Earlier this week we showed how the retail call mania is alive and kicking. Note the pick up in calls over past weeks.
Meme bros are all over the current moves. Here are some interesting stats via GS;
1, 91% of single stocks options traded on Monday were all calls
2, just shy of 70% of options had an expiry of 5 days or less...with most people clueless how you price options, even less know how you price the extreme few days options...3, 88% had an expiry of 10 days or less...4, Last week saw the 12th and 13th largest call options days in history (going back to 1992)...all this call mania occurring in an overall rather boring slow motion melt up market.Imagine Powell ignites something bigger today...
