Mighty US yields surging further

US 10 year at 1.77% as of writing. The perfect trend channel continues, and if we close above 1.75% we have another break up.
Noteworthy is the fact this last yields move higher from 1.6 to 1.77% has been violent, happening in only 4 sessions. You can almost not "feel" the move, but it is big.
So far tech has managed to shrug off this latest yields move, but the 10 year at 1.77% risks reminding NASDAQ it is the duration play.
Third chart showing the US 5 year yield, currently printing 0.95%. Consolidating for weeks at recent highs and then a break up above the big 0.9% level is huge. Guess 1% must be tested just to be tested.
From 0.2% last summer to approach 1% in less than a year.
Time to revisit the excel sheets for some analysts...
