in range of its missiles. For example, Israel's ambassador to Britain claimed Iran's ballistic missiles could reach London without ever explaining why Iran would target London.
Iran’s long-range ballistic missiles can reach London.

Israel’s fight with Iran’s radical regime is in the interests of the safety & security of the British people, as well as all Israelis.

Similarly, the Israel Defense Forces' official account claimed that Iran might target Germany, Kazakhstan, China, and other countries if Israel didn't defeat them.

Aside from these being dubious claims, they're also unnecessary--just say you're fighting Iran because it has threatened you, which is true.
"Iran Is Targeting Civilians, Unlike Us"
It's unclear either side is deliberately targeting civilians (aside from Israel's assassination strikes on nuclear scientists), but the idea that Israel is somehow sparing Iranian civilians is obviously false. So why make the claim?

It also opens up Israel to invidious comparisons with its war in Gaza.

@AIPAC Estimating infant deaths in Gaza (June 2023–June 2025) is challenging due to limited specific data. Reports suggest at least 17,400 children killed since October 2023. Infants (under 1 year) likely make up 5-10% of this, roughly 870–1,740 deaths, but this is uncertain.…

"Dear People Of Iran: We Love You"
Possibly the best for last: A Persian-speaking IDF soldier telling the Iranian people that he loves them.
