Chasing laggards makes a come back

You know what time it is when they start chasing laggards

At the end of most short-term massive bull runs (like the one we have witnessed now over the past few weeks) the market goes into "chase laggards" mode. Is this FOMO again a sign of the squeeze ebbing out, or is this actually the start of something bigger to the upside? We would argue that this fits perfectly into the playbook of now starting to fade the index rally. When it comes to hated names reversing it is a different story; always very hard to trade.
