New York City Regresses Under Mamdani
The Lost Technology Of The Garbage Can
New Yorkers didn't appreciate Eric Adams when they had him as mayor. One of his great achievements was introducing them to a form of technology previously unknown in New York City: the garbage can. An observation I made about that on my personal X account went viral, so I thought I'd share it with you here. Before we get to that, two brief trading notes:
1) Judging from the premarket action, it looks like we picked the right time to re-enter silver with our bullish options structure on SLV yesterday.

Bullish bets on our system's current #1 name, a silver ETF, and our system's #2 name, a Chinese tech leader. Plus, a bet on an industrial laser stock that just cleared our technical screens. $SLVhttps://t.co/7xzVRAFTQo
2) Today, we've got four more trades teed up, including one on a gold miner that hit our top ten names last night. If you want a heads up when we place them, you can subscribe to the Portfolio Armor Substack below.

With that said, on to our viral post.
The Descent From Adams To Mamdani
Readers may remember Mamdani eating rice with his hands last year.
Zohran Mamdani choosing to eat with his hands despite there being multiple forks in front of him reminds me of when the residents of Sodom & Gomorrah demanded to rape the male angels despite Lot offering them his virgin daughters instead pic.twitter.com/LWJocFDSAm

In the replies to this post, someone quipped, "next New Yorkers will start eating with their hands".
Eric Adams introduced New Yorkers to the concept of garbage cans and a month into Mamdani’s reign, that knowledge has been lost. pic.twitter.com/psCQSbkxrk https://t.co/yVVDN3YT59
