Santa Rally, Week Ahead, & Metals Soar - Monday Premarket 12/22/25
Good Morning Team,
Stocks futures are up this morning as ahead of a shortened holiday week.
Metals are soaring again, with gold and silver futures hitting fresh record highs.
The Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) and S&P 500 (SPY) both managed to close above their respective 50 DMA lines
on Friday. The title of my weekend report was Santa Rally Coming To Wall Street.
In the report, I pointed out that stocks opened lower in October and November, but closed higher, thanks to a late month rally, and said, that can easily happen again in December.
Looking forward, as long as we stay above the 50 DMA line, we are likely headed higher.
We have more data coming out this week from when the government was shutdown.
