From a technical point of view, gold remains very much inside the big trend channel. RSI is overbought, but has come down a little from extreme levels. First short term support down at the 21 day moving average, that is rising quickly. A close slightly higher and the upper part of the big trend channel comes in play, around the magical 3k area.
