GOP Congressman: Biden "Staging A Civil War" By Taking Down Texas Border Barriers

Republican Representative Clay Higgins of Louisiana has charged that the Biden Administration is “staging a civil war” by removing razor wire barriers placed along sections of the southern border by the Texas National Guard.
In an X post Higgins wrote, “Media: ‘Congressman Higgins, the Supreme Court just ruled in favor of the Biden Admin over the State of Texas, saying that the federal government can remove physical barriers at the border put in place by Texas. What are your thoughts?’”
“Me: ‘My thoughts are that the feds are staging a civil war, and Texas should stand their ground'” he added.

As noted, the Supreme Court ruled Monday that Biden’s Border Patrol under the Department of Homeland Security can remove the barriers if they please.
Reuters reported that “The justices, in a 5-4 decision, granted a request by President Joe Biden’s administration to pause a lower court’s ruling that temporarily blocked federal agents from disturbing the fencing while litigation over the issue proceeds.”

As we highlighted earlier this week, footage has emerged from Shelby Park, Texas showing illegals attempting to avoid the Texas National Guard, and instead trying to find Biden Border Patrol, knowing that the officers have been ordered to help immigrants cross and then process them into the country.

The Guard is also intercepting the federal government in the area, which has prompted the Biden DHS to employ body-worn cameras and record any “altercations” with Texas authorities.
