In the past 7 years 1.3 million people have left California. In 2022 alone, nearly 415,000 people left the state of California. Ok, not exactly fair, but that would make it the 11th largest refugee country in the world, larger than for example Iraq that saw 288k people leave and Ethiopia that saw 145k leave.
