Plant Biology Textbooks Seeded With Insidious Misogyny, Claims Gender-Expansive Academic

As the political commentariat is awash in hyperbole, dismissing the oft-noted truism that the progressive left and their sponsors in academia/corporate America/government are “at war with nature/reality” as hyperbole is easy.
How hyperbolic is it, though, really?
Exhibit A:
Contexts is an ostensibly, self-styled professional journal that “makes cutting-edge sociology research accessible to journalists, policymakers, sociologists, and general readers,” released recently a progressive missive masquerading as a scientific study documenting and denouncing, in one go, the “rape culture” endemic to the textbook publishing industry, specifically as it pertains to plant descriptions in biology textbooks.

Cutting-edge!
Via Contexts:
“Scientific stories about plant reproduction often draw on gender stereotypes and myth, making such myths appear natural. Based on an analysis of introductory biology textbooks, the authors demonstrate how the authors of these books cast male plants and plant parts as active heroes while portraying their female counterparts as passive, reluctant, or sometimes even deceptive…
Although we often describe plant reproduction in human terms, its biological reality in fact differs dramatically from our own…
However, popular and even scientific accounts of plant reproduction rarely depict the process in this manner. Instead, biology textbook authors describe plant reproduction through a set of habitually repeated stories that reliably draw on conventional gender stereotypes, reflecting those found in mainstream accounts of human reproduction. In doing so, they cast male plants and plant parts as active heroes—delivering, competing, accomplishing—and portray their female counterparts as passive, reluctant, or sometimes even deceptive.
When textbook authors rely on everyday narratives about women and men to explain plant sex, they make myths about gender difference appear inevitable and natural…
These patterns reflect broader systems of power and inequality that we often take for granted as normal or commonsensical. When scientists repeatedly link activity, independence, and success with masculinity, and passivity, dependence, or even failure with femininity, they communicate these gender myths to students, scientific communities, and the public.”

In depicting male plants as “violent,” textbook authors perpetuate rape culture and “uneven power relationships… in the plant world, too.”
Continuing:
“Textbook authors present male plant parts as active, and sometimes even violent, participants in the fertilization process. In contrast, they depict female parts of the plant as simply waiting patiently for penetration and the pollen to arrive, ignoring the multiple and active roles they actually play in this process. These descriptions echo tired plots about sexual conquest that identify men as pursuers and women as the recipients of their pursuit and eventual penetration…
Just as textbook authors draw on dominant conceptions of masculinity in their descriptions of male plant parts, they also rely upon an idealized and mythical vision of femininity when depicting female plant parts in reproduction. Dominant femininity refers to celebrated ideals of womanhood that reflect broader patterns of gender inequality, making uneven power relationships appear natural and justified in the plant world, too. For example, biology textbooks often portray female plant parts as protecting and supporting developing cells, just as norms of dominant femininity emphasize nurturing and caregiving roles among women. Such books depict carpels as vase-shaped organs that produce and nurture developing reproductive cells by offering them sustenance. Carpels have veins of vascular tissue that deliver nutrients from the parent plant to support development. Thus, in the rare moments when textbook authors describe female plant parts as active or consequential, they specifically underscore their nurturing roles.”

The Social Justice™ mind has proven itself literally incapable of differentiating between the agency possessed by sentient human beings and the entirely natural, instinctual activities of animal (and plant, apparently) life in the wild, thereby attempting to impose their delusional ideology — which is, again, at war with nature itself — upon the natural world.
To illustrate this phenomenon, here we have a progressive Karen drunk on #MeToo gender ideology attempting to intervene during what he perceives as a duck rape she is witness to in a pond by screaming “get away from her!”

Returning to the plant rape culture study, in order to determine how deformed, morbidly obese, gender-expansive, and/or otherwise intersectionally diverse the author(s) of this manifesto are, I took a disturbing dive into the online footprint of lead author, stef m. shuster, who specializes in something called “feminist science.”
(stef stylizes his/her/its name in all lower-case letters like bell hooks or any communist agitator worth his/her/its salt — punctuation presumably being a legacy of white colonialism or capitalism or something.)
stef, pictured here in his/her/its Michigan State University profile page (where he/she/it molds young minds in the field of sociology), appears to be a biological female that has exposed herself herself/itself to exogenous testosterone, grown a beard and is now balding. The result is an aesthetic mess, which is actually seemingly the goal of the progressive leftist, as they hate beauty.

Or stef could be an old-fashioned eunuch of yesteryear, who in a different era would have been overseeing the royal harem in order to safeguard their chastity.
Regardless of stef’s chromosomes, suffice it so say something went terribly wrong from conception until present day; perhaps the best short physical description of him/her/it would be to envision George Costanza going gender-expansive.
Anyway, here is stef leading off a lecture at the Houston Transgender Unity Banquet with an opening reference to his 22-year-old cat at home.

Obviously, stef the gender goblin is merely a gleeful arsonist, a useful idiot, as the Soviets would have called her — a minion, wittingly or not, of the power structure who claims with a straight face to fight it.
Gleeful nihilists have always existed and always will; what is unique in the current epoch is how far they have been allowed — made, you could even say — to penetrate into even the hard sciences.
But what is the use of this useful idiot, exactly?
My hypothesis is to drive society into such a state of psychosis and dysfunction that biology textbooks can now be credibly accused of fortifying rape culture in mainstream academic journals — and have the claim met with a symphony of bovine-like nods from bona fide members of the intelligentsia
Lenin blushes with envy from the grave.

Addendum: Where are the camps?
I was reliably promised that, under the literal fascism ushered in by Trump in his second administration even though he didn’t really do anything radical in his first administration, that these people would all have been rounded up and shipped off to labor camps by now.
Understanding that the president isn’t really in charge of much, and the way Washington works generally, that, even if he were sincere about his campaign pledges, most of them probably wouldn’t happen.
But, I had held out hope, just the slightest win was possible in the form of purging the gender goblins from their perch in academia.
Alas, they continue to run amok.
