Deutsche Bank Raises Humanoid Robot Forecast As Physical AI Nears Scaling Phase
Humanoid robots are the next major frontier in physical AI, where large models move beyond chatbots on desktops, laptops, and smartphone screens and into machines capable of operating in the real world, whether cleaning homes, sorting goods on factory floors, navigating roads or skies, or firing mortars for the military. The robotics invasion will be one of the defining stories at the end of this decade.
Deutsche Bank's Head of APAC Automation & Industrials Research, Iris Zheng, published a note Monday explaining to clients that the humanoid robot market is beginning to show signs of life, driven by faster ramp-ups from Chinese manufacturers and Tesla’s push toward mass production.
