The speculative fever has broken, vol has collapsed and KOSPI is now compressing into an increasingly tight range. Underneath the cooling tape, however, Korea's fundamental engine keeps improving: exports are rebounding, semiconductor demand remains strong and memory pricing continues to grind higher.

The question is whether fundamentals can now take over from speculation as the next catalyst.
